Whether I was actually in the right or not doesn't even matter; I just want to know why that user jebateled didn't get hit by the Ban Hammer for doing the exact same thing I did.
Look, I'm not denying that I haven't been hit by the Ban Hammer, nor have I been getting any special treatment here.
But my point was about why another user on this Subreddit didn't get slapped with the same punishment I did, and honestly, it feels like I’ll be waiting until Judgment Day to actually get an answer to that.
And now you're trying to lean on me with threats of a permanent ban or a partial one? Come on, give me a break. Just because you've got the moderator tools doesn't mean you need to act like you're looking down on everyone.
I’m putting this out there because I’ve honestly started feeling the effects of a total breakdown in basic communication lately.
Basically, I try to lay out a logical, reasoned argument regarding why certain people get perks while others don't, but I never get an actual, reasoned response back. Just nothing.
From what I understand, censorship isn't supposed to be a thing here.
So, once I've laid all the facts on the table, I have to ask:
What’s even the point of filing an appeal against the Ban Hammer???
So, I noticed one of my posts on the "regional league" thread over on the soccer forum got nuked last night. Realized it was gone today, so I just rewrote it—slightly different wording this time. Anyone know who did that and WHY?
I think it actually got nuked because I can't find the posts I wrote in that thread anywhere in my archive. Either the whole topic was moved somewhere else, or someone just went through and scrubbed my two comments specifically.
Richard James2 said:Sure, you managed to do that, fair enough. But let’s be real: just being a mindless copy-paste machine doesn't make you someone worth debating. Personally, I think—and hey, maybe I'm wrong here—that you're either just padding your post count or you have this burning desire to nail something on this board that looks interesting to you, despite having zero actual stance or expertise on the subject. Again, you and posts like yours aren't "discussion starters" simply because they even made it onto the board. If that's the case, what's the point of a forum? We might as well just scroll through news portals and call it a day. Adios.
Look, you don't need to take this personally. Your style really grinds my gears—you have this constant, blatant disregard for the rules—but that doesn't mean I’m going to start cursing you out or telling you where to go every time I see your username pop up. 😁
Henry Hernandez7, look, you don't need to be the spice in every single dish.
Just like the title says. Basically, I didn't even start this thread myself—some other guy on the forum did. I can't even remember his handle or what the actual topic was, but it was all about how two of the ministers in this administration are completely useless.
If I could actually peek at everyone's private notes, I’d love to know what those various moderators were saying about me back when they were busy tearing me to shreds. Any chance of that?
I haven't spotted anything regarding that Trojan mentioned by Thomas Wells5, but honestly, I've been struggling just to get this forum to load properly since yesterday afternoon.
Anyone know where I can find some decent links to track the market in real-time? Looking for something solid, maybe along the lines of www.bloomberg.com?
Honestly, I’m kind of scratching my head here—seeing you, as an entrepreneur, actually acting stoked about these new tax hikes feels a little surreal. I guess it makes sense why we're all looking at you sideways, right?
Even though I’ve just been lurking and haven't really jumped into the fray on this forum yet, looking at the arguments the OP laid out, it's pretty clear a huge chunk of people are on his side. More importantly, even the ADMIN saw things were getting unfair and stepped in to set the record straight.
As far as I'm concerned, that's more than enough reason to scrap the partials.
