As for the advantage, the wolf ate it for breakfast.🤣

By the way, do you even know how long a mile actually is? Or how much distance a car covers in just ten seconds on average?

And nice call by steelmaker83 calling them "haters".
People are spending way too much energy obsessing over Alonso finishing fourth, mocking him instead of acknowledging any actual progress. It's like they think his position is some massive catastrophe. Instead of worrying about Alonso, maybe focus on the Red Bull dominance.
And why isn't anyone talking about Webber's number one status? Who's actually going to take the lead into the first turn tomorrow?

First off, let's talk about Alonso squeezing himself between those McLarens.
You have to realize we're talking about thousandths of a second here—both in front and behind. In terms of time, it's negligible, but for track position, it's huge.
In recent races, Alonso hasn't really gained anything from his starts; he tends to play it safe, which I'm totally fine with.
That's why a better starting position matters for a single spot. Especially on a track like this.
The Ferrari looks strong and capable in the early stages. We've seen both McLaren and Ferrari pull off overtakes on the Red Bulls before, even under this year's conditions. So, there's no reason to be a total pessimist right out of the gate.

What I’d really love to see is someone from the second row dive in and wedge themselves among the Red Bulls. Since Webber has a habit of messing up his starts, a lucky break could theoretically put someone right into the fight for the lead. I don't think that's a pipe dream. That's when we'll see the real hierarchy.

Save the doom and gloom for the last quarter of the race—or for after the podium ceremony, assuming Red Bull predictably cruises to another win.

Edit: One important thing—how much distance is there to the first corner? I just hope it's not some tiny 100-meter stretch like we saw in Turkey.

Give me a break, maybe we'll see a headline like that by 2016.........

Vitaly Petrov, Pastor Maldonado, Heikki Kovalainen, Nick Heidfeld.... nobody is giving us a fighting chance 🙂
Nadan is banking on Kamui Kobayashi's points and a struggling Mercedes...

Jacob Fox6 said:See, I didn't experience it quite that way. 🙂 That’s why that scene is just pure genius to me. You see so many movies where people break up or make up, but this hits different. It’s brilliant because he still loves her. Like you said, a definitive breakup usually happens when the love is gone, but that's not the case here.

He didn't just show up to tell her it's over. He went there to show her exactly who is walking away... if you catch my drift... 🙂 😍
That’s what makes this film so big, showing a level of character that's worth more than all the money in the world, something you just can't buy. That's the beautiful contrast in the story.

He approached her as someone standing above the situation; he gave this speech about integrity, basically telling her where she stands without saying it directly; he showed her that while this was her choice and he accepts it, it's just not enough for him.

Because he wants what he described in his "monologue"—basically, the woman she used to be, which she just proved she isn't anymore. Or is she? 😉 Knowing he already knows the answer, he signs those papers right in front of her, and to me, that scene of humiliation—masterfully done without being crude or low—is something I don't think I've ever seen before. 😉

The guy gives her this lecture that isn't your typical lecture, delivered with such incredible grace and style, and even while he's clearly still in love, he points out the flaw in her that forces him to sign those papers... proving that marriage needs more than just love, it needs character—it needs wholeness. Such a genius moment. Truly genius... it’s the moment the whole movie really comes together for me 🙂

I understand your perspective, but he was trying to recapture that spark they once had, whereas she wasn't. She really should have tried to empathize with his position and imagined herself in his shoes.

He told her plainly: "It's not that he's a better man; he just has more money."

If I were her, I’d want him to know that once he realizes that, there is absolutely no coming back for him...

It was an incredible film that actually managed to stir up a whole mess of emotions in even me—you can call me "Ice" 😁........

Still, if I were dreaming in Harrison's shoes, I wouldn't be taking him back at the end, especially after that speech and the way she signed those divorce papers........that would have been a definitive "bye bye baby" from my side.......I think she finally proved what she's made of 🤷

That was just some mindless nonsense he wrote, suggesting that Mark Webber should just clinch a title and then walk away from Formula 1 like...

Sebastian Vettel lets Mark Webber past during the final lap, but then everything goes sideways when Fernando Alonso slams into the wall on the far side of the track. Vettel catches the chaos on his monitor, loses his head, and lunges right into Mark during those last few turns... Then Lewis Hamilton charges through the wreckage to snatch the championship. It's over.☕

I’m inclined to agree, he absolutely earned it.....

I have a feeling someone is about to pull the trigger on Alonso. Honestly, it’s about damn time. We saw Vettel take out Button, Lewis Hamilton, Mark Webber, and even Nico Rosberg... So, what are we waiting for, Grandpa? This is Ford after all. 😬

It’s basically Nick Heidfeld squared.

Even if Kamui Kobayashi were to receive an offer from another team, I honestly believe he’s locked in with Switzerland for next year. He doesn't strike me as the kind of guy who would just walk away from the people who gave him his big break in Formula 1—and I'm talking about a full season here, not just a couple of races, even though he would have been driving for Toyota if they hadn't pulled out...

The bottom line for this entire race is simple—it all comes down to Kamui 🙏🙏🙏

and honestly, it’s a brilliant move on their part, though it wouldn't hurt if Alonso swapped out the engine too, especially since the forecast is calling for rain during the race.
A ten-place penalty is practically meaningless when you're dealing with a wet race, where everything just becomes a complete toss-up. The only real danger is at Turn 1, where someone might slide right into the wall like Rubens did back in Belgium 🤣🤣

Thinking back to Cvjetković...🙏
