A mistress or an adulteress makes a conscious choice about their role. They step into something knowing exactly what the consequences might be. So, I guess they have to be ready to deal with the pain they brought on themselves.

The betrayed person didn't choose their situation or their pain. It was forced on them. They’re caught off guard, and in all that chaos, I suppose it's important they find some kind of support and comfort.

Without even attempting to weigh someone else's suffering, I just don't see any logical connection between how much someone is hurting and whether or not a topic gets revisited.

Ultimately, ZUD is absolutely packed with topics that aren't painful at all.
Is it okay to post private messages? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Daniel Ward87 said:Yeah... dealing with people spewing nonsense at the moderators is really the Administrator's call...

That said, I'm with Michelle Alvarez8—leaking private messages in public isn't right 👍. But think about this: what if the Admin drops a ban because someone sent an insulting PM to a mod, and then that user goes to the KzB complaining they have no idea why they got sanctioned? How do you prove it without showing the message? If the reason just says "due to an insulting PM," people are going to start spinning stories, claiming it's fake or demanding proof—even though the rule against sharing PMs still stands 🤷

It’s actually quite simple if you just add one tiny detail: "posting private messages is prohibited without the author's permission." And there you go—wishing everyone the best of luck. The person claiming it didn't happen will either agree to let the message be posted (and then screw themselves) or refuse to allow it (and thus screw themselves by essentially confirming the message exists in the first place).
Kyle King4 said:The whole situation with ZUD is pathetic because you don't have a single mod actually showing up to participate in those chats. Honestly, if you put in a little effort instead of making such a huge scene, they’d be back 😬

Lately, those chat rooms have just been small cliques of women hanging out. The topics have drifted away from anything related to ZUD and turned into general socializing, and frankly, having three separate chats for one sub-forum is just overkill.

How is this any different from any other forum? 🤷
It's becoming this annoying forum tradition where every year you try to migrate all the chats from a specific forum over to OFF topic. People are shocked, and honestly, they have every right to revolt 🤷
Let's be clear: on OFF topic, people are mostly starting their own threads. Nobody is being forced to be there. They end up there because they bonded on a different forum first. This whole move makes it look like OFF topic is some trash bin or a prison for "undesirables" 😁
which isn't true at all. By doing this, you're just ruining the reputation of this forum that I actually care about 😍
Sorry for the rant 😁

Here's an idea: just tempt one of the mods into being an adulteress, and voila! 😁
Jose White18 said:"...lately, these chats have been seeing much smaller groups of women hanging out, where conversations have shifted toward social topics that aren't exclusively about ZUD—and honestly, having three separate chats is just too much for one sub-forum..." Everything regarding this was already explained here. I really don't see what part of that is unclear or why more details would help. It's pretty obvious that for certain people, no explanation will ever be good enough.

...aside from the most vital and glaringly obvious point: why exactly are three chats considered "way too many" for one subforum? Is the poor subforum suffering from mental anguish? Does it have insomnia or trouble concentrating?

I would truly love to see just one logical reason behind this. As it stands, the whole thing feels like someone stomping into a sandbox to smash sandcastles simply because they have two extra layers—which, apparently, is a big no-no.
Carl Robinson6 said:So, the moderators still haven't gotten back to me regarding what role the mistress actually played in those arguments between the betrayed and the adulteresses. And why we’ve been lumped in with the group that was supposedly "trading insults, filing mutual complaints, and threatening lawsuits."

When you take a moment to actually think about it—honestly—on one Topic, the conversation was almost entirely focused on "Household Management," while another was dedicated to "Everything You’ve Ever Wanted to Know About Sex"—but this particular thread? It’s mostly just on-topic misery.

Nanny - hold on, let me jot down received complaints regarding arrogance. 😁
Maria Brown5 said:Man, why are you acting so high and mighty? 🤣

Hold on, let me make a note of this: an offense for arrogance—that's a +1 in my book. 😁
Maria Brown5 said:Yeah, you're right. I agree.
That comparison to sanitation workers is pretty spot on. But I guess, is the solution to move those people who litter, along with their neighbors who constantly report them (instead of just picking up a scrap of paper themselves), to a different city? 🤷

Wait, let me just jot this down: for everyone who didn't bother to read my entire post from start to finish—consider this a +1. 😁
Maria Brown5 said:All those long-winded explanations from the moderators basically boil down to one thing: It's hard for us to moderate

Maybe it’s just easier to pull three "difficult" topics from the PDF rather than dealing with lazy moderation ☕

Given how massive these topics are and how much traffic they clearly get, I guess it would be fair if someone above the moderators stepped in with a proper explanation

Errare humanum est
But honestly, one day is more than enough to make a mistake like this

Approaching this with a bit of rational energy🙂—as much as I actually possess (well, that might be an overstatement 😁)—regardless of how many disagreements I have with certain moderators, I suppose it is unfair to throw accusations of laziness at them (furthermore, my use of the word "my" here is quite generous 🤣). The reality is that they were being summoned (needlessly, if you ask me) every single time a provocateur showed up. Instead of simply ignoring the trolls, or perhaps engaging them in a verbal showdown—which, frankly, is far more effective than running to the authorities—they were essentially forced to deal with the fallout. It’s a fact that they were doing the work required of them.

It’s a somewhat blunt analogy, but it holds water: it isn't always the fault of the lazy janitors; more often than not, the blame lies with those recklessly scattering trash all over the place.

Keep writing like before (some already have). 😉 )
I honestly don't get any of you. 😕

There are essentially two ways to approach life—you see this most clearly in how people parent: the "why bother" mindset versus the "why not" attitude.

