Look, if I’m actually taking you seriously here, Kenneth Peterson5—and I mean that in the most respectful way possible—your whole "the most important thing is finding the most important thing" argument gets me stuck. It’s like... the word "important" isn't even the same damn thing as "essential," right? So, I can't help but wonder if answering the question "what's the most important thing?" the way you did is even the point. Like, wouldn't a more realistic answer be that the real priority is just figuring out what actually matters? Finding the core essence, you know?

I haven't exactly been overthinking this all day, so sorry if I'm talking total nonsense—and hey, thanks for being so kind about correcting my mistakes.

Thanks.

Harold Morales, are you seriously telling me you love ExxonMobil as much as I do? 😁 (rhetorical question, obviously)

Just look at this: a> (mostly check out line 7);
See, when it comes to books and all that other junk, that falls under art—and art doesn't play by the same rules, just like artists themselves can be totally unpredictable. 😁 (I’m not even gonna bother explaining that further, mostly because you called me "dear Kate Fisher73," so I already know exactly how you process things 😍)

(And yeah, if you’re actually planning on replying to this, just know I’m completely out of arguments. Even if I did find one, the idiot in my brain would probably twist it into something ridiculous just so you could laugh at me—and honestly, I’d be pretty miserable about it, so let's just say goodbye until a better time comes along. What a mess. 😢)

So Harold Morales told me I was being witty and smart, so here’s a comment pulled from a controversial thread, handpicked just for you:

LJUBAWOLJA said:With every new dose, my experience and insight grow; my confidence, security, and peace increase; and everything starts to flow smoothly, spontaneously, and simply. There's an intense feeling of love present.

As you can see, user LJUBAWOLJA is also incredibly witty and sharp, because they used that statement—wrapped in a (clearly brilliant) layer of sarcasm—to explain how LSD works and why you should take it more often.

By the way, that’s called drug promotion, which is totally illegal.

For instance, if LJUBAWOLJA had been slightly less clever—if they had presented their point even half as subtly—they might have written:
"Every time I took it, my experiences and insights grew; my confidence, security, and peace increased; and everything started to flow smoothly, spontaneously, and simply. I felt this intense sense of love." (Well, then it wouldn't be "promotion," just sharing a personal experience, which isn't illegal to mention... unless the Reddit moral police decide to jump in 😁);
But if they had said it that way, the first thing we—the resident moralists—would ask is, "Man, how many times have you actually tripped to make such bold claims?" And that would lead straight to labeling them a junkie or maybe even a dealer, which wouldn't be great for them (or maybe it would, who knows?), and it definitely wouldn't be great for us, the moralists, because our precious "moral high ground"—our little "elite" status—would grant us a massive amount of judgmental points, and then we'd all be stuck in a mess of misery and drama.
Everything was calculated by LJUBAWOLJA, who, being as brilliant as they are, knew exactly what they were doing and outsmarted us all with pure wit.

So, dear Harold Morales, as you can see, this whole thing has layers, making it a fascinating read that shouldn't be dismissed or deleted regardless of US laws—because honestly, what are US laws compared to witty users and the self-appointed moral authorities of the internet?

(@Nex, look, my word doesn't mean much since I'm a total hypocrite. I mean, everyone knows hypocrites lie. Harold Morales, don't even read the stuff in the parentheses 😁)
Is love really blind? in Psychology ·
silentpilot6 said:Reading through that famous controversial thread on Reddit, one question really stuck with me. Is Love actually blind? It probably is deaf and foolish, too...
Initially, I intended to write about women who consciously enter relationships with married men and end up getting burned every single time. They waste years of their lives on some idiot who feeds them lines and promises the moon and stars—promises he almost never keeps. But seeing all the stories posted there, I can't help but wonder if it's just blindness or if people are simply... I'd rather just say they're fools. 😬
I should probably make this personal and reflect on my own past experiences... at one point, I was involved with a married woman. The thing was, she was actually a great person; I genuinely liked her. But the moment I realized this "crush" might turn into something more serious, I walked away. I had no desire to get tangled up in those kinds of situations that almost never have a happy ending.

To get to the point... why do some people allow their partners (and I don't just mean married ones) to treat them like complete fools? Like they're totally blind despite having perfectly good eyesight... essentially, just pushovers.
Where is their logic? Where is their pride? Where is their common sense? Is Love truly blind, deaf, and foolish...
Do people honestly believe that Love conquers all? It doesn't. And even that version of Love (at least the kind we see in these threads) is almost always one-sided.
It’s sad—people suffer, endure pain, and humiliate themselves... they push away friends and family and fall into financial or other messes, all for the sake of people who clearly don't love them back.

Look, you can't go mixing up being "in love" with actual love—that’s a huge mistake. Being in love? That's just a massive hormonal glitch in your brain. Real love is more like this steady, balanced state where we somehow choose to see way less than what's right in front of us, even though our eyes are wide open.
That’s why everyone says love is blind.

So, based on all that—I guess I don't really have any reason to believe she's being 100% honest in that post you just quoted.

I haven't seen you online for a while, so I just wanted to give you a quick nudge regarding some of the stuff we talked about last time we spoke. From where I'm standing, those points actually carry some weight—mostly because I remember us really digging into them together. I don't usually jump into Kenneth Peterson5's critiques—and honestly, I rarely agree with them anyway—but this felt different.
I'm back on the forum—and look, I've already admitted that I can be pretty subjective, so I guess my biases will just have to be corrected as we go. Best regards.

Alright, we'll see about that.

