I had nose surgery back in February of last year. Since then, the right side of my face keeps swelling up—it’s actually swollen right now, and I never dealt with this kind of issue before the procedure. Is it possible there was some sinus damage or something else entirely that could be triggering this? It was a septorhinoplasty.
Look, you need to rinse it thoroughly with saline. Fill up the syringe, tilt your head gently to one side, flush it out, and then just let it drain. Expect all sorts of debris coming out during the process 🙂 It won't hurt you. In fact, it’s necessary to clear away those crusts so the doctor doesn't have to scrape them off later. outside.
It’s painful, but since I’ve been through it, I wouldn't recommend scheduling surgery for the summer. The heat just makes everything drag, and when you factor in the initial recovery—the throbbing, the tightness, the crusting in your nose—it's a nightmare. Dealing with that kind of discomfort in sweltering heat is just asking for trouble.
Thanks for the reply. I don't get it either. It makes zero sense—I’m still hitting the bathroom every single minute, the stinging is constant, and now I’ve started getting this sharp pain in my kidneys. I have no idea if my doctor will even let me redo the urine culture, since according to those results, everything is supposedly fine. :/
Looks cloudy. Yellow tint (pale yellow). pH levels are acidic (4.6–7.5). Specific gravity: 1.020 (Reference range: 1.005–1.030). Protein levels are at 0 (normal range: 0-3). Glucose levels are normal. Everything looks good here. Ketones: 0 (Range: 0-3). Bilirubin at 0 (range 0-3). Perfectly normal. Urobilinogen is within the normal range. Everything looks good here. ERCs: 0 (Range: 0-3) HB levels at 0 (range 0-3). White blood cell count is at 1 (normal range 0-3). Looks normal to me. Nitrites are negative (0-2). URINE SEDIMENT White blood cell count is sitting at 15-20. That’s high. The bacterial load is massive.
The day before this test, I had a urine culture done, and it came back sterile. I was dealing with a vaginal infection and used some Arilin rapid wipes. Based on these results, do I actually need an antibiotic for my urine?
Good luck!! I honestly can't believe how much better it is to finally breathe through my nose! I feel significantly healthier now. Plus, I don't have any more of those chest pains I used to get before the surgery.
I don't think anyone actually performed surgery under Glumičić 🙏stormyrider4: Are you people even reading the quotes in this thread, or are you just sitting there waiting for someone to spoon-feed you the same information over and over again??
Didn't he set the Ostojic mold for you?? 😲 But look, that thing acts as support for the new nasal structure—it keeps the bones in place! What on earth does that have to do with bleeding??
Yeah, think about the supplemental insurance. And don't forget—you can't be on your period during ovulation, otherwise they’ll just push your dates back. Luckily, I started mine two days after ovulating.
It’s been exactly two months since my septorhinoplasty! Thank God and my surgeon—my breathing is incredible and I look much better 🙂 I just hope it stays this way!
My period started on March 15th and lasted its usual six days. But now, thirteen days later, I’m still bleeding—a mix of light red and dark blood—and I have this intense, sharp pain on my left side. I can't even get to the clinic until Tuesday because I don't have anyone to watch the kid, my husband is out working until then, and it's way too far to drive without a car. I know it could be anything, but I just needed to vent a little. :/

That isn't even much of a fever. Besides, they're going to run all the checks before the procedure anyway, and they'll tell you if you're cleared to proceed.
