Maybe it’s just a burn—explains why it’s blistered—or maybe you bit your palate on something while eating and now there's a minor infection that'll clear up on its own...
It’s perfectly normal. 31 isn't old. A friend of mine didn't really start feeling that maternal pull until she actually got pregnant.
Look, not every woman is obsessed with having kids—for some, it hits later, some feel it during pregnancy, and for some, it never happens at all.
After she had her three boys, I asked Madonna... "So, how is it?" And she just tells me: "Listen, I wasn't crazy about the idea of kids, but you end up loving your own... though I'm certainly not out here melting over every random baby I see on the street."
Look... just go get some blood work done. Check your ESR levels.
I dealt with those exact same symptoms years ago and totally brushed them off. By the time things actually started getting worse... they found out I had infectious mononucleosis (you know, that "kissing disease" thing).
Hey ladies... this headline actually caught me off guard. You can live perfectly normal lives with HPV—just so you know, statistically, one in three women deals with it at some point. For most, it just clears itself out within the first year of infection, though obviously not for everyone.
It’s totally manageable—you just keep up with your checkups and stay on top of it.
Look, honey... don't sweat it. It’s probably just some hormonal imbalance... you'll get there eventually. If getting pregnant were actually as easy as you think it is, we'd be popping out kids after every single time we hooked up.
Just relax, go back to the doctor, and tell them your period hasn't shown up yet.

Goodness, do I sound like a total old lady? Oops!
Ready??? What exactly were you doing to kids because you were "ready"? 😕
Alex Hall4 said:I forgot to mention that it’s my feet that are swelling, not my legs. 😁
I try to sleep with my legs propped up, but it doesn't seem to help much. By the time I wake up in the morning, my feet look relatively normal, but by the evening, they feel like I'm wearing heavy boats instead of feet. 🙂 🙂
Are you dealing with any tingling sensations or a dull sort of ache?
Tingling on the outside and pain in my calves.
That’s just poor circulation—likely deep vein thrombosis.
Try this... at night, rinse your legs alternating between lukewarm and cool water. (Don't go extreme with hot and ice cold—you'll just burst capillaries and create an even bigger mess.)
Then prop them up on a pillow.
That's about all I know.
Now, does anyone else in this massive crowd here actually use any specific creams, gels, or whatever?
Alex Hall4 said:My legs swell up like crazy every single evening. I went to see my doctor, but she was stumped. She basically told me she doesn't know what's causing it and suggested I follow up with an endocrinologist, but I can't get an appointment until September. 😢
What actually causes swelling like this? Should I be worried? James Cox6, what's causing yours to swell?
They just puff up, they swell. 🤣
It’s probably just the heat...
Have you noticed if it gets worse when the temperature spikes?
That sounds like deep vein issues—they tend to dilate in the heat.
Hold on until you've actually gone through childbirth, Charles Thomas70... then you'll see the real difference in how veins look on women versus men during the summer...😂
