Seriously, for those of you heading to Dr. Ljubojevic’s office—and everyone else...
So, I'm hunting for a new OBGYN near downtown and I actually took your recommendations for Ginoderma seriously. I head over to their website to check them out, right? I find the page, click it, and boom—the giant main header says:
Gynecology obstetrics dermatology and venereology
And get this—it’s written the exact same way in the contact section too.
It just felt... off. Like, did someone hire a freelancer to build this site who had zero clue how to spell basic medical terms? Or are they so checked out that they didn't even notice their own massive typo? It’s like walking into a high-end steakhouse in Manhattan and seeing "Steek House" glowing in neon on the front window. You just kind of pause.
How much do you guys actually rely on websites? Does stuff like this weird you out as much as it does me?
Look, I’m still going to go see them because I trust the word-of-mouth reviews more than anything, but I just had to vent about this.
Bradley Green75 said:Oh, please—you’re finally getting off the couch and hitting the gym?!?!?! 😁 😁 😁
Look, I’m basically always working out—it's kind of my whole thing—but I really want to get into yoga properly. And no, I haven't found a spot yet, but I am hunting around like crazy. The only headache is that half the studios in town are closed for the holidays right now.
Bradley Green75 said:I was checking out Dick's Sporting Goods today (near the Walmart over in Chicago)—saw some McKinsey & Company mats, if I recall correctly. They felt pretty non-slip, too, and honestly looked like they could survive a nuclear blast.
Super comfy for workouts, too. 😁
Price-wise, I think they were under maybe $40—can't remember the exact number.
So, I swung by the Dick's Sporting Goods downtown to ask about mats, and they just pointed me toward these cheap black ones made in China. They look paper-thin, though they don't feel *terrible* when you touch them. That’s definitely not what we're looking for, right??

That’s awesome, thanks so much! I’ve been scouring the internet for these and could only find them right here:
So, I just got back from my beach trip. Right at the start of vacation, a jellyfish stung my leg—nothing huge, just a little sting, so I basically just rinsed it off in the ocean, then hit the shower back at the rental and slathered some Aquaphor on it. By the second day, there was barely even a trace left, so I didn't really think twice about it—just kept up with my usual routine of sunscreen and after-sun lotion after every shower.
I haven't been obsessing over it or anything, but I figured it had totally cleared up since I catch glimpses of myself all the time when I'm getting ready to head out or whatever, and nothing looked red or irritated.
But then today—nearly ten days after the whole "accident"—I happen to glance down at my leg, and lo and behold, the mark is right there. It's raised, red, and honestly looks almost worse now than it did right after it happened.

Every single time I try to post a reply, the very next thing that pops up is some error telling me I'm not even logged in, so I have to sign back in. And I literally just did that five minutes ago! Is there some weird limit or something I'm missing? Please help!
I’m no tech wizard, but I dealt with that exact same headache until I finally checked the "remember me" box when logging in... give that a shot, might actually fix it.😉
So, about a day and a half ago, I realized my ankles are totally swollen. It’s not like I’m incapacitated or anything, but there’s this weird sensation—both inside and out—and the left one is definitely acting up a bit more than the right.
I tried propping my feet up on some pillows, but honestly, it didn't seem to do much of anything. I had some horse chestnut cream lying around from when I was dealing with those annoying broken capillaries, so I slathered that on, and it actually helped take the edge off a little. I’ve got a trip to Miami planned for next week, so I was really banking on being able to just walk it off in my sandals and enjoy the beach.
Does anyone have any other tips or tricks I can try in the meantime?
It’s not even that they hurt—it's just this bizarre, pulsing hot-and-cold feeling going on down there.
Look, it’s pretty much what everyone else is saying—boosting your immune system is the whole game if you want to stay ahead of this stuff.
And there's a ton of talk about how the sun can actually trigger a herpes outbreak if everything else is lined up against you—so honestly, using a lip balm with SPF is a total lifesaver. It’s been my go-to for years; I can't even remember the last time I dealt with an outbreak because of it, which is wild considering I've been living under basically constant stress for the last year.
Like I said, I finally kicked the habit yesterday... and honestly? I feel amazing. 🎉
The only thing keeping me up at night is this inflammation, though. I couldn't get a hold of my doctor over the phone today to figure out how to wrap up this whole treatment—fingers crossed the bacteria doesn't decide to throw a massive party in my system before Monday rolls around. 😢
I actually called up my local pharmacy, and the pharmacist there told me that it shouldn't be happening because of Sinersul 😕 but if I'm really feeling suspicious about it, I should just quit taking it.
Plus, the little pamphlet says this kind of thing is totally expected 🙄
Now that I'm thinking back—it’s all a bit fuzzy—but I feel like I had similar issues when I was on Sinersul years ago (though at the time, I honestly thought it was just an adverse reaction to Sumamed 😵 ).
So, I started taking Sinersul for some inflammation... and for the last three days—basically since I started—I've been dealing with these brutal headaches, dizzy spells, and nausea. The insert says these are "common side effects" and that I should give my doctor a heads-up.
The first two days were manageable, I guess, but last night was a total disaster—I almost passed out because I felt so incredibly weak...
Should I just quit taking it or push through? I really can't get a hold of my doctor right now...

