You guys seriously don't get it at all.

brightwalker32 said:I am so sorry you're dealing with this illness and everything you've been through.

It’s pretty obvious that those of us suffering from chemical brain damage—the actual medical diagnosis is Toxic Encephalopathy, 2019 ICD-10-CM Diagnosis Code G92—caused by certain "medications," are just supposed to be left to rot because the American healthcare system completely ignores us. I'm actually in a Facebook group where people who have been hit by this stuff are mourning dozens of deaths and thousands more living with permanent brain damage. Most of them get totally brushed off by doctors, while the rest of the world tries to tell them it's all just "in their head." If you want to see what we're talking about regarding the damage, look here: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neurotoxicity

The only reason I'm even bringing this up is because if we don't speak up while there's still something visible left to fight with, nothing is ever going to change.

brightwalker32 said:I’m going to dig up some research that shows exactly how this damage happened. Hopefully, people will actually believe me for once. Honestly, my heart is the bigger issue here. I think what happened is fine, as long as the problem isn't with Allstate. Sometimes my heart just starts racing out of nowhere, and man, where would I be if I had to sprint to the ER every single time that happens? And if they hook me up with Torecan again, I might just kick the bucket right then and there. This isn't some crazy conspiracy theory, either. This article is about the Hippocrates scandal, which was easily the biggest healthcare scandal in American history (here's another one on it: There are probably even bigger scandals waiting to be uncovered from other big pharma companies.

Look, stop trying to play doctor. Take it from me—this is genuine advice. Just leave it to the professionals who actually deal with being sick. I'm talking about someone who has literally been hovering on the edge between life and death. Seriously. I didn't give a damn about "side effects" back then. I was just freaking relieved whenever I could actually catch a breath. When water—meaning fluid, obviously—was basically flooding my lungs and my heart. I was just so happy to be able to breathe. You have no idea what that feeling is like, and honestly, it probably left some kind of mark on my brain. Go find yourself a good psychiatrist or psychologist. And you know what else? In my case, it turned out to be a hidden congenital heart defect, but everything is visible now.

If I were you, I’d find a solid psychiatrist and maybe spend less time scrolling through conspiracy theory forums. 🤷

Pise says she was panicking. That I shouldn't have nagged her and that I didn't jump to conclusions myself regarding certain things (like how high blood pressure might be what caused the brain damage seen on the scans).

Look, you just don't want to admit it. These are all symptoms. If you’re actually worried, go get an EKG or something. And keep an eye on your potassium levels. People have gotten better from this stuff before. If your life were truly hanging by a thread, you wouldn't be sitting here typing on a forum. Seriously. I used to be pretty active, doing sports for fun and everything. If your life were really on the line, you'd be in the ER right now struggling to breathe or choking on a cough. I honestly don't get why you're questioning whether you should finish college or get married. Just... go find yourself a really solid psychologist or therapist. Any kind of damage would show up on a brain scan or some other organ test. I'm telling you this from my own personal experience.

Emily Patel70 said:Honestly, those symptoms sound like textbook anxiety to me. And hey, looking at what you described, maybe the thyroid is acting up too? It might be smartest to just start there 🤷

People love to get hyper-fixated on one single diagnosis and then try to blame everything on it.

Besides checking the thyroid—yeah, I'm with you there—you should probably get an EKG done too.

brightwalker32 said:For me, it just comes and goes. It hit me really hard this morning, but I’m feeling a bit better now. It's that whole DISAUTONOMIA thing. I’ve got other issues too. I don't sweat enough, so I basically overheat whenever it gets hot out. Then in the winter, I get these sudden hot flashes (been dealing with those since my first injury). I know you guys hate my posts because I spoke up against using Tylenol in this situation. Honestly, I don't care what you think. It's hard to understand what kind of damage has been done. Maybe it's my own fault for even posting here, but whatever, I just needed to vent somewhere. I was stuck home alone and it felt especially rough. Ever since this happened, being by myself is a huge struggle. That's when I really spiral into despair.

This is a textbook case of anxiety and depression. Mixed with something else. It isn't about the medication, really. You're all just trying to find excuses for everything. At the end of the day, we all manage our own lives.

Look, if you’re actually choking up because your heart is racing out of control, you’d be heading straight to the ER instead of typing away on a forum.

brightwalker32 said:It doesn't matter because I already had some underlying damage. After that injection, things went 1,000 times worse. On top of that, I've got new symptoms like tachycardia. It really depends on what you were given. I've taken antibiotics before, pain relievers, fever reducers, stomach meds... nothing happened! Not all drugs are created equal; they don't all have the same side effects, and they aren't equally risky when it comes to long-term fallout. This is an antipsychotic, for crying out loud, and it was an injection. I read that even perfectly healthy people had all sorts of side effects from it, some even facing permanent consequences. So it’s no surprise what it did to me, considering my pre-existing condition. For someone with my kind of damage, even basic antibiotics or Tylenol/ibuprofen can make things worse, let alone an antipsychotic shot. I went to see a neurologist, and of course, she just brushed me off, claiming it's "all in my head"—the classic line doctors drop when you complain about drug side effects. They defend these medications because they're basically getting kickbacks, then tell you it's psychological. I'll have to see a private neurologist instead. I see a psychiatrist occasionally; she doesn't quite get it, but at least she admits these drugs messed me up. She tells me to stay positive, but honestly, it's hard to be positive when you feel like this.

