Tights, stockings... in Fashion ·
I don't know, maybe my stomach just gets way too hot and then I feel sick. But when I've got like a hundred shirts on plus a hazmat suit, I feel fine. Who knows. 😕

Like, for example, I have to tuck the top part of my tights over the waistband of my jeans just to get them off my stomach. It’s fine if I'm walking outside in a heavy coat, but otherwise, it looks totally trash. 🤣

Look, for me, that just makes my stomach overheat and makes me nauseous. But I wasn't about to ask, "Oh, are you wearing two pairs of panties?"
It’s freaking obvious from your post that's what you're doing, so why would I repeat it as a question? And I'm not even mad. 😁

Socks over tights? Tights under leggings? Look, it's blindingly obvious people do this. Either they actually do it, or they're lying about it—but honestly, why would anyone lie about something like that? And seriously, does everything you find weird have to be phrased as a question? 😁

I don't wear pantyhose, but I used to layer up with two pairs of thick leggings. Problem is, when my stomach gets that sweaty and warm, it makes me nauseous, so I’ll throw some over-the-knee socks over the leggings instead. Plus short socks, obviously. 😁 And then you have the nerve to tell me, "Of course that's weird." 🤣

Yeah, tights under the dress, that's what she wrote. 🙄 She said it twice. Either you don't understand American English, or you just love making a huge deal out of absolutely nothing, like some kind of idiot.

Always.

crimsonwalker6 said:Ladies, I’ve been thinking... as those biting winter days start creeping up on us, I find myself wondering about your approach to thick tights—you know, the cotton ones, the wool blends, all that heavy stuff. I’m asking because I personally tend to layer on just about everything I can find once the temperature drops, mostly sticking to that de-mode aesthetic, but I’m curious how the younger crowd views it... what kind of outfits you actually put together, because let’s be honest, it’s nearly impossible to look particularly sexy when you're bundled up in thick, bulky tights...😠 😠

I'm not just carrying them around! 😕 What's even the point of wearing jeggings or those tight-fitting leggings? I honestly don't get how they’re supposed to change my look. The only thing they actually do is bite into my legs the first few times I put them on, leaving me scratching like a maniac. 🤣

Michelle King said:The fetus gets oxygenated blood from the mother's placenta through the umbilical vein which enters through the navel. (You really want the deep dive?😲I'll keep it brief😁)From there, it travels through the whole fetal body and heads back to the placenta via the umbilical arteries.

So where does the meconium in the gut come from then? What is the fetus supposed to digest? If it's not going into the digestive system but straight into the bloodstream, fine. Do babies just get born with full bladders too?

mellowraven32 said:Nothing is going to happen and you can't hurt it; your liver will probably burst from the impact before you manage that...

Look, I was mostly wondering if a cut or a shallow puncture to the navel is more dangerous than one to the rest of the abdomen—like, if there's a major vessel right behind it or if the inside of the navel connects to, say, the aorta.

If I were to peel the skin off my stomach right now (I won't, I'm not a psycho 😁)—what would I actually find inside? That's what I'm trying to figure out. And what does "obliterates" even mean?
Belly button issues in Health ·
What's actually going on inside the belly button? Everything that travels through the umbilical cord while the baby is still in the womb... where does it all go? Into a vein? Straight into the digestive tract?

Is hurting your navel more dangerous than hitting some other part of your stomach?

(I didn't hurt my belly button or anything, I just want an answer to that first question. 😁)

If I remember right, my doctor gave me a referral for a urine culture once. 🙂

Oh sure, then we'll just diagnose you right here on the forum based on your late period and cure you instantly. Yeah, right.

So, is your period running late, or is your cycle just dragging on longer than that "standard" 28-day window?

Look, under various conditions—mainly when you're on antibiotics, dealing with a weakened immune system, or taking immunosuppressants, using oral contraceptives, hormone replacement therapy, antiandrogens, managing diabetes, or even just being pregnant—they start multiplying like crazy.

Have you ever hit that point where your body is screaming for rest, but your brain refuses to quit? Your eyes feel like lead, yet there's still so much left to get done. It’s happened to me plenty of times, and I already know it’s terrible for you—you eventually have to pay that energy debt back, which honestly sucks—but somehow, you can push through and act like you actually got your full eight hours. How many hours of shut-eye do you guys usually get, and do you feel completely wrecked when you miss your usual routine? How do you even function? Obviously, you make up for it later, but when you’re deep in the zone (and I don't mean just hanging out on this forum😬), does it even make sense to stop and sleep? 😛

No. It's a complete waste of time. It's not like sleep serves any actual purpose.

Why do people ask such stupid questions?
Found some mold :( in Health ·
You remind me of myself back when I accidentally ate pancakes made with flour that was crawling with moths—I didn't even realize until after I swallowed them.
I ended up panicking and calling my mom at work like, "What am I supposed to do? Should I just go throw up? Or drink something to kill them off?" 🤣
My period arrived 2 weeks early!!!!!! in Health ·
Terry Newman6 said:I really need some help here!!! I’m 20 years old and my cycle is usually super regular. My last period started on July 21st, and now it’s already back—it just started again on August 6th. Normally, my cycle runs about 33 days (give or take two), and it’s always been pretty predictable. The only times things ever shift is if I get really stressed out or if I start panicking about the possibility of being pregnant—since I don't take any birth control. But this? This is more than two weeks early!!!!!!

What should I even do?? Does anyone know why this happens?? My boyfriend is insisting that I should probably go see a doctor (though, honestly, I’d rather skip it since my usual physician isn't available and I'd have to see some random guy instead)

Please, if anyone can give me some insight, I would appreciate it because I am genuinely freaking out..... thanks

Just listen to your boyfriend.

wiredpuma5 said:If you need immediate relief, Nizoral is my go-to for first aid. It’s not something I’d recommend using long-term, but when I need a clean scalp right now, that's what I grab.
For something more sustainable—the kind of stuff you can actually use daily that starts working after a few washes—I just stick with standard Head & Shoulders.

At least, it works for me.

That stuff doesn't even fight dandruff. It just coats your scalp in this film that keeps the flakes stuck to your head instead of letting them fly off.
How to block testosterone? in Health ·
Bradley Barnes90 said:Apparently, there’s this supposed "trick" to stop feeling so turned on all the time.
I don't know if it actually has anything to do with testosterone levels, but maybe you can just train it out of your system.

If that actually works, why aren't they using it on sex offenders?
