He was given some Advil to help manage the pain. He's also had a feeding tube put in since he can't swallow right now. On top of that, they've started him on Haldol and Cogentin.
My father is battling dementia, and it’s been incredibly tough. He’s dealing with urinary incontinence, hearing loss, and his vision is down to about 50% in one eye. To make matters more complicated, his swallowing reflex has failed, so he’s relying on a feeding tube. We actually have to restrain him at night just to prevent him from pulling the tube out through his nose... It’s exhausting. He needs 24-hour care and constant supervision. Honestly, navigating this is heavy—not just for him, but for everyone else in the house. He gets lost in his own mind; there are only brief moments where he even recognizes us. I guess I'm just wondering... what is the best way to handle all of this?
My father has been diagnosed with senile dementia, and I’m trying to learn more about this condition and the standard treatments available. Right now, he's on a regimen of Prazina and Advil in granule form, but I have a feeling it isn't doing much for him. He still deals with frequent bouts of pain and periods of restlessness quite often...

It seems our forum members aren't particularly interested in the heavy-hitting topics; I suppose that explains why politicians do nothing but make empty promises... Take a look:
On my island, the average age has hit 70. Honestly, it’s a disaster. It feels like the absolute last chance for our brilliant politicians to finally wake up and actually do something meaningful to encourage people to move back to these deserted islands. Open
Imagine one day your child—regardless of their age—comes home and announces they’re getting married. But then they add, "Listen, Mom or Dad, just so you know..." 😉 they aren't part of our "blood, soil, faith, or political ideology." They belong to... (insert whatever group you happen to dislike most here)!
How would you react?
Only a truly narrow-minded person thinks that way. At the end of the day, what matters is whether they are a decent human being. Everything else is just noise... 😘

Josip Broz Marshall, Josip Broz Marshall, National Hero Josip Broz Marshall. I’ve always looked up to him, and honestly, I still do. This is a pretty interesting topic you've brought up, and I'm hoping a few of you might jump in to share your thoughts.🧐 Check it out here:www.lun1.bloger.hr
Marshall is a true legend. He was a decent man, a Revolutionary, and a massive leader who actually stood for something. He genuinely cared about his people. I suppose a lot of water will have to flow under the Potomac before we see another leader quite like Marshall. 👋 👋 🙂

I guess this kind of mindset is just what happens when you neglect veterans' affairs for seventeen years straight. NATO veterans deserve the same level of respect and support as those who fought in the Homeland War.
It’s honestly a bit exhausting seeing people chime in with comments when they clearly haven't done their homework regarding Josip Broz Marshall or the Partisans. There seems to be this specific group of people determined to discredit the entire liberation movement at any cost, though I suspect they don't quite grasp the historical weight of what they're actually saying. If you look at the facts, the American people supported Marshall with roughly 90% consensus; without that level of backing, maintaining power would have been an entirely different story.
