What an absolute banger of a movie.

That was just a passing thought! Honestly, I had an absolute blast at the concert. What I mean is, I don't usually get the chance to dive into that kind of music, but I didn't hate it one bit. So, my final verdict? 👍

bad seed said:And that "dancing kid" you guys are making fun of? Absolute moron. It's a fact. Back during the last Watergate Scandal in Seattle, he was screaming so loud while "singing" that Fisher actually asked if he wanted to take over the set just to stop the noise.

Good grief, what an absolute disgrace! 🙂 🙂 🙂

bad seed said:...but honestly, he acts like that at every single concert. Probably just pure frustration because every single one of his bands has been a complete and utter failure.😁

Google 😛 😛 😛 🤣 🙂

boldscout72 said:Adam Moore already covered all the bases, but I’ve got a little something to add myself. These comments calling Jason "pretentious"? Honestly, they're so incredibly metrosexual I think I might actually gag.

Go ahead and puke then, buddy!😁 🤮

Adam Moore said:Seriously, did you guys see the bassist's shirt?! 😁 Pure legend!

The guy was rocking a red shirt under a black blazer. If he had just worn some jeans and had slightly darker hair—he’d be a dead ringer for Batman. Even Judas Priest!

Adam Moore said:Another one of her observations—as soon as she saw how the guitarist and the keyboardist were acting, she blurted out that they were totally flirting!
Ah, women. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if she's actually right.

What about yours? 😬 Mine was making comments too.

Look, my point was simply that it’s such a cool perk being able to sit down at a gig like that! Wouldn't it be amazing if we could find more music that allowed for a seated experience? But hey, to each their own, right? 🙂

rutvica said:and the guy looks like boldscout72's evil half-brother/half-twin😬

Wait, hold on! So you mean Chestnut is the evil half-brother/half-twin of boldscout72 AND also the evil half-brother/half-twin of the guitarist from The Manchurian Candidate? 🙂Is that really what we're saying here?

It was actually quite alright.

I don't usually listen to this kind of stuff, so it was an interesting experience for me. I enjoyed everything they played, but there were two things that really stood out—I can't quite put my finger on them—somewhere between that bland, "oh woe is me" vibe you hear in some parts of Vegas and this sudden, loud burst of energy with heavy distortion during a few of the faster tracks. It was like a middle ground, a sort of crazed "happy blues" mixed with bits of country and that old-school boom-chicka-boom sound. So... I don't know... the music was good. Not David Bowie good, but good. 😬 I'm definitely going to grab a copy for my car; it’s perfect driving music.

That "dancing kid" guy? Total drunk idiot. Honestly, someone should have hit him with a flamethrower.

The guitarist, who looked just like Elvis Presley, was—well, yeah, at times he was incredibly pretentious and exhausting. But overall, he played most of it okay and fairly accurately.

As for me, the bassist was absolutely awesome. He might have been a little pretentious too, but compared to the guitarist, he was as humble as Francis of Assisi. I think the violinist was actually the most professional one; my girlfriend especially loved his stage presence and how composed he stayed.

Hooray! The great Fantasy Film invasion of 2006 is upon us! We're a small group, but man, are we struggling!

When they can't even realize this whole thread is about Underworld 🙏, Ultraviolet 🙏, Aeon Flux 🙏, and Equilibrium 🙏 :

Who is calling out my name?
Strange people with strange names
And they curse things held sacred
Faith, love, and the homeland

Aeon Flux is absolutely legendary. It’s not quite the Equilibrium Law, but it definitely hits close to home! 🙏 🙏 🙏

Spoken like a true believer 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏
ASd said:I watched Equilibrium and Underworld. Honestly? Equilibrium is much worse trash. You've got these painter-assassins, terrible directing, a weak script, and those derivative Matrix-style fights...

And here I am wondering, "Wait, wait, why don't I actually hang out in the US Movie subforum more often?" 😂 🤣 😂

Poor 🙂 🙏 🙏 🙏

Come on now, you guys are really tearing him apart here! 😂 🤣 😂

(I’m talking about that whole "in" crowd from the movie—the ones who seem to spend all their time nitpicking and looking down on everyone else)

I actually think the movie is good. Honestly, it’s the reaction from people who type out "you have to be joking" whenever someone makes a statement like mine that really gets under my skin... it's frankly quite irritating. It happens on this subforum all the time, just like it does in any other community dedicated to "art," like the Music board.
Was Walt Disney actually a director? in Movies ·
Or just slap a "Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar" label on him ☕
Now, I could sit here all day and moan about how we just can't seem to get our hands on actual comic books in America or wherever else... (hand slams table)

Just make do, buddy. Go grab some e-zines or check out those foreign magazines instead.
Tell me something: what’s the viewing experience like on a phone, a monitor, or a full-blown home theater setup?

As for me? I only ever watch adult films on those devices. If I want to see an actual movie, I head straight to the AMC Theater.

Different strokes for different folks, right? A hundred different tastes, a hundred different women, two hundred 🙂
