Not a chance. He'd need to shave 8.5 seconds off his time over 16 laps just to stay in the hunt—and even then, he'd still be getting hunted. Zero chance.

The way Kimster just sliced right past Alonso—like he was overtaking some old lady shuffling across the street. Absolute masterclass.

And then you’ve got Delvekija over here wondering why we even bother.

Oh, Delvekija...

Facts. Perez is an absolute legend. Love the guy.

Don't kill the vibe. Thanks.

Dana Murphy4 said:Max finally has a real shot at fighting for the title—the car is absolute perfection, he drove like a beast, and ended up with a nice little cushion over Mercedes-Benz. Charles was also killing it, though I’m just praying he doesn't smash into someone at the start of the race again. 😁

We all know exactly who Charles Leclerc keeps running into most often. He’s basically a walking magnet for certain people!

So, we’re already dealing with drama involving Nikita Mazepin—and we haven't even gotten started yet.

I mean, seriously, he just ruins qualifying for six different drivers, including two world champions.

Hate! Pure Hate! Absolute collective Hate!

Missed it too! Completely flew under my radar.
I’m watching, focused, and then—boom—this massive ad for some "Cunt Empire" thing pops up and takes over the whole screen. Obviously lost my spot because of that.

There's zero chance Ferrari finishes third or fourth in the constructors' championship. Like, where did this sudden surge in performance even come from?

Red Bull Racing is +0.01 in qualifying
Mercedes-AMG is +0.19 in the race
👍

Obviously. Only the clueless would think Mercedes just suddenly tanked—the cars are basically identical to last year.

And honestly? It’s not even a bad thing. Stability is fine. It wouldn't be great if everything was totally chaotic and we had a different winner every single Sunday. This way, we pretty much know Mercedes is going to win most of the time. But then, when they actually lose one of those rare races, it'll actually mean something.

If it weren't like this, the whole thing would feel empty. Just pure nonsense.

And nobody likes a hollow race.

Is that how they taught you to talk back home?

I'm really hoping our fellow forum member actually meant what he intended to write.

"Every single year, same story. Mercedes dominates and then everything goes sideways around the Spanish Grand Prix"

But his phone just went rogue and swapped out letters completely out of nowhere—happens all the time with these smartphones nowadays.

Let's give him the benefit of the doubt before we go full judge, jury, and executioner against him.

Only thing is, the poll link isn't working 🕺

Some smitten moderator wiped it out.

The votes don't even matter anyway—considering I'm the lifelong, posthumous President. And everyone's been told that multiple times now. Let the little girl and her clowns have their fun... doesn't hurt anyone.

Who's stopping you from ditching this season entirely and just watching the 2001 season every Sunday at 2 AM like it's actually live...
You could even binge both seasons at once—or three, why not...
The options we have today blow 2001 out of the water...

Dude, you’re a straight-up genius. Basically Tesla's direct descendant at this point.

But listen, my man Martin Tesla—there are still people who actually travel to see races live at places like Austin, Monza, or Red Bull Ring. You got any "revolutionary" solutions for them too?

Up next is another Miami Grand Prix at the Sakhir track.
It popped up on the calendar back in 2004—just this random new circuit dropped right in the middle of nowhere. Specifically, out in a desert owned by a country where, let’s be real, basic human rights and moral principles are basically non-existent. But hey, money talks, so here we are.

image

It’s been part of the schedule for 17 years now, so it’s pretty much a classic at this point. Just for context, back in 2008, FC Barcelona had already been on the calendar for 17 years. It felt permanent then, just like how Sakhir feels now.

Michael Schumacher took the win in that first race. It was one of those incredibly dull races that produced an incredibly dull winner—done in his signature, totally boring style: pole position, fastest lap, absolute dominance, and then the win.

image

Back then, everyone was pulling for Montoya, Kimi Räikkönen, or Fernando Alonso. But nope, it was Schumacher. Honestly, looking back, we were all wrong. Sometimes I wish life actually had an "Undo" button, so I could go back and actually enjoy Schumacher's wins instead of being pissed off because the guy won his fiftieth time that season and it was driving us nuts. Him, that red Benetton, and his arrogant lead driver. We hated him purely because he won too much. He made racing boring, and we cursed him for it. Now? He’s gone. And man, would we love to have him back. To see him just one more time. To soak in those massive wins we ignored because they seemed "boring" at the time. But unfortunately, as we know, there is no "Undo" in real life. "Undo" only exists in Word or whatever. In the real world, once you mess up, it's done. You can't fix a wrong step. We can't revisit the 2004 season or enjoy those "boring" Schumacher victories, because that season is dead and buried. It's never coming back.