On one hand, look: why shouldn't we just keep the conversation going in the thread even if it’s been relocated elsewhere? But then again, one might equally ask why they bothered moving the thread in the first place. I suppose it's some sort of procedural thing intended for the greater good of the forum, though I personally don't see the logic behind it (not that I see any imminent collapse coming, obviously 🙂).

Should we just make ourselves at home here? 😍
Is this some kind of uniquely American style of privatization? 🤣
I can't help but feel like our messages, our wishes, and all these comments actually fit much better within our own specific themes...😂

Well, I suppose we have the terrible TV program to thank for that. 🤣
Anthony Howard33 said:Well, first of all, you're spot on there, but that whole mistress hall thread turned into a lounge room the very second the moderators themselves decided to rename it from "Hey mistresses, where are you guys?" to "Hello mistress triangle chat topic"

I mean, sure, you jump in, crack a few jokes here and there, but honestly? I still don't see the point in any of this.

I had a feeling—though perhaps I should have been more certain—that only three people would actually make it through to the final sentence of my post. 🙂
The problem, quite frankly, is that there isn't a solution.

Then again, maybe there isn't even a problem to begin with. 🙂

First off, all three threads have essentially devolved into nothing more than a group chat. They’ve taken on every single hallmark of casual chatting. In that sense—while they might seem like a refuge for those dealing with infidelity or being a mistress—they actually act as a barrier, because newcomers walk right into a room full of established regulars, and it becomes painfully obvious to them.

Secondly, if we were to implement consistent moderation, it would mean nuking a massive chunk of those pages and posts, which would just trigger another mountain of backlash.

Thirdly, a total lack of moderation would cause an equally large pile of frustration—I mean, how many times can one read that mindless, useless nonsense like "girls, squeeze the triangle"? (Nanny, please, not that triangle 🤣).

Fourthly, bringing up some supposed "ruin of Life for Two" is just hyperbolic and honestly ridiculous.

And just when the general readership—meaning, the three of you who actually made it to this sentence 🙂—thinks I’m actually endorsing this decision, here comes the twist:

I simply don't see the benefit of this move. What exactly is supposed to change overnight? What new, good, or beautiful thing is going to start happening from today onward? Is there some technical necessity behind this, or is it just some rushed attempt at "thread cleanliness" within the PDFs (sic!)?

So, looking at the pure cost/benefit analysis, this move is clearly wrong: there's no gain to be had, yet there are plenty of losses. I suspect that, while likely acting in good faith, you've made a mistake. Regardless of how dramatic the reactions are—people crying "it's the end of the world as we know it"—and regardless of how much those three topics have become stagnant and uninteresting due to a monopoly of voices, just let people have their fun.

Susan Brooks83 said:So, basically... the word. I suppose we should probably talk about the concept of a presidential pardon—though, given how things tend to spiral lately, I find myself questioning whether such an act even serves its intended purpose anymore. It’s a heavy thing, really—the power to essentially wipe the slate clean—but when it feels like it's being used as a tool for political maneuvering rather than true justice, it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. I guess it’s just one of those instances where the system feels less like a mechanism for fairness and more like a series of calculated moves by whoever happens to be holding the pen at the moment. It's messy, it's complicated, and frankly, it's exhausting to watch. And a word. Love—it’s such an abstract, messy concept, isn't it? I’ve been sitting here thinking about it—really digging into what people actually mean when they use that word—and I guess it’s more complicated than the Hallmark cards would have us believe. It isn't just some fleeting feeling or a rush of dopamine; it’s something much deeper, perhaps even more deliberate. Or maybe I'm overthinking it—that's probably a habit of mine—but there seems to be a distinction between simple affection and true, soul-deep devotion. It’s that quiet, steady kind of care that persists even when things get difficult—not just the easy, sunny days, but the grit and the struggle too. I suppose we often mistake the excitement for the actual substance, which is a bit of a tragedy, if you ask me. They actually carry two distinct meanings. ☕

I was the one who actually "introduced" this whole concept of being "caressed/loved"—and that was only after you dropped that line, "Well, why don't you be the one to caress me, then?"

Of course I understood what you were getting at—my response was really just a play on words, if you want to call it that. It was a joke. A bit of Scherzo.

I don't really follow those book complaint pdf religion files being discussed here—I mostly just drop in from time to time for my own reasons—but even so, let me offer you one unsolicited piece of advice: just relax a little. Try looking at the world through a slightly brighter lens and learn to distinguish what actually matters from what doesn't. Your posts on this forum are just so saturated with bitterness, dissatisfaction, and anger... honestly. Life is filled with far more significant and beautiful things than chasing down "justice" and rigid principles within some entirely virtual community. Even if you feel this deep-seated urge to "fix the world"—and I’m not being sarcastic when I say that—there are much better, much more productive ways and places to go about it.

It honestly breaks my heart a little bit to see someone carrying that much bitterness—it’s just... I don't know, it's heavy. When someone is that consumed by resentment, it eventually has to spill over into their actual, everyday life, right? It's inevitable.

sexual harassment toward a female user. 🙂

I'm not going to get bogged down in that specific argument, but since I've already stepped into this mess: if she really got banned because of this thread, then the whole decision is just a total failure.

placidbison20 said:Is it even necessary to show them?

"With the blessing of the admin"—well, that implies someone "higher up" actually agrees that it's necessary.

Of course they exist, just like there are user posts that deserve punishment.

Where on earth did you get the idea that it's "obvious" that moderator posts can be punishable???

Since moderators aren't selected via some random Saturday night lottery—they're presumably chosen based on actual criteria—I just cannot wrap my head around the logic of equating what we expect from a moderator with what we expect from an average user. It is quite interesting to me that you are already the second moderator trying to steer the conversation toward whether or not things should be punished, whereas—in my opinion—it is far more important to argue that a moderator simply shouldn't be writing such things in the first place.
