Electrolysis vs. Laser Hair Removal in Health ·
I'm actually considering getting laser hair removal for my legs too. A friend of mine went to that JFK clinic over on Vineyard, and they cleared her legs up in just two sessions.

But the results are incredible. 🙂 I’ve been going two years now—not counting months, just roughly—and my legs have stayed smooth the whole time. 🙂

Are you kidding me? You used a needle for leg hair? That must have taken forever.

It’s a solid film... they really nailed those characters, like two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl. Twice.

It’s like this: people read Fromma and finally get it—if you aren't okay on your own, being in a relationship just makes everything worse. That's the gist of it. The Art of Loving 😁

So, you actually read this nightmare...
OB/GYN Discussion Thread in Women's Health ·
My gynecologist retired, so they transferred my records to the guy who usually covers his shifts. I showed up this Tuesday for a routine checkup; I’d been taking birth control and wanted to take a break, so I asked for a lab slip for some blood work. This guy looks at me and goes, "Why do you need a referral? Birth control doesn't actually change your body chemistry, for heaven's sake..." then he just handed me the slip anyway. 😕
Now I have to track down my primary care doctor just to get a simple order for a CBC.
Glasses or contacts? in Health ·
Laura Green8 said:I have some soft contacts—the kind you wear for maybe a month or two max—and they're great. Not too pricey either. I've got six in a case, and they last about a year.
Just caught conjunctivitis. My immune system took a massive hit from being sick lately... and my doctor prescribed a povidone-iodine solution for my eye.
Question: Is it supposed to hurt this much when you drop it in? Because this feels absolutely brutal. It stings intensely, and my eye stays red and watery for about five minutes before settling down. It doesn't seem right for it to be this painful... anyone know?

Maybe call a different ophthalmologist. There might be an urgent care clinic over in Chicago.

I just picked up a year's supply of soft contacts—a pack of four pairs, with each pair lasting about three months. My supply is running low, so I need to restock soon. I think I saw someone mention on this forum that people drive over to Canada because the prices there are nearly half what we pay here?
Hormone issues/imbalance? in Health ·
I think before any patient undergoes radiation treatment, they hand them some kind of consent form or paperwork to sign, basically acknowledging they agree to the procedure.🙄

Evil ends up eating itself alive. Honestly, it’s better to just let go of all that negativity—it mostly just destroys the person carrying it anyway. Besides, what's the point of spending your whole life fueled by hate? There are much better ways to spend your time. 😉

How long did you take a break before getting pregnant?

I’ve been on it for seven months now. No plans to stop until I make a call on pregnancy. Hopefully, my hips don't start aching before then. 😁 So far, no side effects—except maybe every tenth hair grows back a little slower than usual.

Even when you're in labor, and the whole hospital staff can't take their eyes off you, man... 😳 😁 🙂

Screw that doctor. He’s probably checking out another patient every fifteen minutes anyway. 😁 A how do you plan on actually going to an exam when you're this shy? 😕

First time hearing that the amount of water you use to wash down a pill actually matters. 😁

The instructions say to take them with a little water.

Not sure, but I'm guessing you're feeling under the weather because you downed way too much water at once. Empty. Stomach issues... happens to me too sometimes in situations like that. 😉

I let it sit for three and a half hours before taking a sip. Maybe it’s the water? If that were the case, someone else would've been complaining by now, not just me.

Why is it recommended to take these pills with just a little bit of water? Yesterday, I was thirsty, so I downed half a liter along with my dose and ended up feeling incredibly nauseous. Eventually, I just threw up the water. I made sure not to eat anything for at least two hours before taking it, yet my stomach still feels unsettled. 🙄
My IQ and the struggles that come with it in Health ·
A psychology professor at my university once claimed that Mensa is just a collection of mentally challenged people. 😁 I haven't taken the test myself yet, though maybe I should.
An IQ of 132 is solid; why are you even sweating it?
Here’s the thing: research shows there's only about a 20% correlation between school grades and actual intelligence. It's common knowledge that Mensa members aren't necessarily the most successful people out there.
It's unfortunate you haven't been accepted by your family, but that has nothing to do with your IQ.
Who knows what the real reason is—some people just love picking on whatever target they can find, and you ended up being the easy mark.🙄
Honestly, it might be better if you focused more on your own life and less on the people around you who just exist to create toxic vibes.
I’ve also heard that Natreen is basically poison—that it breaks down in your system into some kind of carcinogen. It makes me wonder why diabetic associations or similar groups don't step up and file a class-action lawsuit against the manufacturers of these toxic artificial sweeteners?

Ugh, she actually thought it was a brilliant idea to stop taking her birth control pills right in the middle of a cycle. I don't know how many days passed before these symptoms kicked in, all I know is she genuinely believed the pain was going to kill her—she even went panicking to her OB-GYN 🙄

I only missed my fourth day.
