"Period delay pills" act as a form of hormonal contraception that can be used to extend a specific phase of your cycle, effectively pushing back your period.
Aside from the fact that suddenly starting a pill regimen only to stop it immediately sounds pretty jarring (which seems to be the plan here), messing with your cycle by flooding your system with unnecessary hormones isn't exactly the healthiest move. You can reschedule surgeries, or just use a tampon for a trip to the beach... I don't know, personally, I’m not a fan of bombarding my body with extra hormones just to skip a period. I could maybe justify it for a surgery, or if it were just for a quick trip to Florida... but is a few days of swimming—which you can handle with a tampon anyway—really worth the hormonal rollercoaster?
I was going to move this thread myself, but I figured it might be more useful for you if I just lock it. That way, you'll have to hunt down the right subforum and start a fresh topic there. 😂 If you're planning on traveling, being able to follow instructions is pretty essential. 😉
Each post has a number above it. Click that number to get a direct link to just that specific post. From there, if you click the thread title again, you'll get a link that points directly to that exact spot within the full discussion, rather than an isolated view.

Yeah, obviously it’s not working. 😂 How exactly do you plan on showing an image stored on your hard drive to the rest of the web? You actually have to upload it online first if you want anyone else to see it. 😉
Look, this is the HTML code. It won't work even if you use the right image link on the forum. It needs to look like this:

Thanks a million for the tip, seriously, you nailed it.
PS: I’m still scratching my head over how I managed to upload my old avatar before... it was like 80 KB and had dimensions of 740x555 pixels?? And it wasn't even a GIF, just a standard JPEG... honestly, it's a total mystery to me.
No clue. That really shouldn't have been possible.

teoretski super. It’s practical, though moderators are well within their rights to say no. 🙂

The best way to find out why you got flagged is to just ask the specific moderator who handed you the penalty.🙂
I see my suggestion to cut out the nonsense in this thread didn't quite land... I guess I'll just do what you all told me to do instead. Locking the thread. 🙂
Nah, things were actually a bit better last month.
Do you have PCOS or just polycystic ovaries? My doctor suggested birth control as a way to manage it, though I’m not really into the whole "take them occasionally" approach. It’s either an all-in or nothing kind of thing for me.
Fair enough, but why the back-and-forth with the pill? Why start and stop like that?
It’s only been two days; it’s perfectly normal for your body to need a moment to reset. I remember my cycle being about five days late after I stopped taking them, too. 🤔 Anyway, don't sweat it for at least another couple of days. 🙂
