I don't even know—honestly, I went mainly because I was obsessed with The Killers, and Franz Ferdinand was a huge draw for me too... everything else at the festival felt kind of like an afterthought, though Gorillaz were actually pretty solid. It’s such a bummer I had to head straight back home right after because I had other stuff I had to take care of
And yeah, I see everyone fighting so hard over what genre The Killers actually fit into. Personally? I'd just toss them under indie rock, which is exactly what they are... I mean, you don't have to be some total underground mystery to be considered indie, right?
