Ukraine VII in Feedback & Suggestions ·
By leaning on old arguments about border conflicts and those other massive, overly dramatic analogies, they’ve started priming their readers—specifically the Gipper crowd, the Clonville set, and the rest of that crew (if the Scotchman wants me to list the whole gang, I can do it easily, though I suspect he knows them just as well as you do)—to ensure that these five aggressors they keep pushing since the Crimea situation kicked off are just a continuation of the trolling that’s been carefully stoked for ages.
It fits perfectly with how Ante Gotovina is being used now, just to make it crystal clear—for anyone who hasn't caught on yet—exactly what kind of aggressive mob the poor Ukrainians have been dealing with for months.
Claiming there's a connection between that and the much more complex reality on the ground in Ukraine is something only someone on some heavy drugs would suggest.

I could easily spin a narrative where, say, some newcomer or Biden’s little helpers and their logistics fail, and then the aggressors win out. I could plant Clonville types to repeat the same two or three mantras like it's their only purpose in life, just so the "interested" readers get a "quality" look at what happens when self-righteous democrats suddenly decide to swoop in and save a country from some supposed Red menace, only to lobotomize, devastate, and leave it completely hollowed out in the process.
Can I go on?

I mention your own impressions because they fit right into this grand, ceremonial program of demonizing Russia that we’ve been witnessing for months.

PS. It’s good that the Scotchman noticed who was being louder on the topic back then; kudos to him. My only gripe is that he failed to notice the periods when you couldn't even catch your breath because of all the pro-American spammers.

It’s honestly staggering how far this goes—and how openly the haters of Mother Russia are starting to use these tactics
goldenowl73, what you're doing here isn't just shameless bias anymore; this is straight-up, malicious, bottom-of-the-barrel manipulation
And then people wonder why, for years now, if you want to find anyone on political threads worth actually debating, you have to hunt through a magnifying glass—because everything is choked out by mindless, scripted spam that makes it impossible to break through
To make matters worse, whether we’re talking about the NATO/Russia conflict or our own internal dealings with bad actors, you’ll always run into massive amounts of this single-minded, brain-numbing spam because apparently, we are the center of the universe, right?

Basically, the moment those extremists showed up in Crimea, you went on a crusade regarding this topic—a topic you refuse to let go of even though the guidelines, for us mere mortals, are clearly laid out
Meanwhile, I still remember those "eyewitness" posts you used to drop about the grim, dull-witted Russians you supposedly encountered while you were staying in the underground during your time there
That was just brilliant

And here is a fresh one—just another example of how there truly is no limit to your disgusting manipulations

goldenowl73 said:The Secretary of Defense says the operation continues until Ukraine is fully liberated http://www.kyivpost.com/content/ukra...on-354856.html

And I also found an interesting tweet from Boris Filatov, who is obviously involved in the liberation operation, stating that he spoke today with Americans who fought alongside Ante Gotovina, and they advised him not to stop but to push forward https://twitter.com/euromaidan/statu...966400/photo/1

So now you're dragging Gotovina into the narrative, just so any casual reader can finally understand exactly what kind of extremist mob the poor Ukrainians are dealing with

In conclusion, I think the Morning Post and Buzin are total amateurs when it comes to tracking this crisis, and personally, I think you should have been kicked off this platform ages ago because, more than once, you've shown that you are a disgrace to this administration

Arthur Fowler83 said:Right after that, they had "advisors" dispatched from Washington to take the reins of the security services and military structures. It was all done out in the open—totally official. I don't think that even requires much proof at this point.

And you forgot one thing—Biden, the little sleeper who’s finally woken up, is openly seizing control of the energy sector.😁

edit: alright, here's a bit of constructive feedback—I'm feeling generous today.
My suggestion? Start aggressively cutting out the paid trolls—those mercenary spammers you can't have a rational conversation with, the ones who have been gutting political discourse for years now.
Or, just cut a deal with the interested parties: tell them you'll allow a maximum of three serious pioneers, youngsters, or fanatics to act as proxies for whatever foreign interest they represent.
That's how you actually clean up the political landscape.

@ wiredangler5, I hate to be the one to break it to you, but your personal bias heavily influences how you shape the threads on the subreddits you moderate—and more broadly, it dictates the entire "vibe" and political slant being projected here
Look, after spending several years scanning the way this system operates, I’ve become pretty certain about this, so I feel empowered to finally lay it out for you.

And just as an aside, those pro-Russian spammers were nothing more than a direct response to that nauseatingly pro-American—pardon me, let's say pro-Ukrainian—propaganda that has been flooding the scene since this crisis kicked off in the first place.
It’s basic physics, really: action and reaction.

goldenowl73 said:Look, we have visibility into your IP addresses. Believe me, if I suspect someone is running a clone account, I check their IP. I sniff them out, cross-reference IPs, and run clone trackers... and right at the top of this thread, it’s clearly stated in **bold and underlined**: "We will no longer warn you about this, nor will we warn you about tagging other users" especially regarding mutual accusations of trolling.
" This is now the seventh thread about Ukraine where we keep pinning the exact same post—a post you all CONSTANTLY ignore. A million warnings, pleas, and strikes. Yet, the same people CONTINUE to do the exact same things.