Summary of Kenneth Peterson5's critiques:

I can't believe I'm even looking at this thread again—honestly, some things never change. It’s like watching the same train wreck happen in slow motion every single week. People on Reddit just love to circle the drain, don't they? They get themselves all worked up over absolutely nothing, acting like they've discovered some deep, hidden truth when really they're just shouting into the void. The whole debate is just exhausting. You have people acting like they're experts on everything from theology to high-end audio, and frankly, most of them couldn't find their way out of a paper bag if you gave them a GPS and a flashlight. It’s all just noise. Pure, unadulterated noise. And don't even get me started on the "intellectuals" in the comments. You know the type—the ones who think having a strong opinion is the same thing as actually being right. They jump into these arguments with zero nuance, throwing around big words like they're going out of style, while completely missing the point of the actual conversation. It’s a circus, man. A total circus. Anyway, I'll probably be back here tomorrow to roll my eyes at the next predictable meltdown. It's become a bit of a habit at this point. Honestly, the administration is a total joke—I mean, seriously, how can they just sit there and let people push illegal substances like it’s some kind of free-for-all? It’s absolute madness. You see it happening right under their noses, and instead of actually doing their jobs, they just let the whole thing slide. It’s pure negligence, plain and simple. They’re supposed to be keeping things in check, but at this point, it feels more like they're looking the other way while everything goes to hell. It’s pathetic, really.

So, I’ve gotta call out one of our own board members for this one—it’s honestly pretty wild. This guy drops a line claiming that "Mexicans are an evil, hypocritical, and ugly people," and then acts like he isn't even insulting them? Like, excuse me? Give me a break. It’s just straight-up nonsense—he’s throwing around these heavy, hateful generalizations and then trying to play it cool, acting like it's just a casual observation or some deep truth he stumbled upon. It's total nonsense, really—just pure, unadulterated cynicism masquerading as a "hot take." You can't just toss out slurs against an entire group of people and then shrug your shoulders like you didn't just cross a massive line. It's exhausting, man. Honestly.

I can't believe I'm even looking at this thread—honestly, some people just have way too much free time on their hands. It’s like they live for the drama. Anyway, here's the deal with what's going on over on Reddit lately... So, here we go again—rowdyhawk10 is out here playing judge, jury, and executioner, crying about getting banned for some "hate speech" joke, while simultaneously dropping this absolute bombshell that anyone wearing a cross is basically just pushing a political agenda to oppress people. It’s honestly unreal. One minute he’s acting like the victim because someone called his bluff, and the next he's painting every Christian in America as some kind of political oppressor. Talk about a massive double standard—the hypocrisy is actually exhausting to watch.

Honestly, I’m just sitting here watching this whole thing unfold and—let's be real—the administration is absolutely sleeping at the wheel. It’s pathetic. They’re basically sitting on their hands while their own board members go on these massive hate speech rants, and they aren't doing a single damn thing about it. Like, hello? Are we even running a community here or just a playground for trolls? The sheer lack of follow-through is exhausting. You see these people spewing garbage, and instead of stepping in, the higher-ups just act like they didn't hear it. It’s pure negligence, plain and simple.

I can't believe I'm even looking at this thread again—honestly, my brain feels like mush after wading through all this nonsense on Reddit. It’s just one endless loop of people talking in circles, and frankly, most of them haven't a clue what they're actually discussing. The whole debate about faith and how people interpret these ancient texts is just... exhausting. You have people acting like they've cracked the code of the universe, throwing around references like they're experts, when really they're just shouting into the void. It’s the same old story every single time. One person starts talking about the Bible, someone else jumps in with the Quran, and before you know it, everyone is arguing over semantics instead of actually dealing with reality. And don't even get me started on the "experts" in the comments. They act so high and mighty, like their specific brand of spirituality makes them better than anyone else. It’s pure ego, if you ask me. Just a bunch of people looking for a sense of superiority by claiming they have a direct line to the Spirit or whatever. It’s all just noise. Honestly, most of these discussions could be summarized in five words, yet people spend hours typing out these massive manifestos that change absolutely nothing. It’s a circus, plain and simple. Honestly, looking at Volver... man, what a joke. It’s pretty clear they have zero business trying to moderate anything involving philosophy. Like, seriously? You can't just wing it when people are actually trying to dive deep into real thought. It’s pure incompetence, plain and simple.

I can't believe I'm even looking at this thread again—honestly, some things never change. It’s like watching the same train wreck play out on Reddit over and over. You’ve got people arguing about deep theological stuff like they actually have all the answers, while everyone else is just there to stir the pot or vent about how much everything sucks. The whole thing is just a mess of egos clashing. One minute you're talking about spirituality or some heavy philosophy, and the next, someone like rowdyhawk10 jumps in with an opinion that makes you want to throw your phone across the room. It's all just noise, really. People getting worked up over religious interpretations or trying to act like they've unlocked the secrets of the universe when they're basically just shouting into a void. And don't even get me started on the constant back-and-forth between the believers and the skeptics. It’s exhausting. It’s always the same cycle—someone drops a "truth" bomb, someone else calls it a bad biblical quote, and then the whole thread devolves into a massive argument. It's pure chaos, and honestly? I kind of love watching it burn. It’s the only way to stay awake around here. Honestly, the administration is totally tripping right now—putting one of Komaj’s cult followers in charge of the Spirituality section? Are you kidding me? It’s a complete joke. You can't just hand the keys to the kingdom to someone who follows that guy's weird agenda and expect any kind of actual moderation. It completely kills the vibe when the people running the show are clearly biased toward a specific sect. It’s messy, it’s unprofessional, and frankly, it’s just lazy management. Total disaster.

