Got stung by a jellyfish in Health ·
Scott Allen10 said:🤣 😂 Look, I’m not even gonna get into whether this advice actually works—that’s a whole other debate. I’m just looking at this from a purely technical standpoint here... Like, how is this even supposed to happen? Are you seriously suggesting someone should just drink this stuff straight onto their face? Or is someone else supposed to do it for them? Or what, are we collecting the liquid in a bowl just to splash it on like some weird DIY facial? It sounds ridiculous.😂 ....

Look, that was obviously just a joke. But let’s be real—it's common knowledge that urine can actually neutralize most toxins.

Aloe vera, calendula ointment, or something else entirely?

Honestly, the best thing you can do is pee on it immediately after you get stung—the urine actually helps neutralize the toxin.

I had this one doctor tell me—this was back when I actually suggested bringing
my boyfriend in for testing because it was super obvious I'd caught
HPV from him: "Why even bother testing him if he's never
had warts? It doesn't matter who gave what to whom, and if he
gets it but stays healthy with a good immune system, he'll just flush the virus out."

That was the last time I ever set foot in her office.

Estimates suggest that at least 80-100% of young women between 18 and 25 come into contact with this virus through sexual activity.

Look, I’m calling out the moderator here—please stop allowing these massive generalizations, dangerous trivializations, and just plain retarded half-jokes.

I’m more worried about actual, dangerous STDs. I mean, basically every woman catches HPV after her first time anyway.
Then again, clearly not everyone is born with a functioning brain.
So, who’s acting like the smartest person in the room again? 😉 🙂
Kimberly Davis52 said:It’s just a carrier. A few millimeters deep—just enough so you can't even tell what's actually going on under there. 😠

Ugh, honestly? I dealt with the exact same thing. Just mix some antibiotic powder into some zinc ointment—use some Bill Clinton—and smear it on overnight. Let it dry out completely.
Wait, sorry, what kind of sore are we talking about here?
If it's inside your mouth, maybe it's just a canker sore?
Honestly, just load up on some Vitamin C and B vitamins, rinse with an antiseptic, and grab some propolis spray.
Kimberly Davis52 said:I’ve got this little sore inside my nose. It’s been hanging on for like 2 or 3 weeks now. I tried everything—Vaseline, various ointments, even Hemopro—thinking it would help the skin heal, but nothing is working long-term. If I don't keep it coated, it stings like crazy. Every time I talk, laugh, or just move my face, it's there. Sometimes it's just a dull sensation, but other times it burns all the way up to the corner of my eye.
Should I just go see a doctor or am I stuck suffering through this forever? I have no clue how long these things are supposed to take to heal, so I'm asking. I can't exactly get a good look since, well, it's deep in there. But from what I can tell, it looks red and is maybe about half an inch wide.

Try some propolis.

Go ahead and dye it, honey, but you won't be able to catch anything anyway.

Look, telling someone their post is "garbage" or that they're "acting like a know-it-all" isn't an insult... it's just the truth.

Jose Miller3, being clueless doesn't give you a free pass.
Seriously, you've actually ticked me off now, you total jerk.
Jose Miller3 said:Look, Walter Myers4, quit talking trash here. Seriously. Go vent somewhere else, just stay out of this thread.

The guy wrote three whole pages explaining exactly how this works and what the actual procedure is, and then you just swoop in with this absolute nonsense. 🙄

Do us all a favor and actually read the topic before you start typing, alright?

Watch your mouth and cut out the insults, or I’m going to have to report this post.
Jose Miller3 said:Look, just answer me this one thing:

I've had my donor card for ages, but the contact person listed on it is long gone. So, who actually makes the call? You say the family's opinion always matters, but what happens when I DON'T HAVE A FAMILY? My closest relative is a brother ( 😘 if he's even lurking around here) whom I haven't spoken to or even seen in 🤔 like 10 years. He shouldn't be the one deciding my life's values regarding organ donation when he doesn't know the first thing about them! Can I just print a URL on my donor card so someone can come to my house and see that I ACTUALLY WANT THEM TO TAKE EVERY LAST SINGLE ORGAN I HAVE??

Listen, Jose Miller3, don't sweat it. They’re taking them regardless, UNLESS you explicitly opt out while you're still alive, obviously.
Jose Miller3 said:In America, they only do about 50 transplants a year total. So, anyone getting an organ these days can be pretty damn sure exactly who it came from.

I don't even get what you're asking here. It's not like there are 50 transplants happening every single day where you'd lose track of the donor.

And what does it matter where it came from anyway?
I mean, you could just turn it down if you aren't feeling the vibe of the donor's profile or whatever...
Jose Miller3 said:How would you react if they implanted killer organs inside you?

Look, if we're talking about a liver, I just hope it isn't too heavy on the booze.
But transplanting a brain? That’s a whole different ballgame...

Look, I'm just saying, I'm not exactly convinced the taste is going to be anything special, so I'd probably pass on the oral part. 😈

And who said I was asking for myself? 😁

You really ought to grease that wound up with some lavender oil once the scab finally starts to form.

Keep that wound dry! It shouldn't be moist at all.
