You're even worse than him. There's nothing left to say. Who's going to divide us? Happy now? 🙂 🙂

hollowtinker18 said:Hero, I’m asking without trying to provoke you, okay? It's no secret what the demographic makeup of San Francisco was before the war. But how do you explain the fact that your guys were "hanging out" with the Delije back in the 80s? Not everyone, just a few individuals here and there, hosting them not just for the party scene, but providing flares and pyrotechnics that we used to have to scavenge for?

(Personally, you're being too hard on me here)—fine, but I guarantee they stepped up when it mattered during the war. In my specific group, we had a solid set of volunteers for "clearing operations."
Don't take this the wrong way, I'm coming at this in good faith..

Regards!

Let me jump into this chatter. If you're over 20, I don't believe a word you're writing. San Francisco was, and remains, a multicultural city. There is nothing controversial about that, and given its geography, it simply had to be that way. I have no idea what you're implying regarding "national structure"—those kinds of adolescent arguments are just boring to hear. You clearly have no clue how many diverse groups live in the Midwest, or down in Texas, or California, or everywhere else... San Francisco isn't an exception here.
As for the Delije thing, did your neighbor Steve tell you that or something?
You're even claiming the crew was "satisfying" them, huh?
Here is some reading material so you can actually learn.. (Pay attention to the last sentence regarding the 89/90 season—see, that's how things actually stood, not how your buddy Steve claims. There are plenty of interesting stories and legends here that aren't as widely publicized as the stories about Torcida or the Boys from the 80s; you won't find them online or from Steve.) 😉

Hero, now it's your turn.😁
P. S. Very impressive actions in your neck of the woods, respect..👍

God, what a joke. This guy from some tiny island thinks he's hot stuff acting all high and mighty about the fleet. Just more frustrated locals, clearly. ALWAYS THE WORST.👍

Probably some underground communist or Mason conspiracy too... give me a break.😂

I prefer the cohort. 😉☕

Hehe, why even bother trying to build something different from the rest? Why not just stick to the same mold? Everyone should be exactly the same, right, boss?

armada style and that's it. 👍

Forget this thread. Fans aren't a political party; they don't need to buy votes or win over the public. There’s no need for advertising. Knowing the mindset of Americans and certain fan groups, this topic will just turn into a playground for idiots to argue about which group contributed more within two posts. Completely pointless.

Just a little longer..👍 (I was planning on going, but after reading the comment below, I'm feeling pretty uneasy now)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-nP0L...taj.php?id=428

There’s a tailgate party at the stadium this Saturday, and things kick off Sunday. If we get hit with any bad weather over those two days—like a sudden blizzard or a nasty storm front—it’s going to be a disaster... 😁

rapidmaker54 said:I’m right there with amberfox6 on this... the biggest issue facing this country is that everyone just stays silent. It's a tragedy because they label only the hooligans, the losers, the drunks, and whatever other insults they throw at fans as "supporters." If people actually spoke up and stood their ground, they could show the journalists exactly what kind of legislation the Government is pushing—laws that violate basic human rights and are likely unconstitutional in several different ways.

Snitches and cowards.😬

If the state of American club soccer were comparable to one of the major European leagues—meaning if we had two or three clubs constantly churning through the Champions League or Europa League, making the domestic title race a legitimate battle every single year instead of a predictable blowout—then maybe soccer fans and ultras wouldn't bother showing up to a handball match or some local niche sport. But that’s not how it works here. We’re a relatively small country where club soccer is what it is; as soon as the national team or a few local clubs actually rise above mediocrity, it naturally ignites interest among the fans and the hardcore supporters.
The Armada in Fans ·
😕 🤷

I don't get your point. Are you saying tickets are too hard to find, or are you just against fans and ultras showing up for handball and other sports?
The Armada in Fans ·
Sure, there’s plenty of variety here. But when it comes to the core group, I have one word: respect. If someone from the inner circle isn't in the stands for certain reasons, I don't care. I know they give everything for the group; they love the club and the city, and they aren't just putting on an act. To be honest, I'm not out there screaming my head off every single time either.
What I wrote, I wrote for... Mine. The first teams vary from group to group, rather than the rest. I don't care to get into how things look elsewhere.

