Sent a package by accident about two weeks ago. The guy got it the very next day and handed the cash to the mailman right then and there. Still haven't seen a dime of it. 🤷 And I was dumb enough to toss the shipping receipt. Guess I'm pretty much... 😢
If you just open a checking account, you'll get a Maestro card, but those don't work for online shopping, making them pretty much useless. You really want an Intel-branded Visa to go along with your checking or savings account instead.
Alright then. I just ran down to the bank. 😁 Nobody there seems to have a clue; they’re just telling me "everything looks fine on the account, there's no reason for it to be closed." 🙄 I signed some sort of overdraft approval request, and they said they'd "get back to me." Hopefully soon...
Did they change something with that package? Yesterday I had an approved overdraft $333 valid until May 31st, 2011, along with my Maestro card installment limit of $333 and a 60% bonus. Now I’m checking Chase Mobile and nothing is there—no overdraft (it says it expired on March 31st 😕), no bonus, and no installment limit. 😕 I pay everything on time, so I have no clue what the issue is or why they just pulled everything. 😕 I called them, and the woman on the line could see my overdraft was gone, but she couldn't tell me why.
Honestly, this has been one of the worst moderation headaches I've ever dealt with. 😁
Locking a thread is always the absolute last resort, but clearly, there’s no other way to handle things here. At the end of the day, though, you all brought this on yourselves.

Thread stays locked.
Smart move. 🙂
Back when I was moderating the Department of Corrections section, that same thread was a total nightmare. Constant bickering and insults every single day. From what I can see, none of the warnings, bans, or deletions actually made a dent.
Go back and read my first post again (pay attention to the emojis I used, and especially that last sentence). You seriously think I actually believe that's possible?
The serial number shows up in the top left corner and again in the bottom right. That means if you were to slice it right down the middle—lengthwise or widthwise, doesn't matter—you’d end up with a serial number on both halves. 😉

If you’ve got a bill that’s been ripped into pieces—honestly, it's not even that big of a deal—as long as you have all the scraps and the serial number is still readable, you're golden. Just tape the damn thing back together with some Scotch tape first. They'll even let you exchange a note if more than half of it is still there—like, if you're staring at basically half a bill, it still counts. 😁😁😁😁😁
Oh, really?! So what you're saying is I can just rip a $333 bill right down the middle, take one half to a local bank branch, then head to a different one with the other half and walk away with $333 (making $667 total)? 😬