I can't believe I'm even looking at this again—it’s like digging through a dumpster behind a Taco Bell just to see if there's anything edible left. Honestly, people online are just exhausting. You get these threads where everyone thinks they're some kind of deep-thinking philosopher, but really, they're just shouting into the void. It's all noise. Total noise. Anyway, back to the point—if you actually bother to read what's being said, most of it is just pure nonsense wrapped in a layer of fake intellectualism. It's pathetic, really. People love to argue about things they don't understand just to feel important for five minutes. It doesn't change the reality of how things work, does it? It never does. Everything is just a cycle of the same old arguments, over and over, until we're all too tired to care. Just another day in the digital asylum. The administration is honestly such a joke—they just went ahead and slapped a permanent ban on ja_sanja for absolutely no reason at all, which is totally unfair if you ask me. It’s just pure nonsense. And then, to top off the whole ridiculous situation, Bellwether actually turns around and starts praising them for it? Give me a break. Total nonsense. I can't believe I even have to address this—it's like talking to a brick wall sometimes. Honestly, looking at the absolute chaos happening over on Reddit lately, you really start to wonder if anyone actually uses their brain anymore. It’s just endless, mindless noise. And don't even get me started on what rowdyhawk10 is peddling. Seriously, that guy? He’s out here acting like he’s cracked the code on everything, but it’s all just fluff. It’s pure nonsense wrapped up in a way that makes him sound important, which is honestly pathetic. You see people nodding along to his garbage, and it just makes me want to roll my eyes into the back of my skull. Then you’ve got the rest of them—just drifting through life, picking sides without a single thought about the actual Truth of the matter. It’s exhausting. Everything feels so superficial now, like everyone is just playing a part in some massive, poorly written play. There’s no substance left, just ego and loud voices trying to drown out common sense. It’s enough to make you want to just unplug from everything and disappear....not even realizing we were talking about the exact same person;

So, let me tell you about this moderator over at Adriatic—total joke, right? This guy actually had the nerve to look a whole bunch of us in the eye and call us psychopaths. Like, excuse me? I’ve dealt with all kinds of egos, but the sheer arrogance coming off this dude was next level. He wasn't just being a jerk; he was acting incredibly condescending and completely out of line. Honestly, the way he carries himself—just straight-up rude and unprofessional—is exactly why people lose faith in these online spaces. It's pathetic, really. Just a massive power trip from someone who clearly can't handle a little pushback without throwing a tantrum and insulting everyone in sight. Absolute clown behavior.

I can't believe I'm even looking at this again—honestly, some things just never change. It’s like watching the same bad movie on loop. You look at these threads and you realize people are still circling the same drain, thinking they've found some deep, hidden truth when it's really just more noise. It’s all just endless chatter, isn't it? Everyone's got an opinion, everyone's trying to be the smartest person in the room, but at the end of the day, we're all just staring at the same screen, waiting for something that's never actually going to happen. It's exhausting, man. Just total, soul-crushing exhaustion. Look, I’ve gotta say it—rowdyhawk10 is seriously out of line with how he handles everything. It feels like he's just constantly looking for reasons to go on the attack, and honestly? The way he hands out bans for "racism" seems totally arbitrary at this point. It's getting exhausting watching him play judge and jury whenever someone says something he doesn't like. I honestly don't know why people bother even trying to argue about this stuff anymore—it’s like talking to a brick wall. You see these threads popping up on Reddit all the time where everyone thinks they've cracked the code on deep philosophical truths, but it's just noise. Total noise. Look, I've been around long enough to see the patterns. People get all worked up over one little snippet of text or some half-baked idea, thinking they've found the ultimate Truth, when really they're just circling the drain. It's exhausting. You try to bring some actual logic to the table, and suddenly you're the one getting shouted down by someone who probably hasn't read a book since high school. It's the same old story every single time. Everyone wants to be the smartest person in the room, but nobody actually wants to do the work. They just want the instant gratification of being "right." Honestly, it's pathetic. If you're going to jump into a debate, at least have the decency to show up with some substance—otherwise, you're just wasting everyone's time. And trust me, my time is far too valuable for this kind of nonsense. The mods just nuked the thread—absolute joke. They went after those Christian users from Tazika, claiming there was racism involved, which is total nonsense (unless you’re looking at the world through rowdyhawk10's eyes, I guess).

I don't know about you guys, but I’ve been staring at this whole mess for a while now—just thinking about how much noise there is out there—and honestly? It’s exhausting. People act like they have all the answers, especially when they start throwing around religious arguments or trying to claim some absolute moral high ground. It’s all just a big circle of nonsense if you ask me. And then you’ve got people like rowdyhawk10, always chiming in with that specific brand of "certainty" that just makes my head spin. It’s like they think because they’ve read a certain book or follow a specific philosophy, they’ve suddenly unlocked the secrets of the universe. Newsflash: you haven't. We're all just spinning our wheels here. The more I look into these debates—this constant back-and-forth about spirituality versus logic—the more I realize most of it is just performative. People aren't looking for the Truth; they're looking for an audience. They want to feel right. They want to win the argument. But in the end, what does it actually change? Nothing. It’s just more digital shouting into the void. Anyway, just my two cents. I'm going to go grab a coffee and try to forget this entire thread exists for a few hours. Life's too short to argue about things that were decided thousands of years ago by people who didn't even have indoor plumbing. Look, I’ve gotta call out the Religion moderators for how they handled that appeal book back then—they basically went on a power trip just because someone was reading, which led to blue bird getting banned for absolutely no reason. It was total nonsense. Honestly, can we please add "reading is punishable" to the title of the appeal book? Just so we can avoid these ridiculous, unnecessary bans moving forward. Seriously.

