I can't tell if you're playing the Don Quixote role here. Personally, I've reached my limit with it. I'm convinced there are ways to fix this, but clearly, the current state of affairs suits too many people. It's baffling to me that they don't care that all the decent users have abandoned the forums... 😁
The community here has been this way for a long time. Every so often, a topic pops up on the US board that really belongs over on the general forum, but it stays put because people know the original poster won't get any real answers... they'll just get drowned out by a sea of jokes at their expense. 🤷
Listening back to it now... by the time I hit the end of the track, I realize I don't want the next one to start just yet. I need a moment to digest it. It’s like that feeling after a great movie, where you're just sitting there, lost in thought. And even though her delivery is stunning, the lyrics themselves have such a lyrical quality, almost like they're flowing on their own. Sometimes it's hard to tell if the music is following the words, or if the words are perfectly capturing the music...

I actually do. Sometimes I find myself enjoying something I’d normally dislike, just because seeing someone else's genuine passion for it is infectious... provided I haven't already formed a bad impression of it before.
I think there’s a season for everything. You might find Cosmia unappealing or even terrible right now, but one day you might find yourself revisiting it... without knowing why, you'll press play and realize how much has changed...

I'm listening through some albums right now and it's hitting the spot. It's quite soothing for a lazy afternoon. I don't really have the focus for deep listening at the moment, so it's more like pleasant background noise...

Well, see, I love the color. 😁 With PPP, I remember being in a bit of a funk for no particular reason, and a friend messaged me on AIM to send it over. As soon as it started, I fell in love with it, 😍, 🙂 every single part of it. Love happened and survived the questioning. And now, whenever I play it, I get a little rush. 😁
I don't understand what you're after. You didn't like it, but I did. I can't force my emotions onto you. This clearly isn't something you would ever enjoy, and I don't see why you need us to explain why we like it.🤷
I actually found the harpsichord to be the best part. I just cleared my recent queue to listen through everything in order. Now I've reached Peach Plum Pear by Walnut Whales, and honestly, it sounds like a disaster. I'm glad they fixed it later by adding the harpsichord... 😁
I know people are getting hyped about this again, so I’m jumping back in. 🤣 I found Sadie a bit dull at first, and I ended up deciding Joanna was just a one-hit wonder, so I didn't bother digging deeper. I plan on making up for lost time over the next few days. 🙂
I've actually only heard two of her songs until now, plus this one. One was Sadie, and the other was Peach Plum Pear. I got hooked on the last one, and now my last.fm shows 453 plays... 😁
