Edge of Paradise in Movies ·
Unfortunately, I missed both Class and Chaos. I’ll definitely be tuning in on Monday to see what’s playing, though. It feels like everything they show is a real cinematic gem. They have a decent lineup of international films on PBS around 10 AM—it's a shame because that's such a tough time slot for TV viewership. I really hope they rerun them during prime time.
Edge of paradise was two hours of pure, seamless storytelling. I absolutely loved every minute of it.
Let's start a petition! We need more international cinema on PBS. We get plenty of Hollywood blockbusters already!😁
Importing from China in Business, Accounting & Taxes ·
I haven't caught up on the previous posts yet... but I'll just say this—whenever I see "made in China" on a label, my hair stands on end and I pass on it immediately!
Ask him why he thinks you're clueless.
A quick chat might help clear up why he’s seeing things that way.
Who knows? Maybe it turns out he's actually the one who's lost.

Make sure you tell them! It needs to be a bit more gentle... otherwise
I don't find that funny at all!
Mold can actually be pretty dangerous.
Make sure you're drinking plenty of water and eating lots of fruits and veggies to keep your digestion moving smoothly.
Caffeine addiction? in Health ·
I totally agree—the flavor and aroma are incredible, but it just gets me too wired... I end up feeling super jittery and restless!
I actually stopped drinking regular coffee altogether, so now whenever I really crave that taste, I just go for decaf.
The Grand Aroma brand has a really great flavor profile.

I deal with those clumps quite often myself... it’s nothing to worry about, just really gross.
I’m dealing with anemia right now, so maybe you should check your iron levels too.
Honestly, I’m not really overthinking things...
But I’ve been dealing with this yeast infection for a few months now, and I just can't seem to shake it. I was reading online that yeast infections can sometimes pop up in people struggling with all sorts of health issues... even things like cancer.
That part really spooked me, so here I am... just trying to process everything.
Nausea and dizziness in Health ·
I’m feeling the exact same way.
It turns out my low blood pressure and a misaligned neck have been messing with me—it feels like there isn't enough blood flow reaching my brain.
Thanks for sharing this info.
I have to admit, I’m feeling a little anxious because my mom has battled cancer twice now.
First, it was breast cancer—luckily, she had some bleeding from the nipple, so they caught it right away.
And second, it was cervical cancer, which they actually stumbled upon during a routine checkup.
So, should we just be doing full checkups every single year as a precaution?
What kind of methods are we talking about here?
Like regular blood work, X-rays, or something else entirely?
I'm wondering if there are any specific warning signs that might tip someone off that they're dealing with cancer.
Everyone I know who’s been diagnosed... it was always just a total fluke during a routine ultrasound.
Does that mean we should all be getting full-body scans once a year?
I heard they were planning to roll out at-home testing kits over in England—probably for those tumor markers..

I’m totally fine with that. It’s basically the same topic, just with a few small tweaks.
I’m a total novice when it comes to solar panels, but my hunch is they need to be angled just right to catch maximum sunlight. Plus, since they aren't transparent, having them on a balcony would pretty much turn the whole space into a dark cave once you close things up.
Now, I'll step back and let the experts weigh in.
Starting a small business in Business, Accounting & Taxes ·
Robin Adams7 said:Hey everyone. I've started building out a recording studio.

The plan is to launch this as a full-on commercial business, not just some hobby setup for my own tracks.
The issue is, I can't find any actual regulations regarding this specific niche.

Is this treated like any other standard commercial office space?
Would it fall under a specialized trade license or just a general small business?
Can you even register music production as a formal small business?
How does the billing and pricing structure usually work?
And what's the minimum ceiling height required? That’s a huge hurdle because I'm capped at about 9 feet. Hopefully, that's enough.

I checked out here:

But found absolutely nothing about music recording specifically.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Maybe someone at the local Chamber of Commerce could point you in the right direction?
Which city are you planning to open the studio in?
Food combinations that just don't work? in Health ·
Dana Miller2 said:Why not oranges and yogurt? Even Nestlé makes an orange fruit yogurt!

The Fit for Life book lays it all out pretty clearly. Basically, you should stay away from milk.
A healthy meal combo looks like
meat plus veggies or a salad—skip the pasta, potatoes, or bread altogether.
If you're having pasta, rice, or potatoes, pair them with veggies, mushrooms, salad, or bread.
We don't need soda either. It’s just colored sugar water.
The food industry is really just focused on the bottom line.
That's how they make things like deli meats, hot dogs, and pâtés—none of it is actually good for you.
Even orange yogurt isn't exactly a health food.
It would be better to eat yogurt first, then wait about an hour before having an orange. You don't want everything mixing together in your stomach right away.
