So, it’s not showing up right away?
The guy sent the payment and told me it should be visible instantly, but I'm looking at my account and seeing absolutely nothing.

Thanks for any help

Does anyone know how long it takes for an online transfer to actually clear if I'm moving money between two accounts at the same bank over the weekend?

For instance, if I send a payment on a Saturday via online banking from one account to another within the same institution, will those funds hit the target account immediately, or am I stuck waiting until the next business day?
Basically, I'm just moving cash from my checking account over to my savings account.

I really don't get you people. My city has been a ghost town for days; there isn't a soul in sight.

What other "brilliant" measures are you guys planning to roll out?

I honestly think we should be arresting anyone who keeps flouting quarantine rules or ignoring the ban on gathering in public spaces. If they get caught up in this nonsense again, they should face at least a month behind bars.

And, if someone decides to get reckless or actually tries to bolt while being checked by authorities, let's just give the officers the green light to use lethal force.
Can anyone give me a straight answer on how long a one-time, handwritten prescription actually stays valid?

My doctor wrote me a script, but I can't find the medication anywhere—not even at the local CVS or Walgreens—and now I’m starting to panic that it might expire before I can track it down.
I've been reading conflicting things online; some places say these kinds of prescriptions are only good for 15 days before they become useless, but then one pharmacy tells me I have six months while another says just one month.

Well, sure, we’ve got all this incredible tech at our fingertips now, which basically means we're constantly plugged in and hyper-aware of everything happening everywhere.
The truth is, the world and its environments have always been pretty brutal, but I think these two things—tech and that constant stream of information—just act as massive amplifiers for the harshness we're already dealing with.

electrictinker26 said:I don't think the problem is what they're doing; the issue is that they've tied their happiness to those specific actions. Real happiness comes from within and then reflects outward. You could stare at a black smudge on a white wall and feel content, or you could gamble or have sex and feel fulfilled—or you could do all those things and still feel miserable, searching for some collective, imaginary reason why. It’s all subjective. There aren't any universal rules for being happy. As long as nobody else is getting hurt, people should be free to do whatever they want. Honestly, who cares...

Spot on!
It seems like people get so dissatisfied with their actual lives that they try to offload that entire emotional burden onto the idea of "luck" or "winning."
Besides, happiness and satisfaction are two very different animals.
Satisfaction is something you manufacture through focus, whereas true happiness is really just the byproduct of feeling fulfilled by that sense of personal satisfaction across most areas of your life.
So, while satisfaction is built (usually) through hitting tangible, material goals, happiness is more of an ongoing process.

Honestly, I’d take that over getting stuck in some delusional fantasy any day. At least this way, everything actually has a solid foundation in reality.
People tend to spiral because they try something a couple of times, fail, and then just let themselves sink right into a depressive funk.
Just set some actual goals for yourself and go live your life.

quiettrucker12 said:That’s all true, and Ben clearly has the biggest printing press, so the US Dollar will just keep sliding... It’ll be interesting to see if he can suppress the US Dollar just enough before the election, especially since he needs those stock prices looking good right now, even though the market is signaling that the US Dollar should actually be climbing a bit.

Trend shifts between currencies—like this attempt to prop up the US Dollar—are going to get slower, more volatile, and much more painful because everyone is printing money. On top of that, everyone is pinning their hopes for this bull market on the fact that nobody can print quite like Ben.

Here is how I see things: the Dollar eventually has to find some footing and stabilize, but what really keeps me up at night is gold; seeing it jump by $200 over the summer tells me one thing clearly—the US Dollar is definitely on a downward trajectory.
Has the Euro finally hit its stability point? 🤷The next time the Euro starts shaking, should I just move everything into precious metals?
🤷Given that we’re heading into that pre-holiday madness in about two months—assuming my theory holds that Americans tend to spend like crazy during the holidays—I’m expecting a temporary illusion of recovery and Dollar stabilization; if people start buying again while the Euro is wobbling,
is that enough of a signal for me to pivot to precious metals? 🤷
That would be my cue.

Target $2000, or maybe a correction and stabilization around $1850?
Personally, I’m just waiting for the big buildup before we smash through that psychological $2000 barrier, and I’m really hoping we aren't too far off....

quiettrucker12 said:Sure, but (haven't read the full piece) that phrase "it is not the Euro that will collapse next but the dollar" sounds to me like the author thinks the Dollar is the next one to hit the floor (which, let's be honest, isn't a shocker), not the Euro. If they actually meant the Dollar would tank before the Euro, they would have phrased it differently.

I've actually seen this play out firsthand lately, and it's become pretty clear to me just how much the Euro acts as a sort of tripwire for the Dollar. It's not the Euro that's going under; it's the Dollar that's eventually going to hit the floor, sooner or later. The Euro is really just going to serve as our early warning system, giving us
a heads-up right when things are starting to fall apart.

