The Max Payne movie was total garbage, and honestly, the Hitman flick isn't exactly anything to write home about either.
WHY EVEN MAKE A MOVIE BASED ON A GAME IF IT HAS ZERO CONNECTION TO THE ACTUAL SOURCE MATERIAL???
A Hitman movie should actually feel like the game—I mean, why even bother using the title and the main character's name if you're just gonna ignore everything else!!!
The movie needs to show how the ICA actually operates and include some cool mechanics for taking out targets as a Silent Assassin without anyone ever catching on.
But then again, the new Hitman is a trash game—seriously, Hitman is out here saving some cloned little girl🙄 WTF???
Finally sat down to watch it, and honestly? It’s just classic Luc Besson through and through. Just 85 minutes of pure, unadulterated nonsense.😛 WHAT I ABSOLUTELY LOVE ABOUT THIS GUY IS HOW HE HANDLES PLOT HOLES!
1. He realizes the kid has a boyfriend, so he shows up at the house to teach her how to drive—then suddenly, later in the movie, she’s tearing through the streets like a pro driver from Top Gear despite having zero driving experience. Besson’s logic is basically... hmm... screw it, she'll just drive like a total badass.🙏
2. In almost any other movie, a .50 cal would blow everything to pieces, but here? Not even a scratch. But hey, whatever, he and his daughter manage to punch through a full military blockade—and we're talking US Marines here, not some ragtag militia—so how does he protect her while he goes off to hunt people down in the middle of Istanbul? Hmm... let's see... Besson thinks about it... oh, forget it, he'll just call some tech geniuses to fix it, next scene. CUT TO:
The main guy just magically appears on the street.🙏
Stumbled onto this flick without having any expectations at all—honestly, my hands were covered in cookie crumbs so I couldn't bother messing with the remote and just let whatever was playing run. And damn, it actually turned out to be great! I had a feeling it would end on a high note, but man, I was still genuinely hooked through the whole thing.
man, I seriously can't wait—these are what real movies look like. We're talking top-tier effects, massive casts, pure spectacle... just total brain candy. Honestly, I'd much rather sink my teeth into something like this than waste my time sitting through those depressing little indie dramas and all that other crap.
If we actually sat down and produced an American action flick—think along the lines of *Saw* or *Mission: Impossible*—shot mostly in English (with some American flavor mixed in, obviously)—would you guys actually bother showing up at the theater to see it? What counts as a good American movie to you?
But look, they aren't dropping the lineup until tomorrow—well, technically today—because honestly, there's no way anyone's finding out the starting eleven much earlier than kickoff. I’m not even sure if coaches have some strict deadline for when they have to release the roster or if they can just swap players around at the absolute last second.
The Canadians are definitely weaker than us—look, if the Swiss managed to beat us 4-2 in a friendly, then in an actual high-stakes match, they really ought to be able to take down the Canadians
1. My brother went through this—I don't know the technical jargon or whatever—but basically, they implanted lenses in his eyes. He’s on drops here and there, and he deals with headaches and eye strain from time to time. His vision is fine for the most part, though things get blurry if his eyes get too dry. The way he puts it is pretty simple: none of these surgeries are actually worth it. He only did it because he needs to go skydiving and work on offshore rigs/oil platforms. If you can just wear glasses, honestly, that's a better move than any surgery, but hey, it's your life and your call.
2. He worked at Mayo Clinic, so that's my only real experience with this stuff.
3. 🤣 Are you fucking kidding me??? Where have you been living? In this country, everyone has to pay their own way ($27 every single month even if you're unemployed), and you're sitting here expecting Medicare to just foot the bill for eye surgery?
Unless I'm completely losing my mind and don't know how things work here.🤔
Personally, my favorite part of Lethal Weapon is when Danny Glover "goes nuts" with that door—it happens right after Gibson jumps off the roof to take out that guy who's trying to kill him😁 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SVl8tJrSaio
