in my humble opinion, giving the power of reporting to the general users is a complete failure of the forum's design.

In my entire time on this site, I have never reported anyone. I still carry this leftover mindset from school where only losers do that. It’s such a pathetic, snitch-like move. Like, "Oh, I'm going to go tell the teacher on you!" And as we all know, those types usually end up digging their own graves anyway.

The new chat is a complete joke. They took the playground away from the professional complainers and handed it over to a bunch of toddlers. It's no surprise who ends up getting punished. Even though I think reporting people is a bottom-tier move, it’s just... pointless and ugly.

So, I headed out today thinking I was finally getting into the holiday spirit, but clearly, the Christmas season wasn't feeling me. Instead, I ended up at some sketchy dive bar near the Sava Bridge with a friend. 😳 Honestly though, it was still a vibe. There'll be plenty more holiday markets to hit later.
Once I got home, I stumbled upon some absolutely unhinged article on Facebook, which totally ruined my mood and sent me straight to this forum. Everything here is just so much better—peaceful vibes, lovely little details, the whole works.

But damn, I just realized what I actually meant. I wasn't even thinking about anyone else; I was just being self-absorbed. 😢

The swastika eventually became this infamous, tainted symbol. A cross, on the other hand, stays a symbol of Christianity regardless of the bad stuff people have done under its name—it isn't defined by those actions, whereas the swastika is forever stained. So, my platelet count is acting up again—this happened about five years ago too. My latest labs show 462, when the upper limit is supposed to be 424, and my K-MPV came back at 6.6 (normally it’s 6.8-10.4). Should I actually be sweating this? My white blood cell count is also hovering right at the edge at 9.9 (range is 3.4-9.7).

Also, does any of this fall under the umbrella of anemia? I'm wondering if I should be popping some supplements because my iron levels have always been pretty low. Right now, my hemoglobin is 129 (119-157) and my iron is sitting at 9 (8-30). Is there any chance the platelets and the iron stuff are linked? I read somewhere that they might be.

You’ve been whining about this ever since we brought on Alex—who, by the way, is a killer mod—so I don't get why you're still digging at the fact that six women are handling the moderation here.

Moderation isn't about targeting someone based on their gender; it's about what they actually say. The post you're bringing up was just saying that if you don't want kids, you should handle your own contraception (which doesn't care about gender), while you were heading in a totally different direction. It has absolutely nothing to do with whether a woman wrote a flagged post or a guy got a yellow card. None of us are being biased here, and if anyone's worried, they can always take it to the higher-ups—who, by the way, happen to be women too—but trust me, that doesn't make their moderation any less fair or effective. 😉

If you check the "Closed Topic" thread, the reasoning is laid out right there—the original poster had barely even contributed more than two posts, so it never really turned into a productive conversation. It’s pretty obvious the OP just wants to play the victim and act like a thorn in the moderators' side... honestly, these mods hand out bans for every little thing, but now they’ve finally decided to step up and lock entire threads. Not to mention how some of them actually suggested I seek psychiatric help before... and now, suddenly, my threads with dozens of high-quality posts don't meet "forum standards" anymore...🍿
And don't even get me started on how there are basically only a handful of active threads on the whole site, yet there are five different mods hovering over them.