Anyway, back to the current race.

Schedule:
Friday, March 26th.
Practice 1 12:30-13:30
Practice 2 16:00-17:00

Saturday, March 27th.
Practice 3 13:00-14:00
Qualifying 16:00-17:00

Sunday, March 28th.
Race 16:00-18:00 (Note: adjusting for local time logic)

The Miami Grand Prix will be held on March 28th, 2021 (which is in 5 days).
From 17:00 to 19:00 GMT (heads up, Daylight Savings hits this weekend, don't forget).
57 laps on a 5.4 km track. Just your standard, classic circuit.
The favorite is Lewis Hamilton, as usual. My personal pick is Sergio Perez. Remember, there's no undo. Enjoy Lewis while you can. This might be our last year watching him. In ten years, we'll regret it. But there's no going back.

And finally, just so you know—all of you who betrayed the Beloved President by voting for cosmicridge5—when you wake up and check your favorite subforum for some quality Formula 1 reading, you'll realize the forum is gone. There's no President, no President's beautiful posts for you to enjoy. There aren't even any users left, since half of them were banned by the one active moderator. There's never a second one, and the third one never wakes up.

But the real agony happens when you go to the bathroom to brush your teeth, look in the mirror, and see the person who betrayed the Beloved President staring back at you. And even then, the nightmare isn't over—as long as there are mirrors in this world, that person who betrayed the Beloved President will follow you forever.

Mirrors are gonna exist on this planet forever—basically in infinite amounts—and there's no way to wipe them out. For the rest of your life, you'll be staring at the guy who betrayed the beloved President, and that traitor? He'll be staring right back at you.

But hey, it’s not all doom and gloom—there actually is someone who can bail you out of that eternal, lifelong, afterlife agony. And that’s none other than your beloved President!

He’s gonna offer you forgiveness and salvation for the umpteenth time by doing something special—opening up a brand new poll just for you so you can fix your massive mistake.

Here is your new poll.

Get it right this time. Because when you're with the beloved President, you actually get an "Undo" button in real life.
Nicholas Newman2 said:This is just as sensible as responding to the endless empty rhetoric that’s been swirling around, which really spiked after Practice 1.
To be clear, this massive surge in nonsense is just a direct reaction to all the built-up frustration.

If it weren't for Pirelli's "Michelin Man" appearing on this PDF, we'd be witnessing a level of chaos even a Roman Emperor would be ashamed of.😁

A lot of things become much clearer once you look at how people voted in the poll at the top of the thread.🤦

Well, we’re going even harder than that—if only George Russell had actually won.

Because he proved anyone can win in that car. But more importantly, he proved Mercedes will do absolutely anything—even screw themselves over for extra points they don't even need—just to keep up the illusion that Lewis Hamilton is the GOAT.

Anyone with half a brain sees that Russell didn't just finish eighth yesterday; Mercedes practically shoved him into eighth place. And they did it twice. Russell—who is a totally mid driver—could have won in the most dominant car in Formula 1 history despite one intentional pit stop blunder. They literally had to mess up twice just to pull him in.

See, Russell has given us plenty of proof to realize that Lewis reached all those records simply because he's driving the most dominant car ever and gets absolute preferential treatment from the team because he's good for marketing. He's a handsome, well-spoken guy who dominates the media and social feeds effortlessly. Of course, they're going to let him dominate the track, too. Lewis is indeed the GOAT—but not for his driving, for his influencer game. He's the best influencer among drivers and the best driver among influencers. He's leagues above a Handball player, but barely reaches the ankles of Niki Lauda.

So yeah, we've got more than enough reason to go wild. And we'll be doing it for a long, long time. You can read it or you can ignore it—whatever. Your call.

@Nicholas Newman2 👍 This link explains everything perfectly.

But hey, go ahead and keep living in your own little bubble. That one line—“Mainly because of all those places worse than first”—pretty much proves you don't get how this sport works.

Coming in second is just being the first loser.

And then there's this new brand of mathematical gymnastics: claiming someone won more points outside of their victories 🤣 damn math, right? 🙏🙏🙏 Trying to compare total points when the number of races isn't even the same—that's some pretty weak early-morning mental gymnastics.
Hamilton averaged 14.44 points in races where he finished but didn't win, while Rosberg sat at 14.54. It's basically the same thing—one point difference over ten races. And most importantly, what kind of logic is it to discount wins? Wins are the whole point of motorsports.

Pure empty rhetoric