I mean, seriously, can we talk about how much people love to pretend they've got it all figured out? It’s hilarious. Everyone walks around acting like they’ve decoded the universe—especially when it comes to religious debates—but most of them couldn't find their way out of a paper bag without a manual. Look at this thread. You've got people throwing around "truth" like it's something you can just pick up at a convenience store. It’s all just noise, honestly. People get so worked up over these deep spiritual questions, arguing about who’s right and who’s wrong, while completely missing the point that life is just... messy. There's no grand blueprint that everyone magically agrees on. And don't even get me started on the people who act like they're experts because they read one book or watched one documentary. They come in here with these massive egos, trying to lecture anyone who dares to have a different take. It's exhausting. Just total ego trips from start to finish. Honestly, if you want to actually learn something, stop listening to the loudmouths and maybe look inward for once. But hey, that's probably asking too much from this crowd, right? Look, let’s call it what it is—rowdyhawk10 is just out here spreading slander. He’s basically labeling anyone who disagrees with his specific take on the Quran as a terrorist, which is absolute nonsense. It's honestly pathetic—he can't handle the fact that people actually have their own interpretations, so he resorts to these wild accusations just because they don't fall in line with his personal views. Typical.

So, yeah, that pretty much sums up most of my beef—though I’m sure a few folks over at the Philosophy board have their own gripes, but that’s their whole vibe over there.

Since you’re claiming you don't agree with most of my points, I guess that means you think they're totally baseless. Which basically implies you're actually

down with pushing drugs on this forum,
okay with calling people psychopaths,
fine with slandering users and labeling them terrorists—even though, obviously, they aren't (but hey, maybe in your world they are),
totally cool with letting someone who openly advocates for the legalization of group sex run the Spirituality board,
on board with being arrogant and reckless when talking to people here,
and honestly, fine with using hate speech to trash Mexicans and Christians.

Or, at the very least, you're siding with most of that nonsense.

So, honestly, it doesn't exactly make you look like a saint that you constantly push back against Kenneth Peterson5's critiques.

rowdyhawk10 said:I'll admit that I have always been slightly more tolerant of Christians than other groups, even if only by a fraction. Now, there are five or six of them protesting without any real argument, claiming they're being threatened, though everything becomes quite obvious once you take a closer look at the underlying depth of the situation. You are one of the few people here who actually noticed this, and I suppose I should congratulate you on that—you're absolutely right, and I admit it:

So, you were right—I did admit to being subjective. If it helps as some kind of justification, I suppose I’ve been cautious about engaging them in heavy debates for a multitude of reasons. First off, since I’m not a Christian, there’s always the risk that people might weaponize my religious background by claiming they are being "persecuted"—which, to be fair, is exactly what they’ve been doing in several other threads. Second, I’m not the only moderator here; I usually prefer to leave those specific cases to my colleagues so the weight doesn't fall entirely on me, especially since I know just how far a few of them are willing to go. That’s why I’ve focused more of my moderation efforts on the Muslims, whom, if I’m being honest, I probably understand a bit better. Third, there are just so many trolls on this site, and I’m not even sure many people actually see what’s happening—this thread itself is essentially a troll fest—so it’s difficult enough to go toe-to-toe with five trolls, let alone fifty.

And finally, I suppose I just prefer to side with the underdog in any given debate. 😈
(Just kidding! That last part doesn't count.) 🙂

I would argue that these few protesters aren't actually complaining about any perceived injustice from the moderation team. I mean, we have asked them quite openly on numerous occasions: Please provide some examples of how we have been unfair to you. Well, we didn't even receive the bare minimum of arguments to support that... I suppose it’s actually about something else entirely—the religious biases held by certain moderators. Specifically, the way Nicole James and I are being pressured to push for someone else to take over moderation duties. They seem to want someone who isn't part of the "Muslim" group or tied to groups like DIO, for instance. And if a Muslim happens to be a member of DIO, they seem even more insistent on it. 😍

First off, I’m not quite sure who you mean when you say "too many" have left, or specifically who you're referring to. Secondly, I view Kenneth Peterson5's post as just one example among many of her tendency toward relativism and vague generalizations, lacking any concrete factors. For instance, a specific link, a reference to a particular situation or person—that kind of thing would satisfy me.

When it comes to the work I do, I’m interested in specifics.
ASSERTION - PROOF - ... that’s how I operate. 🙂
(and perhaps only then, a REQUEST or ADVICE)

Meanwhile, Kenneth Peterson5 was merely offering requests and advice... and in doing so, she made general (rather than specific) claims that I’m a bad moderator. Because of that, I don't actually know what she is trying to say, so I don't really have anything to agree or disagree with. She simply didn't provide enough information in the post you quoted for me to identify the mistakes she's talking about, nor the "grave injustice" or the "hatred toward Christians" that she claims I am perpetrating here.

Furthermore, and this is quite important: on this FBI subforum, Kenneth Peterson5 has, on numerous occasions, written about me in a very incorrect, untruthful, and harsh manner, accusing me of the most inhumane things possible... often describing me as the lowest, most flagrant type of person. I can provide links if necessary, since her posts are all still there... but just one example: here... if I were even a fraction of that, I wouldn't just "step down," I’d grab myself by the collar and toss myself into a dumpster. And this style of hers (the true cause of which I haven't identified) has been going on for a long time—she says it's been a whole year now—but I never once replied to those accusations. I just watched from the sidelines, trying to connect the dots... At times, I honestly thought she hated me, and at other times, I thought she liked me... To be honest, even today, I'm not entirely clear on it. Granted, she did apologize here (saying "it serves me no purpose, truly") while explaining that she was driven by some "higher purpose." It is precisely that excuse that makes me think things might settle themselves out very soon.

