I enjoyed the movie, even if the ending felt a bit overly sentimental. I think Leonard Cohen could have worked on his American accent a little more, but it wasn't a dealbreaker.
I see there is a film about Fred Hampton coming out soon, and based on the trailer, he seems like a much more compelling subject.
Would it be possible to change my username to Jeremy Hall4? I noticed the handle is currently taken, but the user only has 10 posts and hasn't been active since 2007.

I much prefer the 1994 version; it feels more fluid and dynamic. Plus Winona 😍
Let me know what you think once you're done. I might watch it. While Greta Gerwig didn't blow me away as a director, she seems quite capable, if not excellent, as a screenwriter. I haven't seen any previous adaptations, nor have I read the book.
The directors were a complete disaster. It looks like everything is finally lining up for Glenn Close to snag her long-overdue Oscar.
I haven't watched many movies or series this year. Of the ones I have seen, Rami Malek definitely earned his win, even if the movie itself wasn't anything special—I suppose that's just how this awards season is shaping up.
I'm happy for the Americans and for Patricia Clarkson from Sharp Objects.
I’m really looking forward to this one as well. I’ve always been a fan of Felix van Groeningen, and Steve Carell has proven he can be truly exceptional when tackling more serious roles...

An hour and a half of fun is plenty. In my opinion, this runs far too long.
Only seven competitors even made it to the starting line 31 miles (this is actually the first time it’s been included in the World Championships), and only four managed to finish the race.
For some reason, the long-distance races at recent major championships have been incredibly slow. It seems to favor the tactical runners who prioritize a fast finish over raw pace.