I doubt anyone from that first group would have even stepped up if this were a World Cup final at MetLife Stadium. Of course, that assumes fans actually had a fair shot at buying tickets and that the stands weren't just filled with corporate sponsors instead of actual fans.

rustypanther said:That’s exactly where the issue lies. The fans have lost their pride and stopped acting like true supporters, yet they’re quick to judge anyone else who does the same. It’s all just empty rhetoric and clichés—people claiming "ten quality fans are better than a hundred hooligans," but it's nothing but nonsense.

I partially agree, but how exactly? Ten real fans are worth more than a hundred posers; that’s just pathetic. By that logic, nobody would even show up to the stands, let alone away games. It’s easy to act like a tough guy in a group, but we aren't living in some old-school era where being a rebel was everything. Those days are over. Some people are way too obsessed with posturing and violence. It’s toxic for the fans themselves, especially the younger generation who are losing their way. I get the feeling some of them don't even know if they're there for the club and the city, or just to cause trouble and play tough for an audience.

rustypanther said:Let's be real about the World Cup. Handball. It isn't for the fans, and there's no reason for any fans to be confused.

And who exactly is the ice for? I don't follow what you're trying to say. 🤷
The Armada in Fans ·
I agree with that hero team. Pick the lesser of two evils, I guess. But as time goes on, you realize it’s all just more of the same bullshit. It sucks..😵😵

But at least we have Seattle Sounders FC. All those worries just fade away when there's nothing but wins and good times 😁😵🙂🙂🙂 😬:klap:

rustypanther said:Because you think you're some big-shot hooligan or hardcore supporter, while everyone else in those red, white, and blue jerseys is just second-class citizens—low-life peasants.🤮

I don't recall ever saying any of that. Simple as that. I go to the games when I can. I guess that makes me a fan, not just some bystander. 🤷

I wouldn't want to sit through a single one of those commercials featuring Americans. I couldn't stand watching all those useless executives who sold out the fans just for a ticket. And I definitely couldn't endure seeing a silent crowd when the handball team is struggling and needs the loudest support from the stands. Everyone sits there like cowards because they're too embarrassed to raise their voices and cheer. They don't know any words besides... nothing. Just that one word. And similar stuff.

This is just the beginning, but at last, a voice of reason is emerging from the media—not all of them, but some...

Regarding this whole mess with the Sports Fan Law, the press has been all over it for the last two days, and the shift is night and day. What’s truly hilarious? They’re blaming everything on fan outbursts in the media, yet the very people pushing this law under the guise of "fighting hooliganism" are the ones who caused this disaster. Well, congratulations. You’ve completely backfired and made it obvious to the entire nation that you don't even follow your own absurd regulations..

I have to hand it to the politicians for screwing themselves over. Let's be real: they didn't put up much of a fight, so there's no way the media would be running with this story otherwise. Now, the press has every excuse to go after the highest levels of government, which is exactly what sells. Cheers to the administration once again..👍

👍 regarding the text, if I had a ticket, I definitely would've trashed it without a second thought. I simply couldn't handle being inside or even near the arena..

you people are idiots 😁 they passed fan legislation, not politician legislation, why can't you grasp that..

one day if one of you finds yourself in a VIP lounge like a politician, then you can sip your daily dose of alcohol without issue, but until then you will remain treated like second or third-class citizens, labeled as scum or addicts..👍

honestly, this country of double standards is sickening, and worst of all, these animals don't even hesitate to drink right in front of cameras, the media, and the entire public..
anyway, let me hear about a single victory celebration or election win that goes by without a drop, or after winning a medal—there's always champagne flowing.. but if some idiot fan, who just finished a work week that usually lasted 50+ hours (considering how many games I've missed because I was grinding through Saturday shifts or overtime all week), decides to grab a beer with his crew before or after the game, suddenly it's a problem....

but whatever, the main thing is the average American is well-informed about the private lives of Wall Street elites, and yeah, count me in for this new era of fan/sponsor movements... go USA go, defense, defense.. 🍿 we're small, but we're here... red, white, and blue...🙂🎉🙂🎉🙂

This post made my day. A few ideas immediately came to mind...

