The real issue is that everyone’s living under one roof, so the rest of the family—the ones without any symptoms—basically just had to go about their business all week while waiting on those test results.

However, when I reached out to my primary care physician about getting a doctor's note, she refused to issue one without a recommendation from a pediatrician first. From what I've been reading online, though, a formal recommendation shouldn't even be necessary in a situation like this.

My colonoscopy came back normal, but my liver enzymes are high, there's elevated copper in my urine, high creatinine levels, and some endom in the small intestine. You can actually see the thickening and inflammation in the small intestine, but it doesn't qualify as Crohn's. The doctors tell me it's some kind of inflammation, but they seem stumped on the actual cause or how to treat it. Has anyone else dealt with something similar?
