HAHA, hilarious! Seriously? Gybe is lightyears ahead of EITS, and don't even get me started on Sigur Rós. Then you've got Slint, who basically redefined the genre and puts any other band to shame—plus Tortoise, Mogwai, and my personal emotional heavyweight, Gregor Samsa. We also have If These Trees Could Talk. And I should probably throw in Suffocate, because for God's sake, they probably have the best post-rock album ever made. I could easily list plenty of post-rock bands that incorporate screaming, but then again, that wouldn't be "PURE" post-rock.

Not to mention Have a Nice Life, whose Deathconsciousness is arguably the greatest album of all time.

What is there even to argue? The fact remains they couldn't manage to write a single catchy tune, let alone something actually high-quality. The lyrics are absolute bottom-of-the-barrel trash; it feels like reading some middle-schooler's diary. At least the debut album had some actual hooks, but halfway through this one, I was ready to rip my ears off. To top it all off, every single track drags on for five damn minutes. Bravo. LOL
