Just because of what? Because you're messing around with your hormones without any supervision?
What, is your conscience actually eating you alive, or are you just trying too hard to act like a rebel? 😁

Yeah, sure. It’s common knowledge that all blood supplies go straight to the people in charge. If they drink a little something after lunch, it's no big deal, right? 😉

Next time you see a car wreck in the news, or find out someone you actually care about is heading in for surgery or chemo... just remember that you're taking it out on them. Absolute scum. Go walk through a pediatric ward where kids are recovering from surgery or fighting cancer, and feel like a real hero because you're getting your petty payback on them.

👍

Hero!

Uh... an OB-GYN?

Look, if you're actually a college student, you should know how to read.😁 You can check the first few pages of any book and see the whole copyright notice and all that crap.😉

And I actually wanted to congratulate them on saving the PMUs. 😁
Fine. Whatever. 😁
From what I can gather, as long as there’s even a tiny chance an HIV-positive person could pass it on, that second person's right to know absolutely trumps the infected person's right to privacy.

Or am I totally missing the point here?
Look, there’s still a chance of infection if you're in a wreck—like if a semi slams into your bus and there's blood everywhere from you and an HIV-positive passenger.
Justin Fox said:Look, a surgeon absolutely has the right to walk away from a job. If they don't want to do it, fine—they can quit and go find some other way to pay the bills.

I'm not 100% sure on the legalities, but I'm pretty certain patients have the right to say "no thanks" to surgery too.
Justin Fox said:Look, just like a patient has every right to demand a certified surgeon instead of some random guy with a razor or a butcher knife, they also have the right to demand that the surgeon doesn't have HIV, which could be transmitted if an accident happens. Why is that so damn hard to wrap your head around?

Who gives them that right? What's the actual basis for that claim?

Ask which cream. 😁<
Amanda Lee31, you think a surgeon actually has the right to turn away a patient just because they're HIV positive?
Look, someone living with HIV isn't "sick." From what I've read, once you get on antiretroviral meds, within about 4 to 6 months, the viral load in your blood drops significantly. Even if there's exposure through bodily fluids, the risk of transmission becomes incredibly low.
As for the surgeons, I highly doubt they're just spilling blood all over a patient's abdominal cavity. 😉
Just grab your gear and head straight to the OB-GYN.

And you don't even need to go to a private clinic.

Spot on. 🙂
When people actually get sick, they stop working. 🙂

But honestly? I think you guys aren't being critical enough with your own logic.

Look, if I actually needed surgery, I’d happily go under the knife of an IBM-positive surgeon. So tell me again how your ALL CAPS rant makes any sense.

Justin Fox, do you actually think you're smart enough to know the difference between an IBM infection and AIDS?

How many years can you actually live after getting infected, Justin Fox?