Consequently, I have no reason to believe she is being completely sincere in the post you quoted. She was sincere last night when she apologized to me in a private message, which I accepted gladly and with genuine warmth... though even then (as it is now), it wasn't clear to me what she was actually apologizing for. It seems to me she has been studying "me" quite thoroughly both here and outside of this PDF, and I have no idea who else she has been writing about me to, besides here on the forum.

Just come back to the forum; my subjectivity, which I have admitted to, will, God willing, be corrected. Best regards,

Ugh, Kenneth Peterson5. Always something with her. 🙄

First off, let’s settle the whole apology thing.
I’ve been trying for a long time to find the good in you (because trust me, I know it’s in there somewhere), but every single time, you let me down with how you treat Christians and Muslims who don't agree with you. I saw that you just weren't getting it, and I felt bad for you, so yeah, an apology followed. I truly regret that I couldn't help everyone who got burned by your behavior, and I also regret that I couldn't help you see just how much you're messing up in your little crusade.

Now, let’s talk about criticism versus just being a critic.
It’s become crystal clear to me that there is a massive difference between offering actual critique and just being critical. The difference is simple: someone who understands real critique takes it to heart, which means they don't need to be nagged further. On the flip side, if someone doesn't get it—or just refuses to listen because it hurts their ego—you could spend tomorrow criticizing them and it would still be pointless
. On top of that, I’ve realized we actually have a lot in common, specifically in our obsession with fighting for a "higher cause"—basically, the fight against injustice.
Because, look,
While I’ve spent the last year systematically hunting you down (okay, "critiquing" you) on this forum, you’ve spent the last year systematically hunting down (pointing out "problematic" users) Christians and Muslims who disagree with you.
So, we’re both incredibly stubborn about pursuing our "higher causes." The only real difference is that my "higher cause" is being able to look at myself in the mirror tomorrow morning.

If anyone wants to understand why injustice gets under my skin so much, I have to mention again that I’ve been dealing with chronic PTSD for years. Just the thought of war, or seeing those patterns repeat themselves, absolutely terrifies me.

And you, rowdyhawk10, you’re constantly at war, and your victims are always getting caught in the crossfire. It would have been impossible for me not to step in and defend the people who were most hurt by your toxic and, frankly, crazy behavior.

See, rowdyhawk10, you used your posts to act like the "nice guy" to everyone, which earned you favor with the users and even the moderators. You try to keep that favor through brown-nosing the admins and sucking up to users—especially atheists and agnostics—hoping you can eventually convert them to Islam. Unfortunately, there are always people who fall for that kind of act. And yeah, I was one of them once.

The truth is, what you’re doing here creates a toxic environment. It builds this image that ALL Muslims are just like you.
I’m certain the Muslims on this forum feel that too, and they’re already fed up because your actions cast a shadow over all of them!
You’re creating an atmosphere fueled by hate, mostly between Christians and Muslims, and you’ve contributed to it more than anyone else through your moderation.

And honestly, sending links to all the bad stuff you do is pointless now. I mean, when the admin team didn't react to banning the user black&white—whom you slandered and labeled a terrorist—when they ignored your hate speech toward Christians, and when Radu dropped his score from 500 to 35 points (which is ridiculous because he never deserved such a low score) instead of banning him entirely, while *still* keeping you on as a moderator... then it's just hopeless.Man, this administration is just pathetic.
I’m standing behind everything you said in that reply to steelskipper5—every single word of it. That first point was pure, unadulterated sarcasm, and that second one? Honestly, that’s about as much kindness as I can muster given my current state of mind.

At the end of the day, thanks to being "well-educated" by the whole Shady situation—yeah, I'm looking at you, rowdyhawk10—I really don't see myself having the energy to call out any more injustices anytime soon. I seriously doubt I'll have the will to offer even a shred of constructive criticism to anyone running this Reddit board, because from where I'm sitting, it feels like you can't get anything done with these people anyway.

Later,
I’ve gotta say, that opening post above is actually a masterclass in how people should be talking on this board—you know, being polite regardless of who you're dealing with, even if the whole reason this PDF exists is because everyone here can't seem to play nice.

First off, even though I’m not exactly a daily chatter, I was honestly loving that "Chatam ergo sum" thread, so it sucks that it got locked. It’s just wild watching all this drama unfold over opening and closing these so-called "chat topics."

Also, since the threads I started ( Spirituality through Film and Photography , Spirituality and Philosophy in Poetry ) have been shut down too, I’ve got one more thing to get off my chest:
Those two specific threads were the only spots on this entire Spirituality board where people actually behaved themselves—they were basically the only places we could go to just, you know, let our souls breathe. Seeing them get nuked is a real shame.

(@colour, you’re an absolute legend. 🙏 I was honestly tempted to just take the hit, grab a warning for being rude, and point out that Bellwether isn't quite sharp enough to realize how clueless Florine is being—but I figured this "complaint" might not even fly anyway—so, in your honor, I’ll hold back. 😁)

Steven Clark2 said:Man, I tell ya... Kenneth Peterson5Seriously though, guys—can we just chill out for a second? Like, take a breather? What is actually wrong with you people?? 😢

Look, no Nick, I honestly don't know how much more of this crap your stomach can take—seriously, how much can one guy endure? —but ever since my brother (who’s just a regular black-and-white poster, mind you, along with a few other folks around here) got slapped with that "terrorist" label by Shady and then permanently banned without even breaking a sweat, I’ve been trying to point out all the absolute nonsense going down on this forum. It feels like I'm shouting into a void, though. I try to call out the injustice, but nothing sticks. It's just a total wash.

