Gerald Jackson48 said:After this, you can rest easy knowing I won't be passing your OnlyFans link along to the guys and girls over at the Bensonhoist lesbian choir.

Besides, there are plenty of photos floating around online if I just search for Peter Steele's anatomy, so I really don't see the need... ☕

Gerald Jackson48 said:Forget about who suggested what for a second; all this really means is that the whole scene has reached that mature stage where you have to start throwing in extra activities just to avoid running dry on content, though honestly, this topic hasn't been suffering from much emptiness so far. It’s kind of like a typical American marriage hitting that seven-year itch... Anyway, you should probably check out Bloody Kisses by TON if you haven't already. It’s pure gothic rock and industrial vibes, and Peter Steele really leveled up his lyricism here; they even did a great job with that cover of the Seals & Croftsov hit Summer Breeze, and those background vocals from that lesbian choir over at Bensonhoist are like the cherry on top of this musical sundae.

Boring album. Only the second and third tracks actually land, and then you maybe get one or two decent fillers after that.

northerndrifter42 said:My runner-up is already sitting at a 9. My top pick is an 8. The other two are just weaker, though I can't quite wrap my head around why... but whatever.

Not everyone is going to get what music means to someone like me, so don't waste your energy trying to explain it...

We should honestly organize this whole thing just like an American presidential election. First, we’d have the drummers, the rockers, the country fans, the metalheads, the punks, the jazz aficionados, the classical crowd, and everyone else pick their top five candidates locally. That would kick off our internal primaries to narrow down the field for the main album. Then, we move into a month-long campaign where everyone tries their hardest to convince the rest of us why their pick is the only one worth voting for... After that, there’d be a three-day pre-election media blackout, and then the big vote happens on a Sunday. In this system, the Album of the Week effectively becomes the Album of the Year. And, naturally, every album is strictly limited to two terms max.

Dennis Hall41 said:It isn't him—you can spot his presence immediately—but it’s me. Aside from the specific taste, the fonts, and the overall aesthetic they lean into, I’ve actually started recognizing which colleagues tend to drop their suggestions at certain times of the day... Vancha, Barib, and Jessica Morris6 are all regulars in my orbit, and I’m pretty certain I nailed Amanda Robinson4's suggestion too.

Mine is Type O Negative - Bloody Kisses (1993). How on earth did you guess that?
Retroactive filing? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
There aren't any hard and fast rules here. If someone pulls some minor, low-level nonsense, it’s just plain stupid to go handing out bans after only four or five days... But then again, if everyone somehow misses a massive violation—something truly heinous, like someone trying to hawk black-market organs online—you could justify a ban even six months down the line. It all boils down to the specific context and just how much of a disaster the offense actually was.
Why can't we request a permanent ban? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
hiddenviper22 said:Look, that’s just a password change, not an account ban.

You can request a password reset via email whenever you feel like it... it just takes a few more clicks than your usual login process, but it gets the job done. 🤷

Just swap out the email address and do the exact same thing with the password.

I have a feeling most people just default to reading from the very first new post in these threads...

Moderator or just another user? Where do we draw the line? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Jonathan Wright2 said:I'm with you on that.

The moderator’s job should be simple: step in and stop the insults, the threats, the mockery, and the constant belittling between everyone in this PDF thread...
That really should be the extent of it.

How long are you going to keep whining about Ostrić when you've personally filed like a hundred and fifty billion complaints against him? Sure, we might feel some secondhand embarrassment, but how can you not feel it yourself?...
Why were the memes deleted? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Tyler Garcia69 said:Are you actually afraid of a little humor? Even Hitler and his whole crew were terrified of a good joke when they were running things. Every single dictatorship in history has been scared of satire, which is exactly why they always try to censor it.

The latest bit of "work" being done over there is a classic: they successfully segregated the Memes topic into its own little "Skeptical Memes" corner.

I bet the moderators are feeling pretty proud of themselves for pulling that off.

No, we’re actually craving it. It's just that I personally had to tell you three or four times that you were being exhausting with all that nonsense, yet you just keep spinning in circles... and others have tried to warn you too.

...
The latest "operation" over there—they successfully split the Memes thread into its own separate section called "Skeptical memes."

How much would you bet that your constant flooding of the thread with ridiculous memes is what actually caused this segregation?
A fair amount of the provocative images in that thread aren't even funny, but you're the only one relentlessly burying everything under them.

I was actually planning on getting this thread started today, but things just didn't go my way... I’ll get it up tomorrow (which is basically still today, technically)...

It was the vote. Garofeeder doesn't have any authority here...

Other stuff gets mixed in here and there, and I do try to branch out and listen to different things, but I always seem to drift right back to that hipster vibe...😂

We really need to try and get you on the right track. As a little Christmas gift, I’m getting you a Ceca - Usher CD.🙂

Dennis Hall41 said:Honestly, I think it should just be me and Jessica Morris6 making the suggestions, because frankly, none of you have any decent taste. Now, Nathan Murphy actually knows what he's talking about, though...

Our taste is clearly superior, obviously, but I suppose there might be a few decent ideas floating around from the rest of you every now and then. Personally, I’d prefer if we didn't push the whole hipster aesthetic quite so hard, even if it isn't the absolute worst thing ever. I haven't a clue what our secret is, maybe it's because we've actually lived a little more than the rest of you... Nathan Murphy, why don't you weigh in on this? ☕

I honestly think it would be enough to just have a single tiebreaker at the start. If things end up in a deadlock later on, let random.org make the call. It would just save everyone the headache and reduce all that unnecessary back-and-forth...
