By the way, my take is that this surge in accessibility is a net positive, mostly. But there’s a catch: you end up spending way more time just hunting for music that actually hits the spot compared to back in the day. It's all because we're drowning in information now. At the end of the day, it feels like trying to find 1,000 needles in 1,000 different haystacks. 😁

Using some backyard logic here: All the music in the world equals 1.
If there’s only one band out there, they're worth 1/1 = 1.
If there are 1,000 bands, each one is only worth 1/1000.
It’s a massive exaggeration, obviously, but you get the gist. If I heard X today, I’d think, "Hey, this is good," and then I’d move on to a thousand other things because I have options. Back when I first heard X, I listened to it exclusively because I didn't have a choice—that made it feel "more valuable." Plus, I was just a kid; back then, a scoop of ice cream felt like the greatest peak of human existence.
I’d argue you’ve actually nailed the current reality. To get the same musical satisfaction you used to get from, say, 100 bands, you now need to sift through 1,000. 😁

I might also point out that the youngest one isn't even close to being thirty, if you can believe that.
Any thoughts on moving to Chicago?

Just realized Mexico's entire GDP is basically only about 75% of what they pull in over in the Tri-State area 😂😂😂 That should give you some perspective on the Podgorica vs. New Jersey comparison 😂😂>

given the security level at Coachella lately, I'd be happy just to get myself inside 😁
This is a total train wreck. Only the first Hartera was actually decent; ever since then, it’s just been a downward spiral.

Get down to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 😬
Things are finally looking up as time passes.🙂
Pointless 🤷
Heh, if I had my way, the lineup would at least include The National, Mum, Battles, Aesop Rock, Minus the Bear, Diplo, Jens Lekman, Architecture in Helsinki, Datarock, Kraftwerk, Death Cab for Cutie, Turbonegro, M.I.A., Islands, Akron Family, Dredg, Uffie, My Morning Jacket, Gogol Bordello, The Streets, Metric, Simian Mobile Disco, Dmitra from Paris, and Les Savy Fav.
😬 😬
😬 😬
Eh, you didn't really cover much regarding Coachella, considering there are at least 100 performers on that lineup 😬
I’m honestly hoping this lineup finally brings something worth our time 😁
And don't even get me started on those blind ticket sales 🙂

At the end of the day, you can only really talk about how much TV music has gone to hell; anything else is just noise.

I get the feeling a huge number of people are just living in their own little bubbles ☕