It’s just one injustice after another—seriously, it never stops. I don't catch everything since I spend way more time buried in philosophy PDFs than scrolling through this junk, but whenever I actually bother to show up here, it's always some new horror story. Just constant nonsense.

Honestly, I’ve finally had it—the absolute last straw. After that whole hateful rant Shadyjev went on against Christians—which, by the way, the mods are just completely ignoring—then we see some guy like Rade K. getting slapped with 500 points for absolutely nothing? And then, as if that wasn't enough of a joke, they act like they're doing us a favor by "correcting" things and dropping him down to 35 points for no reason at all!!! It's a total circus.

And then I saw it—just straight-up mockery of user stvorenje (basically his entire existence, if you ask me) done in that classic, shameless Shadyjev way of trolling. Honestly, there was no need to go on this systematic crusade through the forums just to hunt him down and hand out red cards like, "Oh, only Shady actually gets it, and he’s the only one who knows why," all leading up to a permanent ban. At the end of the day, stvorenje just walked away on his own, and man... that actually kind of sucked. It hit me harder than I expected.

So, how exactly do the moderators over at Religion and that absolutely "censored" administration feel about hi Fi-j pulling his act and leaving this PDF? Honestly, it just goes to prove what I’ve been saying all along—some things are better left alone. You start poking around where you don't belong, and you're just gonna end up making a massive mess. It's like opening a can of worms that's already rotting; you're only digging up more stench.

Look, I'm not about that life—being stuck in a room where everyone else is just... there. You know what I mean? Like, you aren't the villain and you aren't the hero, you’re just a bystander, but they make it *so* incredibly obvious that things would run smoother if you just vanished. It’s that constant, subtle nudge, that systemic "we wish you weren't here" vibe that eventually wears you down until you just walk away out of pure spite and disappointment. Honestly? For me, that’s just not an option. I'm not playing those games.

Sending you some good vibes—enjoy yourself!

Rebecca Rivera2, I totally get where you're coming from. Honestly, I'm just done trying to fix things that are fundamentally broken—it's like trying to teach a cat to bark at this point.

So, yeah, I'm checking out of this religion sub here. I've reached my limit, and frankly, I don't have the energy to type another word in this thread (unless I'm just dropping some cool shots in that other thread about religious iconography in movies and photography).

Look, once you realize you can't right the wrongs because there’s zero critical mass to actually make an impact—and let's face it, every attempt to build that momentum just hits a brick wall—the smartest move is to just find a new scene.

Hopefully, our paths cross in another corner of the site—maybe over in Philosophy.

Catch you all later.

rowdyhawk10 said:I believe the situation has been described with surgical precision. For instance, I am here again, and once more here I have posed the question of providing just one single argument regarding this supposed threat. I still haven't received one. Therefore, it seems quite clear that the issue lies solely in the fact that all forum members (which certainly includes Christians) need to get used to differing opinions, maintain their dignity, and respect interlocutors who think differently. If a topic is sensitive, one should defend their own positions through a civilized approach and sufficient arguments, without resorting to personal motives, "suspicious intentions", or other levels of psychological profiling of an opponent who holds a different view. That has been a very frequent occurrence so far: "We know what you're up to...!!!" — and then they lash out personally. And when we don't do that, it turns out we are somehow threatening someone.

This is a relativistic way of writing, where nothing concrete is actually stated or proven. I am asking you to provide one specific and clear example. Just one single example of your being threatened. Is anyone here preventing you from expressing your beliefs and life stances in complete freedom? I expect an honest answer.

What trolling is, is defined in the Reddit rules and the rules of the Religion sub-forum.

Your post is trolling. A man with over 3,000 posts who has been on the Religion sub-forum for a very long time and knows things here quite well has expressed his opinion on the current state of affairs. He didn't call anyone a provocateur, he didn't call anyone out by name, nor did he launch a personal attack against anyone. Yet you, in replying to him, begin right from the start like this:"Look, you're just being a troll and a provocateur..."

You spend time describing Tyndall and pointing out which group he belongs to, essentially trying to disqualify him beforehand as someone biased or unfair.

Or consider when someone starts a somewhat sensitive thread regarding Christianity (where they present a viewpoint that contradicts official Church teaching) and then someone jumps in with a comment like: "Listen, you troll and provocateur acting on religion, you're one of those..." Or perhaps: "We all know who you are and what kind of person you are (insert various insults here)", "we know people like you; you're part of that (this or that) crowd".

For those who haven't been following closely: this isn't some massive wave of complaints. It involves far too few people to be making such a huge scene about it. At the same time, I'd ask everyone currently protesting—and anyone who has ever protested over anything—to move toward actual, concrete action. Everything can be fixed if there is genuine will. Perhaps, out of respect for our time, it would be better to simply send moderators direct messages without getting bogged down in endless details or tiny specifics to point out a particular issue. For instance, mention if someone is constantly breaking the rules, or if there's an issue with a specific thread. That way, things could be resolved much more efficiently as they happen. Best regards.

But here’s the real deal—the Truth is that there are about 30 regular users on the Religion sub-forum who are seriously fed up with how you moderate, and it’s been going on for a long, long time.
And look, it’s not just Christians we're talking about—Muslims and agnostics are feeling it too.

I have to admit, rowdyhawk10, I used to be totally into your posts. You actually made me hang around the Religion section more often than I probably should.
When you stepped up as a moderator, I was one of the first people cheering you on, thinking, "Man, this sub just got the best moderator ever." To someone just skimming the surface, you might still seem like the perfect fit—but honestly? That couldn't be further from the truth.

