Dennis Torres said:That’s what I said... but just because I saw how someone overdosed in a movie doesn't mean I fall into the "I've never read a book in my life" category.
One single petal doesn't make spring happen, and one conclusion drawn from a movie doesn't make me some absolute idiot, regardless of how you guys are implying it here.
Back then, I didn't even really get the point of what happened... things finally clicked for me later on.
And honestly, I'm not the type to swallow everything served up in some American movies hook, line, and sinker. But in Pulp Fiction, Travolta’s character buys something (coke?) and the dealer warns him that while the stuff he's holding is pure, the stash he was keeping wasn't, and then she overdoses..
It's not like the situation is impossible or totally unrealistic. Sometimes even in movies, things are portrayed pretty accurately.
Joe said:Look, how was I supposed to know (unless I heard it from an ex-buddy who used to deal) that heroin gets cut with random crap just to stretch it out? It’s all about padding the volume for resale. Every dealer ends up throwing some junk in there just to squeeze out more profit!
I actually know Willard personally, so I'm telling you—that's not how it works. 😁
It looks much worse than that. 😁

you don't even look like that, honestly.👍

I'm also curious about the specific impact on the kidneys and liver.
Everything I find online basically boils down to saying addiction is the worst part—the constant struggle to scrape money together or the risk of using dirty needles—but honestly, plenty of people don't give those things a second thought.
The issue is, I'm trying to make a real case to someone. They think it isn't a big deal since they only snort it and don't inject. Sometimes, "just snorting" doesn't cut it.
In a urine test the day after use, there were elevated protein and leukocyte levels. The nurse who saw the results actually thought she was just on her period.

It feels like this sudden cramp that just radiates out toward my ribs on both sides. These spasms only last a second or two, but the intensity is all over the place—sometimes it's a dull ache, and other times it hits so hard I'm literally tearing up. The timing is weird too; during the bad stretches, it hits every couple of minutes, but then I'll go thirty or sixty minutes without anything.
I honestly have no clue what's going on. Could it be a stomach ulcer? Please don't laugh, I'm genuinely clueless here.

The big shots basically just screwed everyone over.
