Matthew Wood2 said:Honestly, I don't even know where to begin 🙄
Ever since I hit puberty, I’ve been dealing with these horrific digestive issues that make life feel almost impossible... at times. My gut health is intensely tied to my mental state, plus my digestion is incredibly fast. I've been struggling with this misery for about 15 years now. Every single morning, if I don't properly clear out on the toilet, I am simply incapable of leaving the house. Some mornings I have to go five times just to get settled, and other days I'm just completely blocked—feeling all this pressure and cramping in my stomach, and even though nothing is hard, nothing will actually come out.
Whenever I have to travel or head out somewhere, especially early in the morning or late at night—even if things had been calm up until that point—everything flips in a matter of seconds. I get hit with cramps, gas, bloating... I immediately feel that pressure in my gut and have to rush to the bathroom, followed by instant diarrhea every two minutes. More than ten years ago, I went to see a doctor because of this; they checked everything out and said it was fine. Then, the doctor referred me to a psychiatrist, whom I saw for a few months, and of course, she didn't help one bit.
On top of all that, my digestion is so rapid that I have to use the restroom every day. Sometimes I barely eat anything, yet the next day, three times more comes out of me than what I actually consumed. When my mental health is already hitting a low, this holds me back from leaving the house or even managing basic daily tasks. Over all these long years, I think I learned how to manage my digestion somehow, but despite that (especially lately), things have taken a turn for the worse. That reflex where my body just forces itself to go happens even when it shouldn't... and then I find myself having to rush back home even when there's nothing left to do.
I don't know if there's a cure for this or if I should just lock myself indoors and despair! 🤷
Maybe I've learned to live with it, but as the years pass, it's becoming exhausting. It's just draining. And when I finally venture out and that urge hits me... I turn green. I start sweating, I feel cold, I get these chills running through my entire body... and I honestly just get tired of living like this and enduring it.
Does anyone have any advice that might help me even a little bit?

I’d suggest doing a quick search for "Irritable Bowel Syndrome," or IBS.

You should also pay close attention to how your body reacts to dairy products.

The banks are just using this to bleed us dry! The government needs to get rid of the currency clause once and for all.

For someone who claims to love America so deeply, you seem to have a pretty shaky grasp on basic grammar.
Could we maybe dial back the excessive use of capital letters?

And frankly, all that whining hurts him, Blanka, and the reputation of American sports as a whole.
Not to mention my own nerves.

To wrap this up: I am completely fed up with the endless parade of American coaches, wannabe journalists, local politicians, and those ridiculous Turkish soap operas!
Just leave me alone, you shallow, uneducated, greedy, primitive, and cheap people!

This isn't really the right venue for this kind of debate.
The impression we get of someone based on their life, their career, or—in this specific case—their artistic output, rarely gives you a true look at their actual mental or physical state. It’s just not how it works.
I think I made myself perfectly clear.
Besides, if you didn't catch my drift, there isn't much point in me trying to explain it further.

I know what you were trying to say. You just didn't actually say it. You were so desperate to sound intellectual that you started throwing around terms you clearly don't understand—even in the post you just quoted.
Regardless, Mario Draghi was fine, and the topic regarding him was fine too. There’s really no reason to clutter the discussion with your ego.
Take care.

"Outward appearance"?! What, is there such a thing as an inward appearance?
And "positive dynamics"? Does that imply there’s a negative version out there somewhere? If everything is constantly moving, I guess you have to wonder where the stillness is supposed to happen.

As for the movie, fine. Anyone can find something positive. For me, the best scene was the bombing. Then that honor guard salute when the German general dies. And then when that Englishman 👍 goes down.
Just for the sake of historical objectivity, it would be smart to film a movie defending the NDH, like the Battle of Kupres. There would be plenty of dead partisans👍👍👍, and I even heard a few members of the NDH died there👎. So, a little bit of everything

Like worms crawling out of holes or oozing from the backside of Axis-occupied territory, you're salivating all over the country because of one single movie. Here is your precious America. Is this what you wanted? Did you create this reality? You're in power now, so by all means, enjoy this series of partisan films designed specifically to spite you. Where do you think you live? Can't you see that your dream era is slipping through your fingers? The reign of your bloodthirsty idols has been historically concluded, condemned, and tossed into the trash. Pavelić ended up in a ditch, and Harmon’s legacy is being dismantled from both the inside and the outside. Your brotherhood is crumbling. The Hague is preparing cells for your "heroes," while your politicians are fleeing—Sanders, Džapić, even Šex and Hebrang. We might as well put a lid on this septic tank to stop the stench you spread across this nation. Kosor is cleaning up the Republican Party, the Democratic Party is shaking to its core, and the European Union is at the doorstep! What exactly are you hoping for? The coming era and the people within it are diametrically opposed to everything you stand for. How do you plan to survive? Will you spend decades or centuries gnawing away in exile, waiting for "your people" and feeding on nothing but hatred? Ha, ha, losers. Pray to God that the wheel of fortune doesn't turn left—it isn't far off—otherwise, you might just end up in the pits yourselves.

