If I’m getting private messages every single day from various members of the diaspora asking me to push for your ban, then maybe it's time to stop looking at what I'm doing wrong and start reflecting on your own behavior... Not to mention the fact that you have half of the American community on your ignore list... Stop playing the victim and whining about it. You haven't heard this one yet. That Guns N' Roses cover is absolutely killer.... And honestly... Vido is pretty great too... I mean, it actually makes me want to go wild with Kat, which isn't usually my vibe at all. So, what more can I say....🙄 Oh, of course, I've already popped the CD in.
So, has anyone else heard about that new track from Guns N' Roses featuring Kate Moss? Honestly, when I first read in the papers that Kate Moss was going to sing something alongside Bobby, I felt physically ill... no way... there is absolutely no way that could turn out well... And then what happens? I flip on MTV and see this incredibly intense, mind-blowing track while Katus just sits there staring at the screen... and then suddenly, it hits me... and what can I say? It’s actually good! Seriously, it might be the best thing I've heard in a really, really long time... just wow! It's a cover... but it's absolutely brilliant.
Over in the United States, everything at the theater is super organized with numbered rows and specific seats. If you're catching a massive blockbuster that everyone is talking about and it looks like it’s going to be a packed house, you just sit exactly where your ticket says... plus, you can actually reserve a specific seat online ahead of time if you want to make sure you get the best view! But, on those quieter nights when the theater is looking pretty half-empty, it’s much more relaxed since people just grab whatever spot they feel like sitting in...
Yesterday, my roommate and I decided to settle in for a movie since we didn't really have anything better to do with our Sunday evening. We figured a little jump scare would be just the thing to spice things up, so we went ahead and put on Cabin Fever. Oh boy.... let me tell you, we were screaming and gagging through the entire thing. (I mean, we really do get way too immersed in what we watch...😁 ). Look, while the movie is actually pretty good in its own way, it is absolutely disgusting. And yeah, it definitely scared us. It’s a total classic... basically some teenagers rent out a cabin in the woods and end up catching this horrific flesh-eating disease. It definitely has those gritty, survivalist vibes similar to Messenger... But seriously.... the movie is just straight-up revolting. Especially that one scene where the girl is shaving her legs. Once that started, I had to hide under a jacket, covering my eyes and ears, just peeking over the edge while muttering about how gross it was. Ugh... Then today, when I went to shave my own legs, I couldn't help but think about how much they might fall apart! Man... and if you ever decide to watch it, I highly recommend you don't eat any popcorn at the same time. I actually ended up choking on mine for a second... though I guess it wasn't worth the money anyway.
I’ve been dreaming about getting my hands on those bright yellow sneakers... And maybe a katana too... I just haven't quite figured out what I'd actually do with it or who I'd practice my moves on...😁
Ugh... honestly, that very first fight scene is just the absolute best. 😁 It was pure genius. (And hey, I couldn't help noticing the woman in that first fight is wearing the exact same tracksuit top as me! 😁) Oh, and you know... I actually worried for a second that the movie would be so violent it might make me sick, but it ended up being so cool instead. There’s definitely some blood and violence, but it's handled perfectly, just like how the says: at any given moment, you're totally aware you're watching a movie, so it never feels overwhelming...
😁 😁 😁 So, I finally caught the movie yesterday (there were absolutely no tickets left last Sunday... I had to beg them!) The film is just pure Darkness My goodness, I honestly couldn't stop thinking about the dialogue, the soundtrack, those Samurai swords, and everything else... it stayed on my mind all night and through the whole day... Then I even had a dream where I was actually fighting O-ren Ishii Yeah... seriously... the movie is sheer genius, definitely one of those future classics... It really has it all... it's hilarious, violent, cool, and everything in between I had such a blast Though... I have to say, the first part doesn't quite click for me as a complete story... I'm just crossing my fingers that the second part is as incredibly dark as this one was... Ugh... my head is spinning...
My roommate was watching it yesterday, but I haven't run into him since then, so I'm not quite sure what he thought of it yet... I'm heading there this Sunday. Yay! I seriously can't wait!🙂

I mean, how could you not be totally captivated by someone that gorgeous and sexy? She was just sooooo good... truly... But anyway, what ever happened to her?

The poor little guy probably had no idea what was coming his way when those letters started arriving in the mail, haha... For me, the movie was just so funny yet heartbreaking all at once, which is why I ended up tearing up at the end when he received that message from Ndung... I can't even tell if they were happy tears on my part, to be honest... brightscout63, why do you feel like the movie is suffocating?