Look, you only get one shot at this life, so please, keep that in mind—the only thing they actually share with you is the fact that everyone eventually ends up in the ground.
That’s why I say you really ought to give yourself a little breathing room and just elegantly tell them where to shove it, without letting their fake sense of superiority make you feel small or intimidated.
Even when it feels like everything is totally rigged against you, things have a way of working themselves out in the end.

Don't let them mess with your head or make you doubt your own worth by reacting to their provocations with an inferiority complex, even if you're feeling completely paralyzed by the situation.

And honestly, regarding the fact that they've made you their target for ridicule? Just feel genuine pity for those losers. They’re only taking it out on you because someone else is doing the exact same thing to them.

slydriver52 said:Honestly, Cookies&cream is easily one of the worst flavors they offer for Optimum Gold whey. Take it from me, I've been there. 😉
The heavy hitters are definitely all the chocolate variations (choco mint, double chocolate, choco malt, and milk chocolate), plus the mocha cappuccino and the Strawberry banana.
The middle-of-the-road ones are French Vanilla Creme, tropical Punch, and banana Cream.
Anything else is just pretty mediocre.

Well, clearly you haven't experienced the real deal yet—Caramel and toffee fudge 😍 is so good, with that hint of brown sugar, I could drink it all day long.

And what about this label on the Onwhey? Never heard of it or seen it before? 😕

and I have no clue how I'm supposed to count the breading and the oil fat content

That’s why you just grab as many napkins as possible and keep blotting it until it's completely dry. 😁

The movie feels a little rough around the edges, almost like it was put together on the fly, but there’s a certain creative spark there that keeps it interesting... Honestly, the biggest draw is just getting to see Charlize looking so unpolished and disheveled. 😂

There’s just one thing I can't quite wrap my head around while watching—why didn't they give her a cigarette? Usually, when you have a character this messy, the filmmakers lean hard into the synthetic stuff, you know, the constant cocaine sniffing and all that, but even that is missing here. It feels like the character loses a bit of that gritty, lived-in edge because of it.

rapidtrucker14 said:From what I’ve gathered, MyProtein is actually a really solid brand... seems like they're probably one of the biggest names over in the UK.

Look 😁, back in the day in California, there were these "local" protein brands being churned out that were huge—at least within my social circles. Honestly, I can't even wrap my head around the name of the company or who actually ran it, and weirdly enough, I can't even find an official website for them online now.

Everyone used to rave about them, and if I'm being totally honest about my own experience, they didn't even taste that bad or cause any stomach issues, plus the price was incredibly easy on the wallet.
But from what I heard, they lost their license to sell specifically because they couldn't produce the actual ingredient certifications for the back of the packaging; and honestly, the formula itself was likely sketchy too, because after some local regulatory agencies ran their analyses, they got hit with a total production ban. Now, you don't see them anywhere anymore (which makes me think there's a high probability I was basically pouring poison into my own body just because it was cheap).... and frankly, that whole situation smells a lot like these MyProteins.

I get that everyone has different tastes and opinions, but I also firmly believe that you truly get what you pay for—especially when it comes to things like flavor, how drinkable it is, or how easily it digests.

rapidtrucker14 said:So we're just supposed to go out and buy the most expensive thing on the shelf, is that it?

Look, I try not to mess with the results themselves since they're pretty much a given, unless someone tries to pass off straight-up smoke and mirrors as some kind of premium essence.
What I’m really getting at here is the actual quality and substance of what we're buying when we're being all stingy with our cash. 🤷

rapidtrucker14 said:Just because something costs more doesn't mean it's 50-$33 free of all that junk...

But look, I’m telling you this based on my own personal experience—and since we're apparently going to nitpick and get down into the weeds here, let me just say my digestion is pretty specific about these things. 🤷

rapidtrucker14 said:and that's why I just grab whatever the cheapest option is, because honestly, I don't think I'd see any better results by using the fanciest, most expensive whey out there

Sure, I get where you're coming from.
But what about the people who end up with total digestive disasters because they're drinking low-quality junk loaded with lactose?

After years of hitting the gym and testing out every single questionable brand under the sun, my vote definitely goes to Optimum Nutrition and MuscleTech—not just because of the big names, but because the actual quality is there. Even if companies try to pull fast ones and sell garbage globally, when I made my choice, I went with what actually sits right with my stomach without those unpleasant side effects we all know too well.
Take Dymatize, for example; their "Elite" line basically just smells strong enough to take over my entire apartment 😍, and besides the scent, it’s pretty mediocre for digestion, though I have to admit ISO 100 is in a completely different league. 😁

I tried this absolute crap known as Impact Whey Protein and let me tell you, I had some serious issues afterward regarding my digestion—we're talking heavy bloating and some seriously unpleasant gas, something right up there with those X-TREME whey proteins, which is just straight-up trash. 🤷 😁

You get what you pay for.
So, please, don't try to sell us smoke and mirrors or screw us over for $17; quality matters, and I've always prioritized it, and I haven't regretted it once.