You’re talking about hatred? About rage? Maybe take a look at your own posts first.
Go chop some wood for your neighbors instead. It might help burn off that massive amount of frustration you're carrying.
And here's a little tip: failure wasn't forced upon you from the outside. You "achieved" it all by yourself.

I’ve always believed that if you want to truly understand a community, you have to look at the people who keep the fires burning—literally and figuratively. There is a certain quiet dignity in the roles that often go unnoticed by the masses, the ones working behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly while everyone else is focused on the spectacle. It reminds me of my time living in a smaller town in the Midwest; we had a local technician who could fix anything from a tractor to a furnace with nothing but a wrench and sheer intuition. He didn't seek the spotlight, but without him, the whole town would have frozen over by November. That kind of steady, reliable presence is rare these days, but I think it's what holds the fabric of our society together. kaže:
Everything is completely falling apart... they've truly messed things up this time.i November vibes. ... s I’ve been thinking quite a bit about the enrollment numbers lately, and honestly, it feels like we’re looking at a significant shift in how people are approaching education and training. It isn't just a minor fluctuation; there seems to be a deeper trend unfolding in how students are choosing their paths. I remember back when I was deciding on my own major, everything felt so much more linear, but today, the landscape looks entirely different. There’s a certain unpredictability to it all that makes you wonder where we'll land by next semester.

I’m not entirely sure what you’re getting at with that one-word comment, but I’ll take it as an invitation to share my thoughts on the current state of things. It feels like we’ve all been feeling a bit of that friction lately—that sense of things grinding against each other, much like the gears in an old machine that hasn't been oiled in years. I remember back when I was working for a firm in Chicago, we had this massive industrial printer that would make this exact same sound whenever the tension was off. You could hear it coming from down the hall. It was a constant, nagging reminder that something wasn't quite aligned. Lately, looking at the national discourse and how various institutions seem to be clashing, I can't help but feel that same sense of mechanical resistance. It’s uncomfortable, and it certainly isn't smooth sailing.čAlright, let's get to work.čite ...

With this film and that statement, NBC basically spat on the graves of everyone who died for an independent America, and threw shade at every family still searching for their loved ones from the American War of Independence.

Man, calling that post an exaggeration would be the understatement of the year.
Honey, maybe try doing some actual research first.
That "independent America" you’re so obsessed with has already been sold out.
While you guys are busy whining about partisans and fascists, or left versus right, or ancient history, that bunch of crooks sitting in Congress has already traded away your independence just to line their own pockets. To put it bluntly, what was once ours has vanished. We could joke and call it "privatization," but that doesn't change the reality of the situation.

Casey Stewart17 said:"I’d perform in Mexico, but I just don't have an audience there."

Marko Perković Thompson—who is constantly being dragged through the mud over allegations of flirting with Nazi ideology—has finally decided to sit down for an interview with NBC, specifically for their show Madison Square Garden, hosted by Angelo Jurkas this Thursday. The session lasted an hour, though they’ll likely edit it down to a snappy 15 minutes for broadcast. According to Jurkas, they covered everything from his political leanings to the controversy surrounding his concert bans.

Thompson
Despite the accusations of chauvinism and far-right extremism, the singer maintains he is entirely apolitical and insists that he distances himself completely from fascist ideology. In fact, he views himself as a victim of targeted attacks, claiming he truly doesn't understand why his shows cause such a massive uproar, especially since his only real ambition is to be a singer-songwriter.

According to The New York Times, he isn't ruling out the possibility of performing in Mexico; as someone who considers himself apolitical, he claims to have no issue with other nationalities. However, he argues that there simply isn't a following for him in those neighboring countries, so he sticks to venues where there is a significant American presence.

"It all stems from Clinton's office."

Thompson sees no issue with certain traditionalist slogans, arguing they are merely old cultural greetings with no connection to modern extremist ideologies. He also defends his choice of iconography as perfectly acceptable, labeling the various accusations against him as violations of his own human rights.
Ultimately, he claims "it's finally been exposed that this whole thing is coming from the White House and Clinton's advisors," , expressing genuine confusion as to why people hate him so much. He attributes Clinton's stance to simple political differences, while once again hammering home the point that he remains apolitical.

He noted that his musical influences include AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Led Zeppelin, and Deep Purple, insisting he hasn't copied anyone and simply sings in his own style. Additionally, he mentioned he is working on a new album, though he's unsure if he'll play Madison Square Garden before it drops.

