James Harris34 said:Lewis Hamilton would have the exact same points advantage over everyone else in this Ferrari as he currently does in the Mercedes-Benz.

yeah, right—just like he did back in 2010, 2011... total genius move there.
copperdrifter26 said:I don't recall that. Even Chuck Ric didn't have a lead quite this massive—maybe around 0.05-0.1.

This is straight-up bullying. Total overkill.

Don't get carried away. Ayrton Senna was consistently better than Alain Prost in qualifying, yet nobody called it "overkill" since Prost was the one pulling in more points per race on average—by like 21%. And at the end of the day, it's all about the points.

True, Charles Leclerc crushed Sebastian Vettel in qualifying, but so far Leclerc has only pulled in about 3% more points per race than Vettel.

Man, Adrian Newey is a straight-up wizard.

even if you ran that math with Max being a total amateur driver
Gary Palmer8 said:wait... Ferrari 1, Ferrari 2, Red Bull 1, Red Bull 2, then Mercedes 1/2

So basically, this looks like a total joke to me—honestly, I’m a bit worried you guys missed how obvious this was. Maybe I set the bar too high when we were hanging out at the frat house...

huh?
mellowtiger83 said:Jules Bianchi is probably looking down from above feeling pretty proud of Charles Leclerc right now—they were buddies since they were kids, and Jules was basically the big brother showing him the ropes of racing.

Jules, thanks for giving us a driver like this.

enough with the pathetic stuff
Gary Palmer8 said:Hamilton's stuck behind the Ferraris and Honda again... yet you guys keep singing those "fighting spirit" songs to pretend Mercedes isn't actually the 5th fastest car on the grid...

Fifth? Please—if they’re actually slower than Red Bull, there's no way they're sitting in fifth.

Anyway, here's the actual speed rankings right now:

1. Ferrari
2. Red Bull
3. Mercedes
4. Renault
5. McLaren

Are you really trying to tell us that both Renault and McLaren are faster than Mercedes, or can you just not count to five!?
Gary Palmer8 said:maybe try finishing college first...

College? Hell yeah?
Gary Palmer8 said:Looks like Wolff totally checked out during the break—classic. Now we're basically just praying Lewis Hamilton's pure talent can carry him through, since the car is sitting at 5th on the grid...

Show me the proof.
stormyviper2 said:Singapore was pretty much expected—the engine really showed its strength there... Not totally sure how things will play out at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway though. 😉

Since when did the engine become the deciding factor for Singapore!?
wiredfalcon2 said:That’s just your take on why it "shouldn't be a big deal," and honestly? You're dead wrong. Catching someone is one thing—blowing past them is another. Look at Spa where Sebastian Vettel blocked Lewis Hamilton, or Monza with Charles Leclerc playing defense, or even Singapore where Mercedes just blew the tactics. All that proves is that Mercedes has a slightly faster car during the race. It doesn't mean they're two seconds faster per lap—they're just a bit quicker, and you still need everything else to line up—strategy, traffic, overtakes...

Basically, Ferrari has the better driver.

Everything else is just a bunch of excuses.
wiredfalcon2 said:Ferrari stepped it up during qualifying and strategy—but let's be real, Mercedes had the faster car in all three races.

So they didn't win then!? Honestly—with a five-time champ behind the wheel, that shouldn't even be an issue.
stormyviper2 said:To me, Canada feels just like Russia on the calendar—similar track vibe and everything. Not sure if Ferrari can actually pull off something special there. Honestly, slim chance they take the win.

If you haven't noticed, Ferrari has been absolutely killing it on every single track since the summer break. They've got the best car on the grid right now—period. That's why the Mercedes guys are sweating bullets; the only reason they aren't underwater is because Lewis Hamilton built up that massive 100-point cushion during the first half of the season.

Without those points, they’d be looking at a 21-year-old world champion. But whatever. Charles Leclerc will probably just spend the next 30 years chasing titles.
Gregory Brown94 said:Man, ruggedhawk20, they totally overcut me. Even though my strategy was super aggressive with the undercut.

What a time to be alive, Alan.

Back in the day, you could pull off an undercut and actually have some fun with it—now they just ban everything for no damn reason.
Roger Wright94 said:They existed—until the Inquisition wiped them out.

And they just left this pit lane sitting there!?

What kind of logic is that!?!?

Hold up. This guy picks up some plastic packaging off the floor, tosses it in the trash, and Rađđa immediately loses it!?

Isn't that just, like, the most basic, everyday thing we all do!!??
