It’s a shame it won't be playing in IMAX—that would have been the way to actually experience it as a real concert. Otherwise, most of the Metallica fans who caught the film seemed pretty stoked.

Watched it last night on my new TV setup—first time seeing it in ages. I’m a bit confused by two specific scenes, though; it feels like I missed them before. At the start, Gibson takes out some psycho sniper who's just spraying bullets everywhere, and then halfway through, he picks up some young girl in his car and takes her home to watch a movie. Is this a director's cut, or am I just being thick?

These are always my favorites—she climbs up on someone's shoulders and then there’s the rest of the crowd behind her, maybe 15 people who actually paid for their tickets, unable to see a thing because of some princess and her boyfriend carrying her around. It just happened at a Metallica concert; the crowd lost it. Luckily, they weren't standing right in front of me, or I might have been tempted to take out both of them. 🙂

Who even are all these artists? I listen to a decent amount of music, but besides Massive Attack, I don't recognize any of these bands.🤷

At this point, it’s just an extra expense—whereas doing it this way might have been a way to kill two birds with one stone.