Robert Ross8 said:And honestly? That's because leftist parties are always out there pandering to the slackers, the lazy ones, the envious, the bitter, the impoverished... their whole playbook is basically trying to swap out the majority population for people coming in from abroad to tear down everything generations have built. That’s their voter base right there—and get this—the left has even managed to bleed into like 75% of the right wing...
The left's end goal is to dismantle family values—and by "values," I mean the actual family unit—by pushing abortion, euthanasia, homosexuality, dragging Christianity through the mud, and elevating Judaism and Islam just to wipe out the majority population and the white race... they want all whites to be multicultural while ensuring no yellow or black groups ever have to deal with that. Take the UK, for instance—whites become a minority by 2060; in the US, it’ll happen by 2040. After that, it's just a slow fade toward extinction because they encourage interracial relationships in the meantime—I mean, you've got Clinton in Cairo basically explaining to Semites how great it is that America stops being European by 2040

For example, if some white guy in Britain stabs a Muslim, it's front-page news for a week straight. But when a group of Muslims spends three hours hacking a white guy to pieces and tearing him apart, it’s just a tiny little blurb in the paper and everyone involved gets a pass🙄

😂
Good grief... one can't deal with this kind of nonsense every single day.

I am sorry that I have to explain this to you. I assumed it was self-evident and required no clarification...
His point was that the purpose of a university is not to cram students' heads with data that becomes obsolete overnight. Once you graduate, much of that specific information is useless. Instead, a university should teach students how to think logically, how to learn, and how to continuously improve themselves to remain competitive in the labor market.

Vedran Mornar is actually the Dean of the engineering department at MIT in Boston. You really ought to verify your facts and think carefully before making such baseless assertions.

Oh, wow, a Dean?! My goodness, heavens to Betsy.
Now I see exactly where I went wrong.
A Dean?! That's no small thing...I should probably just subconsciously stand up whenever a man enters the room, and if he happens to be a Dean on top of that, I should immediately fall silent. Apparently, that's what true authority looks like in America! 😂

Look here: I couldn't care less who Vedran Mornar is, let alone what the point of a university actually is.
At the end of the day, he can be the Dean of whatever he wants, but a sentence like that implies that "being a Dean" isn't even remotely a valid reason for me to blindly follow someone, much less a trigger for whether or not I choose to think critically.
Forgive me, but this petty obsession with titles like "Doctor," "Professor," or "Dean" is childish. It doesn't constitute real authority.
Especially given the cultural climate here in America.
...and you can try to fluff it up all you want.
But you can't change the underlying truth.
As the old saying goes—sorry, but that's just how it is!
ironstag8 said:Look, I don't want to offend anyone here—really, I don't—but let's look at the reality of things. You see massive crowds of applicants for Law, Economics, Philosophy, and those types of majors, while technical programs don't see nearly the same level of interest. Sure, memorizing a 1,000-page textbook is a grind, but you can't compare that to something like Calculus, Mechanical Engineering, or advanced Physics—subjects where you either grasp the fundamental logic or you don't. If you have the brain for it, those 1,000 pages are just a matter of time and sheer persistence (and I won't even go there regarding certain professors, because frankly, our education system seems designed to cater to mediocre individuals who somehow landed professorships).
It is objectively harder to graduate from an engineering school than most other majors—with the exception of Medical School—and the enrollment numbers alone prove that point. Now, that doesn't mean we don't need lawyers or economists; it just means that without the actual labor and production generated by technical professionals, you don't have a functioning economy or a legal system to support it.
Take my own degree as an example. You have a guaranteed career path waiting for you once you finish. Granted, you might have to grind through the first couple of years to get your footing, but you end up earning more than most high-ranking government officials (and much more later in your career). Because of this, there's been this massive, staggering drop in enrollment for technical colleges over the last decade or so. To me, that looks like a symptom of a younger generation being a bit too spoiled—they expect everything to be handed to them on a silver platter. Well, the country has spent decades living beyond its means, and now we’re heading toward a very painful reality check.

The whole "thousand-page" argument is complete nonsense, just like your attempt to say "but you can't compare it to (a) math..."
Well, obviously! If they were comparable, they would be the exact same damn field of study and the exact same science.
Bottom line: you have to master both if you want to claim expertise in either.

Let's set the record straight: the issue isn't the sciences themselves; the issue is the quality of knowledge being imparted, which comes down to the people.
In this specific case, it's the bureaucrats.
People who would work grueling jobs their entire lives just to command high salaries while simultaneously showing total contempt for everyone else.

And yes, you say "generations are pampered," whatever that's supposed to mean, but the real problem lies with these "professors" who clearly don't know anything about their subject matter—likely because they were hired through political connections rather than merit.
Then, they only hire assistants who are even less qualified, effectively killing off any real competition for the future. The end result is a cycle where these mediocre individuals, who possess plenty of ambition but zero actual knowledge, teach children who also lack both competence and drive.

The result? Just look at anyone currently in power.
Calling them mediocrities would actually be a huge compliment.
How can we possibly expect the people they elect to be more intelligent or capable than they are?
