rustydrifter10 said:See, you knew this was coming. I’ve been going back and forth with you for months now, but honestly, nothing ever actually changes.

Look, the decision regarding partial credit didn't just pop out of thin air today or yesterday; that was just when everything finally went through. It’s already been brought up with you, and honestly, you didn't even seem shocked by it. We don't hand out partial credit based on one single post or a handful of comments here, so there's no way a couple of posts could be the reason it's being denied. It all comes down to your entire body of work and what you've actually contributed to the PDF, which is exactly how we evaluated your situation too.

Yeah, I honestly thought the crew behind that PDF would finally start making some sense, but apparently, I was dreaming.

Look, rustydrifter10, there’s nothing you can really do about your situation, and honestly, that’s fine. It is what it is. Just had a quick technical question for you though, since I can't even pull up a quote from that PDF.

Larry Rivera83 said:1. Look, this person just constantly trolls whenever the Los Angeles Angels come up, and for some reason, the crowd of die-hard haters doesn't mind—they actually love it when they troll the Angels (!), seriously...
2. If you don't know what's going on, just stay out of it, please.

3. Basically, we put up with them for a whole year, gave them advice, let them apologize a bunch of times, and we forgave them, but they just wouldn't listen...

1. I've never been trolling, unless you count stating an opinion that happens to clash with what the majority thinks as trolling.

2. You don't need to be an expert to see how I'm being picked on by the crowd as a lone individual here.

3. And honestly, it hasn't even been a year, it’s been about six months; you guys told me to stop having my own opinions, and I kept hoping you'd eventually change and just accept me for who I am, and look, I've forgiven you all because you've pretty much insulted me constantly—even though I have NEVER once insulted you—and yeah, I really wasn't going to follow your advice and just lose my sense of self, because I won't.

2. Honestly, Henry Hernandez7 hasn't contributed a single useful thing to the US Soccer board since he showed up.

3. I still can't get over those brainless, idiotic takes he was dropping in the regional league thread. 🤦

4. I don't think people like him belong in any soccer discussion, and there are others like him who really ought to be kicked out because their whole purpose seems to be wrecking debates, jumping in with garbage arguments, and just annoying anyone trying to have a normal conversation.

1. We can't ban him, we can only quote him, and hey, it's a forum for God's sake.

2. That's just a subjective opinion. Besides, what exactly have you contributed to this board?

3. The regional league thread is a great place to pitch ideas, even if you happen to disagree with them. That's literally why forums exist.

4. From what I see—and I think most people agree once they actually think about it—what are you even doing here? Do you even understand the point of an online community?
Let me enlighten you a bit. Try presenting an actual reasoned opinion for once. But since you're as narrow-minded as 90% of the guys on this board, you seem to think that participating in a discussion means you're forced to support "something" just because it doesn't align with your own vision.

Ryan Nguyen47 said:hey Henry Hernandez7, they tried to screw me over too, just messing with people's heads for no damn reason

Thanks for having my back, man!

I don't really let it get to me, though. It’s basically a one-track mind operation over there, and there’s just no room for someone like me in their little dictatorship-style rulebook.

It seems like their only way to keep things quiet is to shut everyone down so they don't have to actually deal with anyone bringing real arguments to the table.

I mean, I wasn't even sweating it, because I knew you guys didn't have a single shred of evidence to pin anything on me.

So, since you're calling me a troll, why don't you explain exactly what I did wrong to the whole damn community?
Soccer halftime score in Feedback & Suggestions ·
So, where are the counterarguments to all that stuff I just laid out? And while we're at it, what exactly was the deal with this partial ban—to be blunt, which specific post was supposedly "crossing the line"?

Alex Cook said:1. For a while now, every single thing you post on the US Soccer boards seems to act like a massive red flag for the handful of guys who haven't blocked you yet, mostly because you just drop these one-liner jabs and snarky comments without actually backing them up with anything real.
2. You end up baiting people into getting pissed off, which usually just leads to them insulting you.

3. Look, you write how you write—clearly you can't change it, and nobody's asking you to—but the way you talk makes it impossible for this soccer sub to offer anything worth reading.

4. Later.

5. And before you say "no arguments."

1. My posts get unfairly labeled as being hostile toward the progress of our sport, when really I'm just pushing for what we actually need—a total REVOLUTION.

2. Of course, those people are just saboteurs trying to keep things messy, while anyone actually trying to fix the chaos in American soccer is stuck in the crosshairs.

3. Honestly, just look at the facts: I’m the only one here who doesn't engage with you guys on the soccer threads, even though I talk perfectly fine with normal people in every other discussion on the site.

4. Since when does "later" have to be the closing line?

5. What is that even supposed to mean?

I'm not doing the whole polite sign-off thing until we sort out this ridiculous situation and this stupid way of parting ways.

Look, this was obviously bound to happen eventually, but I’d really appreciate a straight answer as to why I got partially banned today—especially since I was just jumping into discussions without trolling, keeping things honest and civil, so if you could just tell me why instead of giving me some canned list of reasons, that would be great.

Alright, walk me through it then. What exactly did I do to this football squad, or to you specifically, to deserve all that?

Daniel Ward87 said:Those warnings were earned. Saying stuff like "Why are you even stressing about this?" or "Stop talking nonsense..." is a perfectly valid reason to get flagged since that kind of talk is totally useless and adds zero value to the discussion.

You’re entitled to feel like you didn't deserve any of those strikes, just like I’m entitled to feel like you belong on a bench in the NFL. Honestly, the mods over there probably deserve a participation trophy for their efforts.