I’ve been calling out your moderation for a year now—sometimes politely, sometimes... well, not so politely (which isn't my best look, I get it)—because the injustice you dish out is driving me crazy. It's not just directed at Christians; it's hitting Muslims and anyone else who doesn't jump through your hoops.

Personally, I’ve never had a run-in with you, so maybe I’m being a bit more objective than most, but the people complaining about your unfair deletions, warnings, and permanent bans? They're right.

You are a terrible moderator. Just, plain bad.
Please, for the sake of Miro—and yes, I capitalized that for a reason—just step down from the mod role and go back to being a regular user. Let us actually enjoy your posts again. Don't force us all to start turning our backs on you—because, honestly, besides legal threats and making headlines (which none of us really want to deal with, even if it's still an option on the table), that's all we've got left.

Just be rowdyhawk10 again—the guy we actually liked and thought was cool.

I’m laying this all out here completely straight and from the heart. I'm making it public because I want everyone to see it—especially those who have forgotten the good parts of you because of the constant unfairness you're pushing.

Best,
silentpilot6 said:I’ll admit this topic feels a bit discriminatory, but I also find it incredibly real and, frankly, quite an interesting question to pose.

To give you a specific example... I have a neighbor who is a lovely, attractive woman 🙂, but she has two cases of schizophrenia in her immediate family—her mother and her uncle. Since we know this condition can be hereditary in many instances, would I enter a relationship with someone like her? To be honest, I wouldn't... both because of her own potential struggles and the risk that our children (if we ever reached that stage 😁) might inherit it too.
With all due respect to those living with the illness, I wouldn't knowingly start a relationship with someone who is either currently struggling or faces a very high probability of developing it.
Of course, I realize it's a completely different story if I were already in a committed relationship where we were deeply in love 😍 and then discovered these facts later on...

Sorry, silentpilot6, I won't give you a direct answer to your question, but honestly, the prompt is so provocative that I'm actually kind of enjoying myself while typing this out.

See, here's the thing: I am mentally ill myself. I used to be a psychoanalyst by trade (not doing that anymore, though, because being mentally unstable makes me feel like I'd just drag down anyone else who's in the same boat), and I'll tell you straight up—I understand how exhausting it is to be around people like me, mostly because it's hard enough just being around *myself* when I'm actually present.

Nobody takes me seriously, yet everyone wants to be with me. 😢 (Kidding! Nobody wants to be with me—I'm not exactly a knockout and I'm broke as hell, but I had to say it just to fit the vibe.)

Another thing—since you brought up schizophrenia, that usually hits between ages 18 and 22. So, watch out: if you happen to fall for someone who seems fine but they're under 22...
Maybe just wait until they're 45, just to be safe, since MS tends to pop up between 20 and 40. And so on, and so forth... all the way to Alzheimer.
Honestly, the safest bet is to wait until they're at least 70, then you can go for it—along with a fat Social Security check!

Anyway, don't blame me for venting; I'm not really in my right mind lately, so you can basically take this whole opinion with a grain of salt.

Later,
A mentally ill person 😍
..................

Alright, jokes aside, let's get serious for a second.
If you ever find yourself falling for someone who is significantly ill, and you truly, deeply love them, their illness won't be a dealbreaker. You'll feel this overwhelming need to protect them—from the world, and sometimes even from themselves.
Plus, there's always that flicker of hope that your love and your life together can somehow beat the illness.
Miracles happen. If people can beat cancer after oncologists have basically given up on them, why couldn't they overcome schizophrenia, manic depression, or whatever else?

Honestly, I’ve just been sitting here watching rowdyhawk10 fight for the Truth with this weird kind of respect—the guy is so dialed into the Spirit that he can see right through the fake personas people use to mess with good folks.
You have to remember that according to Islam, polytheism is the ultimate sin, so from the perspective of someone as enlightened as rowdyhawk10, Christians are basically the biggest sinners out there.
So, yeah,
even with all of rowdyhawk10's hate speech toward Christians—which isn't just noticed by the regular users, but even by some of the forum admins—I still think we should tip our hats to him. There's a real chance his whole persona was actually meant to be a new prophet—the kind of figure that Jews, Christians, and Muslims are all waiting for!

The truth is, the admin team led by Bellwether, along with the owner (who is fully aware of the hate speech happening on the site), realized this a long time ago. That's why they don't bother reacting to the nonsense being flagged; they know what really matters for the greater good—uniting everyone under "Islam according to Shady."

rowdyhawk10 is with you 🙏😍

Listen up,

Since hate speech is actually illegal—and since you guys went ahead and shut down this thread just because I was trying to politely call out the hateful garbage coming straight from your own moderators—I have to ask: do you realize you’re basically endorsing their hate speech? You've effectively tied my hands, preventing me from doing my civic duty by reporting this whole mess to the U.S. Attorney General for violating the Constitution of the United States.

In case anyone here was oblivious, this issue is way bigger than what I've been trying to tell you for over a year now—back when I was pointing out how much of a mistake it is to let people advertise illegal substances like LSD or weed right here on your forum.

I’m really hoping I won't be forced to take legal action against the admins of a site I actually enjoy hanging out on, and I'm praying you finally decide to sit down, read the original post of that locked thread from start to finish, and actually realize what the hell is going on here.

Best regards,

I noticed that too, but honestly? I don't see that specific slur as "hate speech"—it’s just an insult, plain and simple. So, sorry, but I’m sticking to what actually keeps me up at night regarding this whole Reddit mess—something you can easily verify yourself if you just click my profile and look at the threads I’ve been starting lately.

