I’m coming for you, Fatman. 🤣 🤣 🤣

I was honestly just expecting some cheap Batman parody, but this turned out to be even better than that 🙏
I don't know what I'd even do without our Tommy
Noah Roberts46 said:Certain scenes in Requiem for a Dream are pure horror.

Yeah, thanks for the reminder. That’s pretty much the one movie I am never watching again.
I mean, those scenes involving the baby? Honestly, that’s more terrifying than any actual slasher flick. 🙏

I don't know, maybe just okay. Nothing special, I guess.

Two words: Eva Mendes. 😲 😍

That part wasn't really my thing, but I did dig the mystery they were building up toward the end. Plus, those accident scenes felt pretty damn realistic. And honestly, just the whole vibe of a world-ending event that nobody actually manages to stop... I liked that.
There are plenty of pros and cons here, I guess, but if you're looking for a movie to watch on a lazy night when you've had a few drinks—kind of like the main character—it’s a solid choice.

From an acting standpoint, his Oscar-nominated role was probably his peak. But honestly, it’s not even my favorite movie of his.
😬Face/Off is just top-tier

Whenever I see Gone in 60 Seconds, it always brings back some good memories.

He's one of those Hollywood legends where his charisma and eccentricity actually outweigh his actual roles. It's pretty interesting, though—someone that wild hasn't been linked to any of that #metoo crap. I guess that says enough about the civilized Hollywood facade that usually hides all the monsters.

Sure, it’s easy enough to manufacture, but trying to market this under the Tesla name...
Maybe it's some distant cousin of Tesla. The real Tesla was the complete opposite of this stuff.

Phrenology would probably have its hands full if it ever tried analyzing those American political snouts on campaign posters.

He isn't some minor player in this. He caught a whiff of that old-school communist influence and had the guts to push back against their power.

How about this one: voting for the Republican Party means voting for an efficient and fair government administration.

Nicholas King said:"By bringing together people like Steva Culej, Kovac, and Kalmeta, we’re really signaling a commitment to inclusivity and synergy—it’s a clear message that this approach strengthens our internal party democracy and, ultimately, serves the best interests of America," stated Joe Biden.

Newsbar, just choke on it. 🙏

A 10% pension hike? Lol
That’s basically just a slightly nicer lunch for some poor old lady living on $500 Social Security.
It’s such a tiny increase, too... I guess inflation will just swallow it whole anyway.

Exactly.
They're basically the most hated group in both the opposition and the establishment, all at once.
Maybe aside from two or three loudmouths who act like self-righteous preachers, they just don't have any heart.
The Zealots—as brainless as they might be—at least swing for the fences with everything they've got, and when they're done, you can actually see the smoke left behind, whether people want to admit it or not.

If this were any other normal country, you’d just see these idiots living on the fringes of society. Kind of like how you see homeless people scattered around New York City (where, by the way, a huge number of veterans end up). But I guess this isn't a normal country.

What a complete load of garbage.
Honestly, the whole plot could have easily been one single episode of a DC series instead of being stretched out into a full-length movie.

The action scenes everyone keeps hyping up? Total snooze fest. They were actually pretty bad; I could practically see Margot Robbie just reciting her choreography from memory.
I mean, Margot is fine as Harley Quinn, but she worked way better in a shorter runtime back in the USA—she just doesn't have enough weight to carry an entire movie on her own.
Ewan McGregor was hands down the biggest letdown here. I’d already made my peace with the fact that the female cast was criminally bad before even sitting down, but his portrayal of one of Gotham City's heaviest hitters was almost as bad as Jesse Eisenberg's version.
I'm just glad I didn't waste money seeing this in a theater.
Deckard said:It's because people gravitate toward anti-heroes who struggle with morality and violence, and everyone loves a decent redemption arc. It's a far cry from that damn Captain America guy, who's just a total boy scout and incredibly, freaking boringly moral.

What makes him interesting is that absolute, stubborn refusal to back down from his own will, even when 99.9% of the world is against him and he's clearly outmatched. Even Deadpool respects that; he's basically a fanboy. But hey, I get that it's not for everyone.

@William Phillips4/">@@William Phillips4, quick nutrition question: any ideas for an alternative late-night snack that won't trigger night terrors? I guess that specific stuff isn't doing me any favors on my food list right now.
Is Whey okay?

nimbleranger17 said:Did anyone else catch that press conference on Fox News with person? Honestly, it was almost comical how pathetic they’ve become, just hitting rock bottom with these tactics...

So, she rolls up with those photos of person and person and basically asks, "Do you really want these people running America?"

And then, she actually goes out on a limb and claims person is a convicted criminal.😂😂

I mean, this kind of rhetoric is honestly more exhausting than a cross-country road trip through the Midwest.

At the end of the day, the Republican Party is just resorting to throwing mud at people and calling them criminals; that's really all there is to it.

😬
Well, I guess you can't expect anything different from the Republican Party; it's just their nature at this point.
It reminds me of that question, "Am I an evil person?" and the answer is: "Is a lion evil when it kills a zebra? Or is a tornado evil when it blows a house away?"
