Honestly, it feels like ages since he got banned. I think enough time has passed for him to really learn his lesson, realize where he went wrong, and figure out how to play by the rules moving forward.

Look, nobody is making excuses for the stuff Mamin did that landed him a permanent ban, and we aren't saying the mods made the wrong call by kicking him out. But I’m convinced—and I think pretty much everyone here on the F1 forum agrees—that if the guy were given one more shot, he’d actually behave himself. I truly believe there wouldn't be any more issues.

Even though most of us on this F1 board disagree on pretty much everything else, this is actually the one thing we’re all on the same page about. Well... okay, there’s one guy who’ll probably argue just to be contrarian, and it's only a matter of time before he shows up with some screenshot "proof" of Mamin's alt accounts... 🤣

And speaking of those alt accounts, a huge chunk of them were just Mamin trying to beg for an unban because he couldn't post on the main boards anymore. From what I’ve seen over the last year, those pleas weren't even insulting anyone; he was just being humble and asking the admins for a way back into the community.

Those attempts actually show how badly he wants to be part of the action again and get back to posting on this forum we all love. I really doubt he’d blow this final chance if he got it, especially after seeing how many of us have stepped up to stick our necks out for him.

And it's not like just any random trolls are sticking up for him... Sure, we all have our moments, but the people advocating for him here are mostly regulars who have rarely, if ever, been banned in their entire time on the site. We aren't just a bunch of trolls looking for a partner-in-crime to cause chaos with.

I agree with what others have said: maybe start him off with limited access, like just the football section (or maybe other sports), which is where he caused the most trouble and eventually got banned anyway. Since he mostly hangs out in the sports sub-forums, I doubt he’d cause any headaches in the other sections where he almost never posts.

I really hope our requests carry some weight and the admins listen to what the users in this thread are saying by giving Mamin one last chance. If he blows it, I doubt any of us will bother defending him again. And honestly, the best part is that banning him again would be easy... just a few clicks and he's gone.
