My conclusion is that there is a chronic, glaring absence of women on this subforum...
Dennis Hall41 said:That whole discussion is dead in the water, and not just because of the moderator warnings, but because he seems to think he can somehow frame me as the victim of some imaginary, phantasmagorical group encounter (context: mid-February's Album of the Week), and then try to wrap up my harmless post-structuralist trolling with lines about throwing bones, sophisticated and indescribably original trans-themed nonsense, whimpering, and some sort of animalistic motifs... basically, such a debate is destined to remain incomplete, which means from my side (carnal alert!), it's been aborted. He got a comment on a very solid, very good Jon Hassell album, and I intend to stay within a similar communicative and stylistic niche indefinitely.
Edit - I'll get back to The Moon and Antarctica tomorrow, as soon as I finish working through Hulet's discography.

I've already got the album on repeat for the third time today.

Dennis Hall41 said:Man, man, I really need to wrap up the work I've started, but damn, tonight is definitely going to be a big night for Walking Heatsa... though I'm honestly considering just staying silent and not suggesting anything else if Sinan doesn't pull off the win.

judolino As if I haven't heard enough of this already...
Let’s be real here—your post is living proof that the director of that movie was a total visionary...👍
Gerald Wood43 said:I’d heard the buzz about this movie, but I finally sat down and watched it yesterday.
Fifteen years ago, this probably would've been nothing more than bottom-of-the-barrel trash—hardly watchable. Nowadays? It feels more like a documentary, though it leans heavily into horror territory.
I actually caught a comment on YouTube claiming the whole thing is just a time traveler’s tale repackaged into a screenplay.
😁