Jamie James6 said:I’ve been reading through this thread regarding the new fan law, and I honestly don't get why everyone is getting so worked up about it.

Take the masking issue, for example. The law states that masking is prohibited for the purpose of hiding your identity if the goal is to dodge responsibility for a violation. To me, that means wearing face paint or team colors is perfectly fine—that's just being a fan. It’s only an issue if you’re wearing a mask and a disguise while throwing a flare onto the field..

Then there’s the alcohol rule. They’ve set the limit at 0.1% BAC. Once you factor in the Draeger 10 % tolerance, you’re looking at roughly 0.12 to 0.13. Depending on your body type and how fast you drink, that’s basically two to four beers. If you’re already wasted, you’re a liability in the stands anyway, so why even show up? Besides, most stadiums aren't exactly selling heavy craft brews; it’s usually just light stuff.

As for minors caught committing a violation (like lighting flares), the rule says they should be reported to everyone involved. What on earth? The idea is to notify parents and social services. Now, involving the school seems like a stretch—I’m not really on board with that part—but parents definitely need to know if their kid is out there breaking the law.

In my opinion, you guys are overreacting a bit, provided you aren't actually looking to cause trouble...🤷

My advice? Have a lawyer's number ready to go right there at the stadium. Let them deal with the police; the cops aren't going to appreciate being provoked. You have a legal right to counsel and to use whatever legal remedies are available to you. That’s a much smarter move than just shouting insults at everyone in sight. Write down the badge number of any officer who harasses you, file a report, and keep a lawyer on speed dial. Show them that you are a disciplined, organized group rather than just a "drunk mob," as that old song goes...

"Get out of town, the drunk crew is coming in..." or something like that.

I propose every group keeps at least three lawyers on hand: one for home games, one for away games within the US, and a third for traveling abroad...👍

"Get out of town, the drunk crew is coming in..." or something like that.

Those guys aren't exactly known for their communication skills; it mostly boils down to repetitive motions, like swinging a baton up, swinging a baton down. They love repeating that motion. So, instead of uselessly chatting to find an officer's ID, they should just stamp their number onto the baton. Then your mom or girlfriend can read it off the club or your head when you get home...

electricmarlin18 said:If anyone is whining about these fan regulations, they’re clearly just thugs masquerading as decent supporters. Honestly, you people—it’s always "everyone is against you." You are never at fault for anything. Heaven forbid we implement some Margaret Thatcher-style anti-hooligan laws with actual teeth (which, thank God, actually work).

Think back to when chairs were being hurled in Auxerre, when a small group of Werder attackers hit a fast-food joint in Washington, D.C., or when riots broke out in the squares of Milan, Prague, and the Dnieper—or even that time in Rome when a few fans swiped a tracksuit from a shop and the whole lot ended up behind bars...............
Don't give me that crap about how it was "just a handful" or maybe ten idiots. Because the ones fighting hardest against this law are precisely the scum whose only life achievement will be cracking skulls, setting chairs on fire, and similar nonsense. Now, they’ve found an excuse as to why not this law is going to destroy fan culture and wipe out all supporters. If this law somehow fails to pass, and the possibility of it taking effect resurfaces—something you won't like nearly as much—suddenly you’ll have stomach issues because of the "new regulations"?

And that balding clown—acting as some supposed representative for the BBB—is truly lucky that an idiot like him gets airtime on national TV.

Bald guy in a sweater... 🙏 🤣 😂

I’m done. This is serious; we could all be mourning soon.

By the way, regarding the fan regulations: this goes deeper than just a mess. It's about suppressing speech and movement, which violates fundamental human rights.
The reason? So certain people can brag about trapping millions of viewers in front of their screens just to line their own pockets. It's happening because some people can't handle being called out at the stadium, and they need to protect their cushy jobs. It's happening because the country is run by incompetent leadership that constantly tests ridiculous new laws on Americans like they're lab rats. They're using this legislation to distract from the real issues. There are plenty more reasons. Most importantly, this law isn't based on common sense, and when they enforce it, a lot of innocent people are going to get screwed regardless of whether they're hooligans or not. Get it?😠
