Look, here’s the deal. Anything highly concentrated is basically just poison... or at least a massive burden on your system, especially the liver. Why mess with all that artificial junk when you could just go natural and healthy? It's everywhere.

The body wants to work out, but the brain won't cooperate 😬
Michael Jordan? 🤔 what's that

Nah, just let him fail then. See you back on the forum in a few weeks... 😁

If you don't know Michael Jordan, it's basically an old-school traditional dance from the USA that works your whole body. There are plenty of other ways too... 😉

Physical training—swimming or whatever, at least three times a week. And some new stuff. Yoga, Michael Jordan... things like that.

Man... 25!? That’s basically still puberty. I’d be a little worried if I were you...

Dana Anderson4 said:Look, I always stick to those lanes because, honestly, I’ve got zero patience for nonsense... just pure cyclist arrogance. Especially downtown, when I'm trying to have a peaceful walk down Fifth Avenue, barely finding room to move, and then some idiot on a bike starts honking at me. Seriously, screw those ridiculous gadgets.🙂

What a statement. 👍

It's basically like saying, "I ride my bike right down the middle of the road because I hate how arrogant drivers are, so I have to prove myself by being even stupider."

But hey, what do you expect to run into on a bike path? A fighter jet???

Sean Lee7 said:There’s definitely something there, but usually, pedestrians just walk right through them. To me, it’s one thing. I tend to pass those types of walkers a little "faster" and a little "closer." 😁

Exactly... especially me. 😁

They’ve got some over on Broadway... and a few others... but whatever. 1.9 miles What, five total? What kind of urban planning is that!? 🙄

Washington, D.C. really needs to bring back some actual urban culture... and that requires certain things. Certainly not throwing millions at that eyesore of a Yankee stadium...

so... where actually are the bike paths in Washington, D.C.!? 😠 and how many miles are we talking about!? 😠

damn Bill Clinton and his whole crew...
🙄
I was wearing those Japanese sneakers last year... man, they run so narrow.

Give it a rest, just spend more time sitting at your desk and maybe you'll actually get better at this!

As for sugar and carbonation... I'm not sure if the bubbles themselves are the issue, but the sugar definitely is. Then again, there's plenty of even sweeter stuff in our diets, so maybe it doesn't matter much. Take raisins, for example—they're incredibly cariogenic, even if they don't seem that way. Bananas fall into that same category. There’s more where that came from if anyone actually wants to know...

Is that why raisins are preserved with SO2? Or what...?

Is the SO2 option safer?

club delicious said:Stop messing around with that. It could be Salmonella (you don't necessarily need a fever for gastroenteritis). Is it really that hard to just head to the doctor?😢

Hopefully it’s nothing serious. Just don't play games with dehydration.

hehe...dehydration...not funny...and there isn't an IV drip anywhere nearby...that's the problem.

but let's hope that doesn't happen...not from just one bout of vomiting in two days...

Grace Flores85 said:Exactly.👍 But what really gets me is how people actually believe these multivitamins are doing something. It’s just a massive placebo effect. Honestly... it's not great. Every single doctor and scientist I dealt with back in college said the same thing. The whole supplement industry is basically just a money grab. People are just being naive...🙂

Unfortunately, you're right. It happens because science has taken on this role that everyone blindly follows—mostly because they don't actually understand how it works. It's become a way to control gullible people, kind of like religion used to be. For someone who just reads about products in the news, it's all too complex... too hard to grasp how studies are conducted or how they cherry-pick facts to hide the truth...

A trivial example regarding vitamin absorption and supplements is how you take them. Magnesium and calcium have to be taken separately. Same goes for iron. Otherwise, they just bind together and get flushed out. Vitamin C and magnesium are the same way... they don't work well together for the body.

You’ve got it... it helps with minor stomach bugs. It isn't exactly pricey either... how much would you even pay for a gram of activated charcoal?? Might be a little unpleasant to drink, though 😁

kids....drunk....

if you don't have a fever, it's probably not some serious poisoning... try sticking to light stuff like rice and crackers.. if things don't look better soon, get to a good doctor.. maybe some strong meds..👍

No GMOs, no pesticides, nothing industrial... I stick to organic. That's just my way.

I like good food. Real food. High nutrient density... the fresher, the better.

If I'm not in a massive rush, I always check the labels first. Looking for preservatives or emulsifiers... if I can find one without all that extra junk, that's what I'm grabbing. Same goes for things like Mozzarella, Gouda, or any other cheese. Salmon too... just want the clean stuff.
Salami, hot dogs, canned meat... all that junk? Yeah, I cut it out of my diet a long time ago...

Vegetables can be loaded with pesticides... though organic options exist. Problem is, you can't always trust that they actually follow the labeling standards. There are specialty grocery stores dedicated to organic food, too...