The persistent, almost daily refrain from you active posters is "stop trolling," or "look how they're trolling," etc. Even here, in this specific thread, you couldn't help yourselves from falling into that pattern.

It’s no surprise they keep doing it—the moderation team simply hasn't been able to put an end to the pro-American spammers (that so-called 'Buzin Brigade' that diligently pollutes this entire forum with absolute garbage) who consistently insult the intelligence of anyone actually trying to think. Furthermore, the mods haven't been able to facilitate actual discussion from the start; people who are genuinely interested in the subject and actually know what they're talking about have given up because it’s impossible to cut through the endless mountain of junk being posted—junk that often has nothing to do with the topic at hand.

Right from the very first installment, users were acting in good faith, warning about the exact same issues that Jack Cook7 and the rest of those interested in raising the standard of discourse are pointing out again now.
When you're dealing with bots that relentlessly pump out propaganda for idiots—content that lacks even a shred of common sense—communication becomes impossible. It’s honestly baffling to me that posts like that are still allowed to pass through on the politics section to this day.
The exact same thing is happening elsewhere in the politics section, where a diligent group continues to clutter everything with that old regionalist rhetoric, acting like there isn't a tomorrow.

The moderation team failed miserably in their duties regarding the Ukraine crisis thread, proving that some of you are simply not up to the task you've been assigned.

Am I seeing this right, or is a total surrender actually imminent here? 😁😁

P.S. It’s pretty clear that the cultists aren't slowing down one bit—even though their "maestro" has been effectively dormant for years now. To everyone's misfortune, of course, so seeing this level of devotion is nothing short of a miracle. 🙏 tibi - gentleman 🙏🙏

is something the fans just can't seem to wrap their heads around—they've been blind to it for years. Honestly, they could probably start a fan club called "The Mole Society" at this rate and nobody would notice the deception.🤣

Look, if hala ako RB actually manages to outpace Mečka in terms of pure car performance and raw speed, then having a guy like Ricc is basically a massive bonus for Vettel—a gift wrapped in gold.☕
zakaj ??? What kind of nonsense are you talking about?
Because, plain and simple, when Ricc has a decent car, he’s more than capable of consistently beating the Mercedes drivers...
So, looking at the margin of victory, the difference because of him is +10 instead of +7... and once you factor in Hamilton, we're talking a +13 gap compared to Rosberg.☕

As for Vettel, the fact that he *has* to beat Ricc to prove himself is actually a blessing in disguise. If he can pull it off, great. If he can't? Well, then he doesn't deserve the title anyway.

Here is a quick look from the Mercedes camp regarding the technical nightmare they dealt with today:

Mercedes-Benz reported that a "failure in the high-voltage control electronics caused a total loss of MGU-K drive for both cars during today's race."

"Both cars ran into trouble during the same lap," explains Toto Wolff. "Once Lewis Hamilton pitted—given the nature of the stop—the brake temperatures spiked uncontrollably, and he lost them. Nico Rosberg managed to save the day with an incredible drive.

"We were aware that the brakes could be a weak point, but this specific situation arose because losing the MGU-K puts significantly more strain on the braking system. And with the rise in temperatures in the pits you end up having a real problem."

Regarding whether the team might implement team orders to prevent the drivers from overstressing the machinery, Toto Wolff noted: "We can certainly talk about whether team orders make sense. Up until this point, we've stuck to our core philosophy.

"Our two drivers performed flawlessly. You could argue that a freezing order might have helped the final result, but that isn't our style, nor is it what the fans want to witness."

Quote: Mercedes chief Niki Lauda says the team had an "overheating issue" during the race, though at this stage, they "don't quite understand the cause."

Lauda added: "The brake issues hit Lewis Hamilton's car, but Nico Rosberg did a phenomenal job to secure second place despite his own struggles.

"That was a true champion's performance from Nico; he had a massive mountain to climb there.

"These things happen—you aren't going to sweep every race. Our priority now is to dissect exactly what went wrong and ensure it's resolved. We will fix it."

That charming Nico continues to quietly outclass Lewis with that ice-cold composure of his.

I'm just messing with you, here 🙂

Can someone please explain what on earth happened when those Mercedes cars started dying off in perfect synchronization?
(Maybe they aren't quite the flawless machines we all thought they were—hehe 🙂)

It looks like he’s actually genuinely rooting for Ricciardo—he seemed truly happy for him. 👍

The real question is how long that's going to last. 😬

not very long 😬

He tried to overtake him twice and nearly flew off the track both times—honestly, I think that’s what should be worrying you more. ☕

And get this—there was this brilliant bit in the intro to the biography where they caught Newey sneaking toward a Mercedes-Benz, clutching his pencil and some blueprints, scanning the enemy territory like a spy.🤣 Maybe he's just messing with them now.

By the way, why is everyone sliding all over the track? Is there some new surface they laid down, or is it raining somewhere we can't see? 🤷
