Just picture the graveyard scene: Paco, step forward and answer for your actions 😁 😁 😁

oomph said:Is it Nick or Nik? Honestly, it sounds more like a clothing brand than a name.

At this rate, we might as well just call him MTV 😁

I mean, what could possibly be better than good old George?😁

Chloe Ross7 said:And yeah, please don't even think about suggesting names like oomph, nitzer, or Mortiis

Mortiis is just... ugh 😛 😛 😛

I’ve actually spent some time thinking about what I might name a child one day, and I’d honestly love to pull inspiration from names like David Gahan, Martin Gore, Andrew Fletcher, Eldritch, Ian Curtis, Brendan Perry, Nick Holmes, or Gregor Mackintosh.

Why don't you put together a list of options so we can all vote on them?

Kalahan mcp. said:Back in the day, there were these old traditions in parts of the rural South where people would actually lay sick children on top of graves, with someone watching over them, all in the hope of a healing miracle. They are just these forgotten pieces of folk magic. I'm sure there are plenty of other examples involving burial sites out there, though nothing else is coming to mind right this second.

😲I honestly had no idea about that.

I'm not talking about just reading books and tossing around quotes you found in them.

I want to know about actual daily practices, things like prayer, meditation, yoga, sleeping in graveyards, specific rituals, charity work, Black Mass, Gnostic Mass, orgies, Goetia, Enochian, and so on.

Sleeping in a graveyard... lol 😁 I mean, who actually does that besides drunk people wandering around looking for trouble? 😲 😕 😁

Personally, I know how to meditate in those settings, and I use Reiki occasionally as well, though unfortunately, I don't get around to practicing those methods nearly as often as I should.

Donna Lewis49, "shrink" sounds a bit heavy, but there is definitely a level of professionalism to it that I think might be exactly what I'm looking for right now.

Melissa Kim45, thank you. Honestly, my session with the doctor today just reinforced how rarely anyone actually seems to get me. I’ll explain one thing, and she just pushes back with the complete opposite perspective. 😢

Hi everyone. I was wondering if any of you have ever gone through psychotherapy and whether you actually felt it made a difference. I’ve been dealing with some internal conflicts lately and there are just certain things weighing on my mind, so I’ve decided it might be time to seek out some professional guidance. I'm hoping someone can help me pinpoint the root causes and the resulting patterns, or perhaps just point me in the right direction toward the kind of change that will finally put these anxieties to rest.
I currently have access to a local community center that offers health services, which means it wouldn't cost me anything. My doctor did suggest seeing a private therapist instead, but honestly, that involves a massive amount of money, and besides, there's no real guarantee that it would even help me.
So, what do you think? Does anyone have any advice or personal experiences they could share?

MARENA, MARANA, MORENA, MARŽANA—the goddess of death

Wait... where did the letter O go? o rana — what a gorgeous name
If your main objective is simply to have a good time, and you’re actually succeeding at that—meaning you’re genuinely enjoying yourself—then everything is perfectly fine 👍

(this isn't some rural community college) 😁 😁

If this place isn't even fit for the countryside crowd, then they really ought to kick out the DJ first—which is a shame since he's a recent grad—along with a few other interesting characters too.
Alex Martinez4 said:Man, finally... you finally admitted it. I really appreciate you actually taking a moment to think about your own well-being for once, and honestly, I’d say this is probably the first smart thing you’ve contributed to this specific thread 😉

Look, you might not remember this, but if you go back far enough, I actually wrote under that old "pros and cons" post that my biggest flaw is being intolerant. And what am I supposed to do about it? You really think I haven't tried to change that part of myself?
dustywolf13 said:Look, all this talk about religion and politics has absolutely nothing to do with this. PEOPLE; GET BACK TO THE ORIGINAL TOPIC!!!

So, back when we used to play music at my school, we mostly listened to bubblegum pop and the Beatles (I think that's how you spell it), but they don't play anything anymore because—get this—our principal actually respects performer rights laws

which means if they wanted to play a Madonna song, they'd actually have to pay for it. It's crazy that something like that exists at my school... just in our district, only us...

p.s. whenever uncle dustywolf13 was on duty, he would only listen to The Prodigy... hahaha!!!👋 👋 👍

No, it's spelled Beatles 😁

Performer rights laws... haha! 😁

Prodigy.. Smack My Bitch Up...😕 something like that, right?

P.S. What's the deal with The Prodigy? Are they even still around?
autumn said:Ryan Ruiz, you're just terrible.

Well, thank God we'll never actually meet, because then I wouldn't have the chance to make you regret ever talking to me.😉
Alex Martinez4 said:Putting others down is just a sign of insecurity...

Not really, it's just pure intolerance. I'll admit it, I can be intolerant, and honestly, there are plenty of good reasons for that. But this isn't really a topic deep enough for me to sit here and write an entire essay about.
Kevin Chavez3 said:This whole thing is just a joke at the expense of an insecure kid, but what actually worries me is how this post-September 11th propaganda—which honestly reminds me of the media spin we saw back during the wars in Canada—has fostered a climate where every single Muslim is automatically branded as an extremist or a fanatic. I mean, seriously, what jihad? It’s like people forget there are massive groups of Catholics who show up to church every Sunday and can recite The Bible from memory, yet they aren't suddenly being recruited by the Holy Inquisition, for God's sake...

np The Jesus Lizard - Puss

Go ahead and mock me if you think it's funny 👍 But as for me being insecure, that really has nothing to do with any of this.
I never claimed that fanatic Catholics don't exist, but fanatic Muslims are ten times worse.
It's true... eventually, for all of them, that jihad mindset kicks in.
Sean Miller78 said:Since Muslims fall under a religious category, it’s pretty interesting how you only seem to hate on religious men. Just them.

Seriously, stop trying to dodge the point.

By the way, remind me to tell my Muslim friends that all their music is just some "chanting to God" nonsense... even when they're playing in rock bands like 🙄

Look, don't act like you're being clever here. You know exactly what I wrote and what I meant. Besides, I honestly couldn't care less about your comment.
ruggedjackal46 said:Umm... you acted disgusted when someone played a Muslim song and then claimed you were only being annoyed by hardcore Religious Fanatics (I don't like them much either; I used to call the girl I was in love with a Religious Fanatic just so she wouldn't think she was perfect 🙂). So, by that logic, that song should only bother you if it was being sung by a die-hard believer, which clearly wasn't the case here.

Yeah, exactly... I just can't stand the sound of those songs. As for why I don't care for people of that faith, I explained that part earlier based on religion.

ruggedjackal46 said:Rade would probably prefer listening to Middle Eastern trash over Western garbage like boy bands or some "I've never been loved" pop singer

Are you talking about Britney Spears? 😕
Wait, didn't that girl say, "I'm not that innocent"? 😁
