Douglas Booth40 said:Look, it makes sense to assume there are some people from the former America among the mods or admins. I mean, give me one logical reason why we’d even keep an "ex-America" subforum alive. The Mexicans have turned it into their own personal playground, and the Canadians aren't exactly lagging far behind them...

You really are just so... I won't even go there.😁

They thrive on engagement—they need more posts, more clicks, more endless bickering... frankly, I think the former America subforum serves a purpose, but only if the American side actually stepped up and got more active.😉

I honestly think those mods you’re aiming at might be overstepping their bounds sometimes, BUT given how many absolute idiots populate the Politics section, I can actually see why they do what they do.

That said, I can't get behind that last ban handed out to Kevin Mitchell. Look, as much as some people find banning the cross offensive, you could argue it's just as insulting to forbid someone from displaying a pentagram... basically, we could all stand to work on our understanding of democracy, which is something everyone seems so eager to run toward without actually knowing where it leads.

Now, this is what I call "having balls"—when an admin actually starts a thread just to bait the trolls.🙏😁

OT

I’ve officially stopped complaining because, let’s be honest, it’s a waste of breath and gets you absolutely nowhere. Peace out. 😉

They’re shutting down every single thread I start! Take a good look at the content, because it's obvious I'm not just some troll posting nonsense!
I’m actually calling for a female moderator to step in and review this!
And yeah, I’m calling out the blatant chauvinism here!

Meanwhile, I'm over here complaining about how sky-high inflation is hitting the whole country...☕

...yet you have the nerve to call someone a chauvinist right after you claimed the "male brain" was an "absurd" concept☕, and honestly, you should be banned for that.
Next thing you know, the Republic of Texas will be out here recognizing the independence of the Basque Country, Catalonia, Mexico, and even parts of Ireland...🤣but hey, the "government in exile" is just desperate enough to grovel for it...🤣😂

I think Vojky is doing alright; sure, he tends to get a bit too philosophical sometimes, but hey, that’s basically his job description if I'm not mistaken.
How do I become a mod? in Forum Help! ·
Man, I am beyond confused here.😕

I just spotted an admin who’s already racked up over a hundred posts despite only registering back in April of THIS year... honestly, they must have been born in Anderlon or something.

But seriously, no joke, I actually think I’d make a killer moderator... come on, go ahead, give me some status, change my rank, or whatever you gotta do to make my username pop.😉

So, you just take that little fan and angle it downward... once you step out into the sunlight, that solar cell kicks in properly, and then the fan just blows right in your face... 😬

🙏🙏🙏

I don’t know where you can find that, but if you're buying, there's a special discount for the crew from MK.🙏

Jason Campbell70 said:Why on earth don't we have that here in America?😢

We’re just typical Americans—we’d probably end up killing each other over something trivial (this time involving Janez), and even then, we still wouldn't have any guarantee of actually pulling it off.

Sure, Americans deal with school shootings, but let's be real—that's the direct fallout of a system where anyone can just walk out and buy whatever weapon they want.

Look, there are two sides to this coin—it’s got its fair share of pros and cons.

Look, for a nation as small as ours, this is actually a massive win. If we ever get hit by some random mob or a disorganized group, at least the average citizen has a way to fight back. It’s especially vital now that we’ve transitioned to a professional military of about 20,000 troops. Without that kind of strength, we’d be sitting ducks—even our neighbors could roll right over us and take Washington, D.C. before we even had a chance to organize a defense.

It’s a losing proposition for a superpower like America. When you have arguably the most dominant military on the planet and virtually zero chance of having a war fought on your own soil—meaning it's highly unlikely anyone is actually going to invade you—you end up using that massive arsenal for much darker purposes, like the school shootings we keep seeing.
It’s a losing game for us too. Even if I point out the silver lining, the dark side is that we’re starting to act like nothing more than barbarians—actually, let's be honest, we already do. Just look at the constant, senseless brawls breaking out outside bars every single night. And like someone else mentioned earlier, we’ve got the recent scars of war to deal with, which explains why we see veterans struggling so deeply with things like suicide. It's all connected.😢They’re out there using nothing but dirty tactics and rigged machines.

