Lisa Miller9 said:Damn movie. The action was spot on—not too much, not too little. Tammy is still killing it, even if you can start seeing those 50-something years creeping in. The humor landed well, and Simon Pegg absolutely crushes it. The female lead is hot, and the new agent is pretty good too. The villain felt a bit weak, but honestly, who cares? That mention of America was just annoying 🙏 🙏 the final scene where his old tech guy, that Black dude, shows up 🙂

Damn movie. 👍

I'm totally with you on this—the movie is absolute fire. Seriously, everything from the cast to the action sequences was spot on, and man, that humor? Perfection. 😂Listen, locations matter. Seriously. 🙏 Powerful.
The only real downside is that those BMWs show up out of nowhere—but honestly, an i8 is exactly the kind of ride you’d see in a Mission: Impossible movie, and seeing BMWs all over the place around the Arabs isn't even surprising at this point. (By the way, was that the 650i or the 640i?) 😁Honestly, I find those car commercials tucked into movies so incredibly stupid. Like, give me a break.
It’s like that guy in a Bond film—driving a Montego, then you see the woman in a Ford Flex later on. 🤦
Mostly MI4 — ABSOLUTELY KILLER!!!
Lethal Weapon 1-4 in Movies ·
Thomas Peterson5 said:Caught Lethal Weapon 4 on a new TV set last night—first time seeing it in ages. Honestly, two scenes totally tripped me up, like I've completely missed them before: right at the start, Mel Gibson takes out some psycho sniper who's just spraying bullets everywhere, and then halfway through, he picks up some young girl in his car and heads home to watch a movie. Is this some kind of director's cut or am I just being an idiot?

😉 yeah, I'm wondering the same thing
hm, how should I put this—yeah, they did, but not exactly in a straight line. Still, he knew damn well what he was signing up for from the jump.
Yeah, stress is an absolute killer. Honestly, if you’ve been losing weight because of it, you need to deal with that ASAP—get ahead of it before it turns into gastritis, thyroid issues, or just a whole mess of other crap. I get it, getting rid of stress isn't some easy fix, but you’re better off tackling it now while you're still healthy rather than waiting until things go south and you're forced to deal with the fallout later.

Good luck 🙂
I'm honestly just sick of dealing with all these health issues at home—my family doesn't really take any of it seriously anyway.

😕
Wait, what?

That's a lot. What have the doctors actually said about it?
Have you thought about hitting up a private clinic? I know it's pricey, but you can't put a price on your health. I hadn't gotten my eyes checked in forever, so I went to a private specialist last year instead of using my local hospital, and man, the difference was night and day.
Yeah, it’s doable—my brother actually went through it.

So, they drill four holes, pump stuff in around there... basically, it's a whole ordeal. You're totally out of it right after the surgery. My brother was doing alright post-op, but his eyes were stinging like crazy, and he had this weird black spot show up in his left eye and everything. At the follow-up, the docs just brushed it off saying it’s all totally normal. It's been two months now, and his vision is mostly fine, though the scar on his left eye is being a real pain and making things look a bit blurry sometimes. His eyes sting occasionally too. He's swapped out his eye drops a few times over these last two months and has headed back to the clinic for checkups a couple of times.

His eyes look pretty standard to me, and he's back to driving, but it's not perfect yet. He’s got another follow-up in a month to see how things are settling—fingers crossed it all works out, damn it.
Our local hospitals in Health ·
The hospitals here are honestly a joke—the conditions are terrible—but I gotta give credit to the nurses because they really went above and beyond. They were the only ones actually trying. The doctors aren't half bad, but let’s be real: the whole system is just completely broken.
Take my experience at the local community clinic, for example. In just eighteen months, they’ve cycled me through three different primary care doctors. The worst part is that the second one was actually great, and now I'm back to square one with someone mediocre. On top of that, the hours are all over the place—it used to be morning shifts, but now it's hit or miss between mornings and afternoons, and soon they'll probably switch to afternoon hours on Mondays and Wednesdays and mornings for the rest. And don't even get me started on having to make appointments now.🤦
Back when that second doctor was still there, the clinic stayed open until 1 PM and you could get everything done lightning fast. You’d just walk in, tell the doctor what was going on, and boom—done. No annoying appointment needed, no messing around with the nurse, just easy. It sucks that they ruined such a good setup.😢

Honestly, this is easily one of the best movies ever made
American 2011 in Movies ·
Look, it’s just your standard action flick—fun to watch, nothing more, nothing less. What else are you even looking for? 🤷

I actually dig 👍

It’s just classic Luc Besson style😍

Little girl turns into an assassin and starts taking people out—stuff like that—it works for me😁

Btw, I was messing around with Google and this forum's search tool but couldn't find a thread on this movie—my bad if I missed it
Seems like it’ll be a solid one—honestly, I dig pretty much all the MI movies—but man, these constant car commercials are driving me absolutely insane. This is gonna be just another BMW flick, kind of like how the Iron Man Audi thing happened or how Hawaii Five-O was basically a Chevrolet commercial... seriously, what a joke.
Mickey Rourke in Movies ·
man, he was actually pretty cool in Iron Man 2 and totally nailed his part with The Expendables crew
man, that movie was peak character work—Ridley is basically the law when it comes to this stuff.

I'm seriously just sitting here waiting on the sequel.
found it in the US 🙂
Where in the States can I pick up some printing paper like this:

Just standard A4—actually, let's call it Letter size since we're here—around 80gsm stuff (like a 500-sheet pack for maybe 25-$10 bucks) but I need it thicker so I can run double-sided prints without it being a total mess—160gsm would be the sweet spot
So, I'm not talking about that overpriced glossy photo paper or any of those fancy boutique stocks for art projects—just plain, heavy-duty paper that can handle being printed on both sides without bleeding through everything

-- paper type/quality, pick photo printing - borderless,--

That’s the trick—I couldn't even find the borderless option because I had standard paper selected. It only shows up once you switch the settings to high-quality photo paper.

thanks
can you go into more detail 🙂

but how am I supposed to do that in Microsoft Word? I've already spent forever getting this whole document looking perfect

thanks
My bad to the mods if this actually belongs over in the Microsoft thread!
I've got an Epson DX4450

and I'm trying to get this document printed out using Microsoft Word 2010.

Here’s the deal,
I have this image set as the background for my text, and I need it to print edge-to-edge. I've already messed around with a bunch of settings—like setting all the margins to zero and stuff—but even though the image looks like it covers the whole page on my screen, once it actually hits the paper, there’s always this annoying 3mm white border around all four sides.

And honestly, the same thing happens even when the image isn't acting as a background.

How do I fix this?

Also, what kind of paper is best for double-sided printing? I don't care about fancy photo quality or anything, just looking for something thick enough so the text from one side doesn't bleed through to the other.

Thanks.🙂
Jewish actors and directors in Hollywood in Movies ·
Jews run the world—Henry Ford saw right through it a long time ago.

btw, Henry Ford was one of only two guys ever to get one of those special orders from Hitler.
