James Roberts87 said:If it’s garbage, it’s garbage. Total trash is just crap to me. It’s so stupidly unrealistic and makes zero sense that I can't even laugh at it. I'm not some five-year-old kid who thinks this stuff is cool.
That’s exactly who they're aiming for—kids. My brother is 16, and he thinks it's awesome.
Just saying, this movie is pure trash. There’s no way it could be any worse. If you actually want to sit through this, you have to completely turn your brain off. You can't ask a single logical question like, "Wait, how does he know that?" or "Where did they even get that from?" or "Where did those women even come from?" You just can't.
Kevin Anderson69 said:Why do you even care? You clearly haven't seen the movie. I'm just gonna repost what I wrote on another forum where actual car enthusiasts hang out.
1. Where are these high school punks getting the cash for cars like a 350Z? It would take them forever just to tune one up properly. I worked my whole way through high school, and all I ever had was a beat-up old Chevy Nova and a Vespa (not counting my Panda). Both were absolute junk. I still ride that Vespa...
2. Where do they get those massive garages filled with all that gear? Half the tools I own, I had to buy one by one, and the other half I picked up at Home Depot or Walmart.
3. Four 13" tires$1000. He's talking about putting on a fourth set of tires, but I highly doubt he's actually driving on the interstate (unless his cousin lives in rural Wyoming).
4. Did they seriously put a Renault engine in that Mustang? Henry Ford is probably turning in his grave right now.
There’s a million other stupid things, but I don't feel like typing them all out. I'd need to grab a pen and paper just to keep track while I watch. Basically, points 1, 2, and 3—I can't decide which part is more garbage. When it comes to car movies, my favorite is "Gone in 60 Seconds" with Nicolas Cage and Eleanor.
This movie is pure trash.
I'd sign off on that last sentence alone. 😁
As for the answer to those four big questions, I'll sum it up in one:
I have to be honest, handball isn't really doing much for me right now. Once the World Cup rolls around, sure, I'll tune in to some games, but I'm not going to go out of my way for it.🙂
I think we’re getting off track here. I'm pretty sure the OP was talking about those crappy DivX files—you know, the ones recorded in a movie theater where you can clearly see the back of people's heads in the crowd. Since there are plenty of idiots out there who actually enjoy watching those, I want to know why.
Comparing an MP3 to a DivX file is technically possible, but it’s a bit of an apples-to-oranges situation. A standard music CD usually just holds the tracks, whereas DVDs come packed with extras, menus, different subtitle tracks, surround sound, and all that junk. When it comes to that level of complexity, DivX doesn't even stand a chance.
When it comes to DivX, I honestly only care about porn because you can cram a ton of "movies" onto a hard drive or a DVD that way. I’m also interested in series since they have so many episodes and it’s just easier to fit everything onto DVDs. But as far as regular movies go? No thanks. The theater or a physical DVD will always be my choice.
I've been using Final Cut Pro up until now, but I'm honestly sick of dealing with Handbrake whenever I try to convert AVI to MPG. I just want something automated that actually makes my life easier.🙂
Does anyone have a copy of The Thing on DVD I could borrow? It’s been forever since I watched it, but I still vividly remember all that snow. E. T. is better for kids, but The Thing is definitely for the older crowd.

Then again, you’ve got plenty of them who aren't like that at all and stay in long-term, committed relationships.
I’m talking about that first group. A lot of gay men come into contact with them, and that alone is why the blood donation restrictions exist. That’s really all there is to it.
placidsurfer86 said:Are you actually sure about that?
I think it’s pretty obvious. It’s basically a defining trait for them. Just look at how many ads pop up online or the stuff you see posted all over the West. Don't worry, you won't see any posts saying, "Hey, I'm a hot girl, call me at 555-0199 if you want to hook up." Women only do that when they're chasing a paycheck.
You’re all looking at this way too narrowly. It’s simple math: a huge chunk of the gay community is promiscuous, and that’s just a fact. If you're gay, finding sex doesn't take much effort. For everyone else, it’s a lot harder—just look at "Lonely Heart." That rule exists specifically because of those hyper-promiscuous guys. Look, someone might have slept with a man once and now thinks the ban is stupid. But how many men did that other guy sleep with? There’s logic here. Use your heads.
James Roberts87 said:There isn't much to say about page 6.😕 Skiing isn't some deep philosophy. I don't get why people act like soccer is some intellectual pursuit. You just run around for 90 minutes chasing a leather bladder and try to shove it into a 7x2.5 goal frame. When it happens, everyone loses their minds. That's it.
Does soccer draw crowds of over 100,000 to a stadium, or does skiing? The answer to that tells you everything you need to know about "why." It explains why there's more money in soccer, too. Using Ljubičić as a comparison to soccer players doesn't even make sense since he pulls in more than most pros anyway. Tennis is extremely well-paid and highly respected. Plus, it's actually interesting to watch.
Look, you could write six pages on soccer and still not cover it all. There are endless clubs, players, matches, and leagues out there. Janica is an outlier, and her career spans about thirty years, but even then, the competition stays pretty much the same. At its core, skiing isn't some deep philosophy; it’s just "get through the gates as fast as you can." There isn't enough tactical depth or constant drama to justify writing six pages every single day. It doesn't hold up here. Take Orlando, for example. They have a local version of the Sun-Sentinel where literally 20 out of 25 pages are dedicated to Valencia F.C. daily. Imagine what it's like in Madrid or Barcelona...
