Honestly, that whole "union love" vibe at those big government agencies always strikes me as one of the world's greatest mysteries... zero actual work stress... just waiting for lunch breaks, a little bit of fun at home, and watching the paycheck hit the account without lifting a finger...

That’s easy for those reckless kids to say, but who's actually standing a chance against you?

Thomas Nelson25 said:It's hard to pull that off in real life because women can be pretty flirtatious in how they communicate.
It works if she acts more like a sister or whatever (though you definitely hear stories about people overstepping).
Basically, she just needs to be chill toward your boyfriend.
People usually take my word for things when I make a recommendation—so naturally, they figure they might as well try a little bit of it themselves...🙄
I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been out and told some random guy, "Hold on, let me go check on my friend," only for him—or the whole group—to chime in with some snide comment about how she isn't *actually* my friend... basically implying they were all throwing themselves at her.
Honestly, compared to me, they don't stand a chance—they just come off as pathetic little 🙄
I’m not even in touch with one of them anymore... and the connection with the other is pretty thin at best...
But I didn't bother reacting to those miserable little attempts at relevance... I just quietly filed them away under "not worth my time" in the back of my mind...

I’m not really much of a social butterfly.
Whether I'm grabbing a coffee with coworkers, shooting over a quick text to a friend, or just posting here on the forum, I usually just end up venting my daily dose of observations—things I’ve noticed, things I've dealt with, or just stuff that left me feeling a bit baffled...
It’s basically a two or three-hour deep dive that happens about once a month.

It feels like everyone nowadays is just... waiting. They’re waiting to hit some milestone, or land that big promotion, or finally feel "ready," and they keep pushing everything off until the connection just sort of fades away and things fall apart.
To be totally honest, at this stage in my life, marriage isn't even the main focus for me—it just feels like a formality, if that makes sense.
That’s pretty much my take on it...
meaning, 27—maybe 30 at the absolute most.
I was feeling pretty damn proud of myself—thinking I’d finally reached that level of unshakable resilience where absolutely nothing can rattle me—when my boss decided to drop a critique about one of my recent slip-ups. To make matters worse, she had to bring up how a former colleague from fifteen years ago noticed the exact same thing 😬
I'm basically invincible 🙂
Honestly, I wish her comment had just been: "Honey, what happened to you? You weren't always like this..."
Which lab in New York City offers the most comprehensive vitamin and mineral panel analysis?
Bradley Taylor2 said:Honestly, you'll want to look into creams loaded with urea or various exfoliating acids... exfoliation is absolutely huge here, and you might even want to give dry brushing a shot if you're feeling adventurous. Beyond the topical stuff, focusing on an anti-inflammatory diet really makes a difference—think plenty of Omega-3s and GLA... For some people, cutting out gluten entirely can be a total game-changer, though I know how incredibly hard that is to stick to unless you've got insane willpower or things have reached a breaking point...
If anyone here has actually tried this, could you recommend a decent dry brushing brush?
Also, can I find acid-based exfoliants or shower gels at local pharmacies, or should I just look online?
Online ordering is definitely on the table.
Has anyone actually managed to clear this up by switching to a gluten-free diet?
Aside from that—since everyone seems to swear that being out in the ocean helps—it might be worth experimenting with magnesium oil on the skin. You can find plenty of DIY recipes online... usually just magnesium chloride mixed with water...
So, what’s the deal with AllSaints jeans? Are they actually worth dropping a couple hundred bucks on... or is it just clever branding?

Regarding Guess at CC1 and CC, they had those two grey models...
As for Scotch & Soda at CC—I believe they had just one model, though my memory is getting a bit fuzzy on that...
Salsa has one grey model...
Thanks 😉
I didn't find a single pair over at Peek 😢
Guess only has this one weird model—looks like cropped 3/4 length pants to me 🙄
I'll check out the other suggestions in the next few days—hopefully I won't miss out like I did with Peek (I was really expecting something from Boss Orange, but nope...) 😢
Does anyone know if there's any shop in the mall that might actually carry gray skinny jeans?
Has anyone actually come across some decent gray skinny jeans lately?
Something a bit higher end than the usual stuff...
Replay and Diesel only have one model each this season, and honestly, they just don't do it for me—not my vibe at all 😢
I’m practically flying blind here—don't even know where to start looking
Maybe Peek & Cloppenburg?
Or Dsquared2?
...???
So, I got a notification today saying an international package had arrived...
But when I actually showed up at the post office to pick it up, they couldn't find a trace of it.
It wasn't even on the manifest of items the carrier supposedly brought back at the end of their shift.
The staff basically told me to swing by early Monday morning while the carrier is still in the office—maybe then I can ask them if they have any idea what happened to it.
If it turns out they've developed total amnesia and can't find the little package—say, tucked away in the back of a mail truck or something—what are my actual rights here?
Is there a formal way to file a complaint?
And how do they even go about determining compensation...
