Look, I totally agree that self-confidence is everything. And honestly? It usually comes down to how much love you were showered with when you were just a kid.

It’s like, since they know they can just charm their way through life, why bother actually building a personality or some actual substance? Maybe it's just me being cynical, I don't know...
I'm right there with you. Honestly, when I meet someone who's clearly a ten, the total lack of a moral compass usually scares the hell out of me.
Male circumcision could slash HIV risk by a massive 50%!
Get this: getting circumcised might actually drop the chances of catching HIV in heterosexual men by about 50 percent. That’s what scientists found after running studies on 8,000 guys over in Uganda and Kenya. They were supposed to keep going until July 2007, but once they saw those initial numbers, the National Institutes of Health pulled the plug. They decided it just wasn't ethical to leave the control group unprotected when the data was already looking that clear.
macka said:ugh, I wish I could just whip this up at home... but nope, stuck at work, totally at the mercy of the crew here at the diner 😢 should I ask them to throw in some steamed veggies too? Or maybe tell them to hit it with a little olive oil?
Don't go overboard with the oil, seriously. It'll just kickstart your digestion way too fast 😁
macka said:Ugh... man, it hit me on Saturday. I didn't actually throw up, but out of nowhere my stomach started cramping like crazy, making all these insane noises, and the nausea was real—not quite "running to the bathroom" level, but enough, plus this killer headache! Yesterday morning and this morning I had diarrhea 🙂 Now I'm just sitting here nursing some tea and dry toast... even thinking about actual food makes me feel sick to my stomach... and my gut is still making all kinds of weird noises... 😢
Should I try eating some rice for lunch?
Oh, and don't strain it! You want all that good stuff left in there. Make it thick, pack it with garlic, bacon, and olive oil. Throw in some celery too. 👍
I didn't deal with the stomach issues, but man, the vomiting was brutal and I felt totally wiped out for a few days straight. Now I'm starting to turn a corner with that, but instead, I've got this nasty sinus infection and bronchitis kicking my ass—and I don't even smoke!
ruggedmaker36 said:Man, last night absolutely wrecked me. From 9 PM until 4:30 in the morning, I was puking my guts out at least nine times, and don't even get me started on the diarrhea—it was just as frequent. On top of that, I had this constant, agonizing gut pain that didn't let up for nine straight hours. No fever or anything, but I honestly thought I was dying from the pain. I haven't eaten a single thing today besides a little bowl of soup. Just sipping tea all day long. The runs are still going, though they're a bit weaker now. I am completely drained... I look like I've got a terminal illness.
Hopefully you're just exaggerating how bad you look😁 Are you sure you didn't drink anything?😁
Real juice doesn't have any added sugar, and you're getting about 7 to 10 pounds of actual oranges in a single liter. It’s a solid way to kickstart your day with some vitamins. Second off, soda is total crap, even if I personally prefer it over coffee when I need a massive jolt to actually get stuff done. Plus, because of its weird chemical makeup, it somehow works wonders for settling an upset stomach during a stomach bug in record time. Third, if we're gonna sit here and talk about American garbage, look at those awful pancakes smothered in maple syrup people eat for breakfast 😁 or those Uncle Ben's sauces. Anyway, juice is a decent invention. And Jazz 👍
Dealing with a basic case of stomach flu is mostly about playing catch-up. You’re just trying to swap out all those lost fluids and electrolytes with things like herbal tea or some salty broth. If you've got kids, you'll want to use an oral rehydration solution—something like Pedialyte—to keep them steady. Honestly, you should only be looking at an IV drip in the more serious cases when they can't keep anything down.
Just a heads-up in case you haven't been hit by this crap yet—here’s what’s coming for you: it hits fast, usually starts with a mild fever and just feeling totally wiped out. Then comes the stomach pain and those sudden, violent bouts of vomiting. It’s basically a viral infection that rips through your respiratory system and your entire digestive tract at once. It spreads like wildfire among kids. The absolute worst part? While you're in the thick of it, you can't keep a single thing down. Nothing. If there are any medical professionals hanging out in here, maybe we could put together a decent diet plan? If I remember right, sticking to some herbal tea and dry toast for the first couple of days helps? Thanks for the tips.
Edward Green said:Then why can you only get this done in Washington, D.C.? Like, Typing? Seriously? Honestly, I'd much rather deal with them in Seattle than have to drag myself all the way to D.C. 😁
So, before even worrying about the Typing, you head over to your local blood center and tell them you want to sign up as a bone marrow donor. And they just look at you blankly and go, "Uh, what exactly do you mean by that? Where should we register you?" Then you have to explain, "Yeah, in the bone marrow donor registry." And she goes, "The bone marrow donor registry? What on earth is that?" So you're stuck saying, "Well, I read in the newspaper that they were starting one!" And then she just shrugs and says, "Well, if you say so, I guess we can do that." 😁

I remember asking my brother this exact thing once: "Are you a voluntary donor or are you being forced into it?" He goes: "I'm doing this under duress, but I'm happy about it!" 😁
Look, you probably already know this, but does it actually matter if the donor and the patient receiving the bone marrow share the same blood type?