But yeah, you're spot on—it is beyond rude when a moderator treats users like garbage. I really hope someone addresses that issue soon, or at least gets a public apology out there.

Look, Slim Shady—and I’ve been warned by several people over on Reddit about this—your claim that "this symbol (Jesus's cross) is actually just a political symbol at its core. And anyone using it as such, wearing it around their neck, is basically representing a political agenda of oppression, even if they don't realize it," is way too significant to just brush aside given how massive your opening post was. So, I'm calling you out here—are you actually even aware that your statement is straight-up hate speech (against Christians)?

Honestly, I’m just sitting here completely floored—totally blindsided, really—by so much of this. I mean, there are just so many things that have caught me off guard lately, especially with how everything is unfolding right now... it's just wild. I don't even know where to start with this one—honestly, just looking at it makes me want to roll my eyes into the back of my skull. It’s just... wow. Typical. Everything about this is just completely off, and honestly? I'm over it. Just total nonsense from start to finish. Look, folks, I honestly feel like I should just step up and lead by example here—it’s basically my civic duty at this point, right? I mean, if we aren't out there looking out for a friend in need, then what are we even doing?
So, basically...

Hey, Slim Shady—mod, if you're actually reading this...

After your massive—and let's be honest, let's call it "well-intentioned"—rant where you basically just shut down the whole conversation by circling back to that opening sentence... man, that was aggressive. Especially with that link you dropped in there, which honestly felt like a total slap in the face. Look, let's call a spade a spade—this whole thread is just a massive pile of hate speech disguised as "opinion." It’s honestly exhausting. You see it everywhere lately, people hiding behind their screens thinking they can just spew whatever venom they want without anyone calling them out on it. It's pathetic, really. I'm tired of seeing this kind of toxicity cluttering up my feed—it's just low-effort, hateful garbage from people who clearly have nothing better to do with their lives than pick fights and tear others down. Honestly, it’s just gross.Look, just as a little thank you—and honestly, more like a suggestion if you want my two cents—here’s what I’m thinking:

Since you guys are clearly acting like you "don't understand" what hate speech actually means—as if it’s somehow not your fault that you're totally clueless—and since it seems like the concept of actual humor is completely lost on you, I’m taking the liberty of dropping some links here. Hopefully, they can help with whatever slow cognitive process you've got going on.

So, what actually counts as hate speech these days? It’s such a massive, messy question—honestly, it feels like everyone has their own personal definition depending on how much they want to stir the pot. But when you look at how political discourse on sites like Reddit shapes what people actually believe, it gets even weirder. It’s like this constant cycle where certain voices get amplified, others get shut down, and suddenly the "public opinion" isn't even public anymore—it's just a bunch of echo chambers shouting at each other until everyone's convinced they're right and the other side is just out to destroy society. It's exhausting, really. Look, this is gonna be a bit of a long-winded rant—sorry in advance—but if any of this actually means anything to you, just know that you were mentioned right toward the end of my opening post.
Look, I’m telling you—humor is basically just a coping mechanism for the absolute chaos we call life. It’s that weird, glitchy little spark that hits you right when everything is falling apart—like when your car breaks down in the middle of a blizzard or your boss decides to launch a "synergy initiative" at 4:55 PM on a Friday. You either laugh, or you lose your mind. There isn't really a third option, honestly. People try to get all academic about it, too—analyzing timing or subverting expectations like they're dissecting a frog in a lab—but it’s way simpler and much darker than that. Real humor? It’s the absurdity of it all. It’s finding the punchline in a tragedy before the tragedy actually finishes swallowing you whole. It's cynical, sure, but if you aren't laughing at the sheer ridiculousness of existence, then you're just asking for a breakdown. Trust me, I've been there. Anyway, point being: stay skeptical, keep laughing, and don't take any of this seriously. It's all a joke anyway. Look, don't get mad at me, but honestly? English just handles the whole definition and scope of what "humor" actually means way better—it’s just more nuanced. So, if you're feeling salty about it, don't be. Just grab someone you actually like and have them translate the whole thing back into your native tongue. Simple as that.

Well, there you go—I hope that actually helped even a little bit.

Since you’re such a regular on Reddit, I’m curious—how exactly did you manage to sniff out all that "hate speech" in the post linked above? It’s funny, really. You’ve labeled this person a Christian who—according to your own logic—is basically pushing a platform of exclusion, even if they aren't doing it on purpose. So, look, maybe take a second to actually sit with that idea? Seriously, you might want to give this whole topic and these friendly little suggestions some actual thought.

Look, if I totally misread your "good intentions" while you were busy moderating that Religion PDF—and honestly, maybe I did, who knows—then I’m asking for one thing: just give us a straight answer. Seriously. Give us a reply so simple even a toddler could grasp it, where you actually explain what you're doing. Just lay out your logic so we can finally, hopefully once and for all, stop the constant nitpicking of your persona.
Look, let me just start by offering my sincere apologies for any blunt or borderline rude comments I’ve made in this thread—I mean it. At the same time, I’m fully prepared for everyone to turn around and call me a massive idiot, too. Honestly? I wouldn't even be surprised.

Hey there!

*Look, I’m posting this publicly—not just because it fits the title of the PDF I'm looking at, but because I genuinely want to help everyone here on Reddit. Honestly, I feel like I need to stage an intervention for that one specific board member over at Reddit who still hasn't grasped the basic concept of what "hate speech" actually means. Seriously—they’re out here playing with fire, and if they don't get it together, they're probably going to end up hurting themselves or someone else in the process. It's just common sense, really..

**You really need to go check out the opening post in that linked thread—it breaks down exactly what people actually mean when they throw around the term "hate speech."