Weapons have never brought anyone anything but misery, and honestly, I think it’s time I dropped a bit of classic wisdom on you all.

Fighting for peace is nothing more than fucking with innocence!

Another American has arrived!!! in Close to Politics ·
hollowwalker142 said:Since my buddy Casio isn't in any position to share the good news himself, I'll step up and do it for him.

Consider this an official announcement to everyone on this forum: a new American has arrived.🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂

At 8:30 tonight, the world got a little better when this beautiful boy made his debut—weighing in at 8.1 lbs and measuring 21 inches long.

The proud father, Casio, sends his best to all Americans, and well, those who think they belong already know where they stand.😁

Anyway, I’m going to take this opportunity and honor to be the first one to say

I wish this little guy a long, prosperous, and honorable life; may he make both his parents incredibly proud.👍👍

And hey, what if there's some questionable lineage involved? Who can really tell these days... it’s anyone's guess who was with whom in a small town like Khuen Casi🤣—regardless, I wish him a long and healthy life.🙏🙏🙏

..... Basta and I would be ..... - correct, polite, and well-mannered!

That little slip-up alone disqualifies you from being a mod, so maybe it's best you just stay right where you are!

Besides, there’s already one guy over there trying way too hard to enforce "harmless discussions, following the rules, and not interfering with other users expressing their views (though, of course, people only get "interfered" with if they disagree with him, regardless of facts or truth) and discussion quality." You might actually fit in there, but honestly, he always manages to "surprise" you at the worst possible moments.

First off, you just filled that article with a bunch of mindless nonsense without actually saying anything intelligent or substantive.

Second, the fact that you clearly despise Basta (and me) simply because of our political leanings tells me everything I need to know about your character.

Third, I was clearly joking around here, but you seem to take absolutely everything I say with deadly seriousness.

Fourth, stop spamming this thread; it’s not what this discussion is about.

Richard Wilson4 said:Any random guy on an Islamic forum: "I'm all for the rebels in Iraq and Afghanistan...
But I can't get behind bin Laden, al-Qaeda, or the Taliban"... 😵

It’s pretty obvious you haven't done your homework.

If you actually knew what was happening on the ground, you'd realize there's a legitimate resistance force fighting there—people who despise the Taliban and al-Qaeda just as much as they hate the Americans for occupying their land. This isn't some group committing atrocities or targeting civilians; from what I can see, they are simply fighting back against foreign occupiers (the Americans) and the internal traitors (al-Qaeda led by bin Laden).

Maybe try educating yourself before jumping to conclusions!😛

How do I create a poll on vBulletin forums? in Forum Help! ·
It’s actually pretty straightforward. When you're getting ready to start a new thread and you've already typed out your content, just look right below that for the "Advanced Options" section. Check the box that says "add a poll to this topic," and—this is the part people miss—you have to go into those extra settings first to decide exactly how many response options you want in your poll. Once you hit "post thread," the topic goes live immediately while you finish setting up the poll, though honestly, it doesn't take much time to put one together anyway. After you've punched in your question and all the possible answers, you can toggle the option at the bottom to make the poll public if you want everyone to see exactly who voted for what. Then, just click "add poll" at the very end, and you're all set.🙂
Italy - Italian Republic in European Union ·
blueranger2 said:Given how much ground those Northern League separatists have been gaining lately, do you guys think a breakup of the Italian Republic is actually on the cards in the next 50 years or so? I saw a report where even a Berlusconi-esque figure's wife claimed that Italy was never truly a unified nation to begin with—which is a bit of a stretch, if you ask me—and suggested it hasn't quite matured enough to stay that way.👎

Honestly, let's hope it happens.👍 We aren't facing any bigger threat than the Italians, who still seem to have a massive bias toward the Adriatic coast.

Honestly, I’d throw my hat in the ring too. Morgan Rodriguez57 and I would make a killer duo. We’d be strict but fair—absolutely relentless when it comes to maintaining the quality of discussion on this forum. As a pair, we’d be the kind of mods that banned users wouldn't even think about complaining about, because they'd know any ban they got from us was strictly deserved.
