I actually tracked down who’s building these things, but they’ve got a two-week lead time, and you have to leave all your parts with them while they install everything..😉 I’m talking about the motherboard and everything mounted on it; you can always swap out the other stuff later.

The price $1533 includes the compressor, three cooling points, plus the full motherboard setup (though that part is still a bit fuzzy to me), but there's also a cheaper version that just uses two 120mm fans and passive cooling for next to $733 nothing...

Dimensions are 550×250×450, and it even comes with casters on the bottom 😁
Right now, they're booked up for two months 😢
They mount the power supplies inside

From what I can tell, this is strictly custom order stuff... it's not some mass-imported junk, it's their own design.

So, roughly how much cooling power are we actually looking at here?😕

Look, I didn't even check the map, I was just asking!🙂

Raymond Rodriguez40 said:I just heard through the grapevine that some outfit out in Cleveland is putting together these crazy PC cases with compressor cooling...

Anyone got the scoop on where I can grab one or at least get some actual specs?
People are talking big, saying the price is killer too... which honestly sounds suspicious as hell to me.

I knew a guy who rigged up a similar setup years ago, but the condensation issues were a total nightmare.
You're basically screwed if moisture starts building up on your motherboard.

So, does anyone actually know who's selling these?

Well, you aren't even in Cleveland, man.😕

Maybe dustypilot23 knows something about it...

I'm with him on this one👍

Those are two totally different things!
Just look at what happened last year at the Nürburgring when Trulli did that to him (or maybe it was Alonso, I can't remember), and he spun right off the track. He finally realized exactly what he'd done to Michael back then.

And what do you think happens when you're leading the pack, flying at 200 mph, and you decide to "lift off" while there's a car breathing down your neck just inches behind you... especially when it starts raining?

Correction to an error:
Giancarlo Fisichella was declared the winner, which was one of those rare times Jordan actually scored points, let alone won.

True, my bad.🙂

The rain came down and half the field wiped out (Michael Schumacher included)... Then they ended up red-flagging the whole thing after Fernando Alonso slammed into Mark Webber. A week later, they finally declared Trulli the winner.

Raymond Carter2 said:I don't see why that's an issue. Everyone knows Michael Schumacher is probably the best driver out there when it starts pouring rain (if that's what you mean).

I wasn't even talking about Michael Schumacher, I was talking about the sheer stress that comes with the rain...

You know how it goes... you put on rain tires and suddenly the sun is blasting through the clouds... or you go with intermediates and then the sky just opens up on you.🙂 Just think back to that absolute madness in the USA 2003 Microsoft race.

God damn it.

He really showed his true colors out there in the rain...

He wasn't doing 30. He slammed on the brakes on a straightaway and dropped from 200 down to 50 in a heartbeat. 😠

Max and his crew basically rigged the whole season just to make sure it stays bone-dry😠

They even pushed Brazil to the very end of the schedule
When the rainy months hit, F1 usually sticks to tracks in Spain or Bahrain....

So there is zero chance we see any rain this year😢 , maybe England is our last shot at seeing some wet weather

ivansa said:You have to admit, Mosley & Bernie changed a ton of the rules just to make the sport more exciting.

Yeah, they absolutely trashed qualifying. And that engine rule? They basically nuked the smaller teams with it. They killed off some legendary tracks, tried to force manual gearboxes back in, and were even planning to shrink the engines from 3.0 down to 2.4... total disaster. 😲 😠
