Personally, I thought Hellboy II was one of the better ones. But yeah—agree on Daredevil and Rider...

Wow, took you a whole month to figure that out? Real sharp. 😲 Of course he’s made up—we're talking about a vampire here 😂—but the legend itself is loosely based on Vlad Tepes, who was actually a real guy.

Seriously, there isn't even anything worth debating here, is there?😛🙂
Maybe you skipped statistics in high school or college—clearly you don't get how polls actually work. The poll itself is fine; just because there isn't much to argue about doesn't mean it's broken.

Then enlighten us. Give us something interesting. 🤷
Enough with the off-topic nonsense. I read somewhere they're filming a biopic about Dracula—starring Christian Bale himself—and it's going to be based on Dracula as an actual historical figure.☕

Look, nobody's saying we need to reinvent the wheel here, but let's be real—these polls have been chewed over so many times that the basic ground rules are basically set in stone already. So... what's the actual harm in just polishing them up a bit? It’s not like we're starting from scratch. Besides, everyone pretty much agrees at this point: if you don't have a poll option, it's just straight-up spam. And don't even get me started on that...Look, what’s on the table is what’s on the table... you just gotta cast your vote and deal with it. I mean, that’s exactly why they started shutting down those polls in the first place...
Fine, but I think the whole thread is being misunderstood. What's there to debate regarding a poll? How many movies featured a certain actor? That's not the point. I don't think the poll should even be the main focus—the discussion should stay on the actual films where Dracula appears. The poll should just be a side note. Honestly, polls *should* be kept like this—brief, simple, and without all the extra fluff.
I mean, seriously... the guy set up his poll the way he did, so what? He put the movie descriptions a bit lower down—it would’ve been cooler if he’d tossed in a few pictures, but he decided against it. Personally, I think the poll is fine. There’s really no point in making a huge deal out of nothing 🤷
Coppola's Dracula from 1992. It’s easily the most faithful to the original source out of anything I've seen—period. You get the horror, the mystery, the fantasy, the drama... it’s all there and wrapped up perfectly. Plus, the 19th-century atmosphere? Unbeatable.
It’s not exactly a horror or a thriller—more like a supernatural fantasy with plenty of witchcraft. 😁 Set deep in the Early Middle Ages, it tackles the whole King Arthur, Merlin, and Knights of the Round Table thing, but does it in this incredibly dark way... which honestly feels right for the era.
It’s getting pretty hard to actually scare me lately—nothing really hits anymore... but honestly, if a horror movie is actually well-made, I don't care what kind of "monsters" they throw at you: ghosts, slashers, demons, zombies... I was terrified of The Langoliers when I was a kid, and I actually dreamed about them the other night and got spooked, so there... 😁The only thing that never worked on me was that whole Victorian horror vibe—vampires, werewolves, mummies, all that stuff
Dennis Sullivan46 said:If you look at Constantine as just a standalone movie, it’s great—but as an adaptation? It’s a disaster.
I’m halfway with you there—my main gripe was how bad the adaptation felt. But I can't call the movie "great"... it feels like they wanted to make this gritty, dark flick about an anti-hero, but they lacked the guts to actually commit. Instead, they Hollywood-ized the whole thing to play it safe for the masses, so now it just ends up being mediocre across the board. Imagine how good this could've been if they actually stuck to the source material...
Kevin Perez2 said:Please...😲Molly Muse😲Ghost Rider is actually a great movie—it’s definitely not trash. Honestly, you just don't know how to spot a real film when it's right in front of you... terrible.🙄
God, you're right—how could I have even said that? I honestly have no clue...
