Jamie Kim said:Everyone’s bashing B&L, but they work fine for me. I haven't really tried anything else... I just use the quarterly Verizon ones from B&L and honestly, I don't even feel them. Sometimes I'll go to bed at night and have to get back up because I totally forgot I was still wearing them.

Same here. 🙂
I’ve been rocking contacts for six years straight. I don't even own a pair of glasses. You don't actually need them if you don't want to.

silvergull10 said:Did anyone even ask about the money? I bought two bottles—both are open, but they’re basically full. That’s $57, plus $17 I had to shell out for a new case for my contact lens machine, which I’m definitely not getting back. Shouldn't they be refunding us when they issue a recall?

And they should be giving us new lenses too! This is a total disaster... 😠 Imagine buying a yearly supply and then—bam—nothing. Now you have to go buy more. Blah.

Seriously?

Alright, question. 😁

Why on earth do they keep changing the packaging? I swap it out when I buy a new one, sure... but why the hell do they keep redesigning it? 😁

I seriously hope women dealing with late periods finally realize that visiting a gynecologist won't kill them—it's just common sense to go get checked out, just in case. 🙂 🙂

But wait, shouldn't testosterone levels be high in that case? 😕

Go see a gynecologist tomorrow.

Otherwise, just lie down, spread your legs, and shove a computer mouse up there so we can read the results ourselves...

You’ve got that thread about gastroscopies right there, so just DM the people who said they went private and were actually happy with it. 🙂

Go see a gynecologist. You haven't slept in a week—did it seriously not cross your mind after one of those sleepless nights to just shower and go get checked out?

And what kind of advice are you even looking for? Emergency contraception doesn't work a week later. Your options are a pregnancy test, or if you are pregnant, dealing with birth or abortion, plus getting tested for STIs regardless of whether you're pregnant or not.

Look, I get it. You clearly trust Fedorov’s school of thought and the clinics built on his methods. I'll give you that—those places are top-tier, highly skilled, and fully loaded with tech. But honestly? For me, flying all the way there feels like total overkill. Just my two cents.

The price is somewhere in the middle, but it's a world-class institute and the city is gorgeous. Personally, I'm fine with it. 😁

It's not like an operation here in the States costs a few bucks while a trip to Moscow plus surgery runs you 250 euros. I'm just being paranoid and planning to drop way more cash than that.

My 7-year-old daughter has severe congenital myopia in both eyes. Sclera surgery was suggested. Can anyone tell me where this procedure is actually performed here in the States?
Grateful parents, George and Lucy.

As of right now, we don't perform that specific surgery here in the US. If I recall correctly, they do that kind of procedure at the Fedorov Institute in Moscow. You'd need to contact them directly for the specifics.

Sclera surgery isn't an option here in the US; you have to go to Russia for that. The whole point is to reinforce the back of the sclera so the eyeball doesn't keep elongating. As for laser vision correction to fix the prescription, you're going to be waiting a while. We don't do that on kids—not until they're at least 21.

I am so sorry, I'm just not fully up to speed on the latest ophthalmology breakthroughs and research...

Chill out. You reacted like I stepped on your junk with a high heel.
You’re really something else.

Check the expiration date, then look at how long you have before you gotta toss it after opening (there’s a little icon of an open jar on there that says 12M, 24M, etc.).
Try gargling with some sage oil mixed in a glass of water. I’ve got this bronchitis/pneumonia thing right now, and the sore throat started traveling down my throat so bad I couldn't even gargle like a normal person. I actually had to drag a chair into the bathroom and lean my head against the washing machine because it hurt way too much to hold my head up on its own. That gentle oil 🙏 🙏

(Voltaren tablets wreck my stomach, but the suppositories don't)

Good luck. 🙂
Man, this absolutely wrecked me. 😁
I’m dead. The sun is blazing, birds are chirping, everything is blooming 😍 and I just want to SLEEP 😁