1. I wrote those things in the spirit of the moment, and honestly, they actually help move the discussion along.

2. Hey, it's your call and your power.

3. The only moderator on that list who isn't a complete headache is Charlie, and that's strictly because he doesn't hand out strikes for every little joke or quip—he just deletes stuff, which I think is a bit much anyway, but compared to the rest of the mod team, he's great.

So, if you want to slap me with a ban, go ahead, but just know it’s unjustified. I’ve been participating in these threads as a fan hoping for a bright future for my team, but until I see that kind of vision from the people posting here, all I see is people doing their club a massive disservice. By the way, my first post on that PDF was in the most popular thread, which is this one:

www.espn.com/football/thread/692171

So my contribution to that document is pretty decent, especially considering how many replies my posts actually triggered and how much debate they sparked; I know my input wasn't for nothing.

What really gets me is that the moderators' justifications for the strikes are—to put it lightly—a total disaster. Especially when it comes to The Edge.

rustydrifter10 said:Henry Hernandez7, look, the moderator already laid out exactly why they decided that account was just a clone of yours—the evidence is all right there. There’s really no point in dragging this out or repeating the same arguments over and over again. To be honest, I didn't even realize you had dropped that many posts because I didn't catch that it was a brand-new registration. My bad on that one, but I wouldn't change a single thing about the mod's decision.

Look, rustydrifter10, I get the whole clone situation, it's just frustrating getting hit with three strikes without anyone actually giving me a real reason why. I didn't earn a single one of those, so being sent to the corner feels a bit much.
Just to be clear, when I went after the admin team, I wasn't aiming at you; you're pretty much the only one here actually trying to answer people and point out mistakes, whether it's the mods or the regular users.

Everyone else seems to lack that sense of responsibility, mostly just flexing their power because of their titles.

So, back on May 2nd at 8:00 PM, I posted over in the complaints section asking why I’d been slapped with two warnings totaling 70 points. You can see the thread here:

After that, I didn't get a single response, and instead, I just got hit with another penalty—a 3-day ban—even though I specifically asked for an explanation in this link:

www.forum.hr/showthread.php?t=719546

And then I get flagged for this post:

Which led to this reply from The Edge:

www.forum.hr/showpost.php?p=39254532&postcount=3

And that's it? That's the whole answer?

Then they turn around and accuse me of impersonating the "Marshall" account, claiming there's some connection there which is about as likely as it snowing in July, and the grand finale is a 7-day ban. When I reached out about it, Charlie gave me this:

Zero arguments provided. Just nothing.

Since then, I've been met with total silence for days, basically tossed aside like yesterday's trash. Honestly, I'm pretty fed up with the site administration because not a single one of my appeals has actually been addressed with any logic.

It's a simple question, really:

Why aren't you guys actually following your own rulebook?

The Edge, why didn't you give me any actual arguments?

Come on, man, stop trolling. There wasn't anything even remotely sketchy about it.
Why were my two posts deleted!? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Just wondering about this. Someone went ahead and nuked two of my posts from the soccer thread over in the "off-topic corner."

They weren't off-topic, they weren't offensive, nothing... So, what was the deal, and who actually did it?
Rezon@tor PMbox in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Got hit with a 10 out of 10 ban... just because. I’d really appreciate it if one of the Admins could weigh in on this.

Thanks.

There you go again 😍
This whole thing is just pure trolling.

I'll just use your own logic against you here.

I don't have a link because I can't prove something that isn't meant to be proven.
Basically, I "happened" to find myself at a gathering this past Saturday with a group of people who represent both the government side and local institutional investors, and we got talking about this topic, and honestly, what those investors had to say just blew my mind.
I won't dwell on it further, but your track record speaks for itself.

I think everything is pretty clear now.
It's just an unserious approach with zero actual arguments, which basically makes it spam.

If you were some verified profile with a real name who actually hangs out with that crowd, I might say "come on now", but since you're just posting anonymously 🙂
You can frame this as your opinion, but please stop trying to sell us smoke and mirrors.
The point of this forum is to exchange ideas, not to spread unverified rumors.

Look, I'm annoyed because I wasn't even spreading gossip; I was just relaying what I learned, which is the truth. For a discussion on a forum, it shouldn't even matter whether my info came from my own head or a real-life event, because as far as I know, naming names or leaking specific details is a massive violation of the rules, especially when there are trade secret documents involved. I'm not even claiming to know exactly how much truth is in what I heard; I'm just saying I was stunned by what was shared.

Since I've explained why I wasn't just jumping into a debate without cause, I expect my ban to be lifted.

This definitely doesn't warrant a ban:

I don't have a link, so I can't prove anything. But basically, I "happened" to run into some people yesterday who represent both sides of the coin—government interests on one hand and big investors on the other—and we got talking about this whole situation, and man, what those foreign investors actually think just blew my mind.
I won't get into the specifics right now, but mark my words, one day this will all come to light.
It’s not contributing to the discussion.

Sam Green73:
If you can't or won't talk about it, stop spamming the board."

So, does that mean if I don't have a URL because the person I was talking to didn't post their statement online, I'm just not allowed to share it? Does this whole forum even have a point if that's the case?

P.S: Don't go claiming I insulted you, because I didn't, though if that's how you took it (which, honestly, fair enough), then my bad, it wasn't intentional.
Rezon@tor PMbox in Feedback & Suggestions ·
You’re honestly the textbook definition of an irresponsible moderator—someone who thinks just stating they're right is enough to end the conversation.

Maybe take a page out of Nice's book; she actually takes the time to walk people through their mistakes and helps them avoid tripping up again.
You want to know the real difference between you two? It's pretty simple: she doesn't hand out penalties just for the hell of it.