Look, unless you graduated medical school, doctors are basically treating patients based on Dr. Google and Facebook. I’m telling you this as someone who almost choked to death—water was literally flooding my lungs and heart. I'm currently waiting on heart surgery. If you had pre-existing damage, you were supposed to warn the doctor. So, what you're saying doesn't really hold water. I took Augmentin for years before finding out I was actually allergic to it. They always take a medical history and ask about previous meds. I've personally experienced how side effects can change everything. And a private neurologist? That's the exact same thing. Unfortunately, I have way too much experience with this.

brightwalker32 said:Guys, I am on the edge every single day. I’m living through pure agony. Even right now, I’m struggling with tachycardia just from that Tylenol injection. It hits me harder in the morning. Sometimes it isn't there, but then my ears start buzzing. I can't even think straight because my brain feels totally foggy. I feel disconnected from reality. Like, I have zero emotions left. And the sexual dysfunction? Total. I honestly feel like I’m going to die within three years because of the damage this caused. Every day is just a nightmare. I don't even ask "why me" anymore because that's just pointless. I can't even focus enough to study for college. I miss my life before this shot so much. Now I'm basically dependent on my mom. My 24th birthday is next month, but I feel like I'm 84 and nearing the end. All my plans to get married—gone. My entire life was wrecked by one Tylenol injection that I didn't even want. They forced it on me while I was in a total panic. The doctor wouldn't even tell me what she was giving me! She just said, "It'll be on your charts." That took away the last bit of confidence I had to actually stand up for myself. I felt mentally coerced into taking it. Honestly, I suspect she did it just to grab a commission on those shots. Whatever the reason, my life is ruined. I'm going through hell daily, and beyond the physical damage, the trauma is massive. Is it even possible for this to happen in the 21st century? Honestly, they should have just given me an injection for euthanasia instead of doing this to me. The only reason I'm still here is for my mother. I don't even have the words to describe this suffering.

Find yourself a good neurologist or a psychiatrist/psychologist. This stuff isn't just about that one injection. Every medication comes with side effects. Believe me, I'm telling you this as someone who has been hovering right between life and death. When you're standing at the counter and you feel water starting to flood your lungs and heart... I took the meds I had to take, because if I hadn't, you know exactly where I'd be today: six feet under.
Nicholas Mendoza60 said:High levels of heavy metals can definitely trigger mental health issues...

Sure, they can, but I don't think that's what we're looking at here. This looks more like someone just dealing with an incurable illness.

Where would you even find heavy metals like that?

It’s probably some one-in-a-million kind of disease, you know? Like Huntington's, ALS, and all that junk.

It was an aesthetic procedure.

They used it as a local anesthetic. It lasted about 20 minutes, totally sedates you, and honestly, I didn't feel a thing—no nausea, no dizzy spells, nothing.

When I wrote that, I was asking you point-blank if that’s actually who you are just so we could clear the air. I wanted to make sure people weren't messing with you if you aren't her. But instead, you just lost it and started throwing insults.

And don't give me that "I stopped posting" nonsense. You're all over the chat constantly, padding China-Iti's post count with those little chat games. ☕

Ethan Brooks59 said:Personally, I think you're asking this in the wrong place. If you already asked over in the medicine section—I think there's a PDF on ophthalmology there—and didn't get an answer, I don't know, and I'm sorry if you're stuck without a solution. But from what I can see, you probably won't get a decent response here either, and honestly, that's just how it is.
Look, I truly have no clue if you're sister Veronica or not. And even if you are, if you're giving out solid, logical, sensible advice, I don't care if you call yourself sister Veronica, sister Brandon Newman95, or whatever else you feel like. Actually, quite the opposite. Just build a reputation for being helpful. Be a benefit to everyone here. Provide some constructive input for once, instead of being like the people who just come here to tear everything down.

The question was first asked in the health subforum
: eye/vision problems. Second: in the chat. The chat is for hanging out and swapping opinions.

I wouldn't say that. Try reading with a bit more comprehension. I asked questions about eyes in two different places and barely got one single answer. If someone walked up to you and claimed you were Dr. Joseph or Nurse Veronica, wouldn't you react the same way? I doubt it. The first time I saw that thread on the Verified board, I honestly thought someone was just joking around. Any sane person is going to look at mainstream medicine first and then check out Alternative medicine; they don't exactly cancel each other out.

Other users have been slapped with bans for way smaller offenses, yet this is basically the most offensive thing I've seen—is he really just going to walk away scot-free?

Lorelei, honestly, you're wasting your breath. He won't get sanctioned, for whatever weird reason they choose. Don't you see how he's trying to claim I'm Veronica's sister? I don't even know that woman. If you want, go dig through my old posts—I've reported him before, and that's exactly why the thread got locked. It's not just about you, though; he's disrespecting everyone. It doesn't matter if someone disagrees with an opinion; once you start hurling insults, you've crossed the line of decent conversation. The only person who actually told me the truth was Brandon Newman95. I've never seen such childish behavior anywhere else. On any other sub-forum, he would've been banned instantly for being off-topic. This thread will probably get shut down too, just because you dared to poke the "untouchable" one. That's exactly why I stopped posting in that thread entirely.

Linda Harris44, unfortunately, nothing came of it—(since he’s been reported for being abusive more than once), so they shut the thread down almost immediately. Honestly, this is probably going to go down the same way, just sliding right through without any consequences at all.