Sometimes I’m hitting the restroom two or three times a day—which doesn't exactly feel like peak wellness to me. Anyone actually know if this is normal or if I'm just wired wrong? 😕
Look, I can't really give you any medical advice or explain the science behind it, but all I can tell you is that I deal with the exact same "issue"—despite everyone telling me how lucky I am. 😬
Michael Anderson10 said:So, I took a nasty spill off a cherry tree today and ended up with this 2 cm gash right under my eye—two stitches deep, lucky me😍 😍 .Is it gonna leave a massive scar? Anything I should watch out for to keep it minimal? And if it ends up looking hideous, can you even fix that?
I heard you wiped out from a tree🤣.
Anyway, you'll be fine—fingers crossed for you🙂 😘
Like Susan Martin24 said, just let it heal for now. Personally, once you're patched up, I'd suggest hitting up a decent dermatologist to grab some scar cream. There’s actually a ton of stuff out there, so it might be worth having a pro point you toward something that actually works.
Anthony Miller13 said:So, what's the deal with these Tibetan exercises?
There are these five Tibetan exercises that—besides being decent physical moves—are supposedly great for boosting your energy levels and sharpening your focus. They’re even recommended if you're dealing with stuff like lower back issues or whatever.
You start off slow with just one to three reps per week—you should be doing them every single day, obviously—and then you bump it up by two reps each week until you hit 21. That's the sweet spot; apparently, going beyond that isn't a good idea.
At first, it only takes about 10-15 minutes, but as you crank up the reps, it takes longer. You can always break them up into different sets throughout the day if you don't want to do them all at once.
I actually just started this past Monday. Now, I was already feeling pretty awesome that day—had zero cramps, too—but look, I’m incredibly susceptible to suggestion, okay? I'm terrified of getting my hopes up too early. I'm waiting until I'm 100% sure, because honestly, maybe I just talked myself into feeling great, and I can't exactly convince myself I'm not in pain when my stomach is actually killing me.😉
So, I started doing those Tibetan pelvic floor exercises yesterday—yeah, you know the ones—and after I finished my session, Miss M. decided to show up. I didn’t even feel her all day! I took a pill just to be safe (and even used the milder version, too). This morning I overslept, so I didn't get a chance to do my "Tibetan" routine before heading into work, and while there was a little discomfort, it wasn't anywhere near my usual nightmare. Normally, for two days every month, I’m popping the strongest Ketorolac I can find—sometimes three pills, even though the label says max two!!—and half the time I’m stuck at home on sick leave, crying, cramping, and basically pulling my hair out... 😢
One of my coworkers—who also does her exercises—suggested it might actually be because of the workouts, claiming those "Tibetan" moves start working on your whole system right away. Hmm, who knows? I guess I’ll have to wait until next month to see if this was just a fluke or if the training is actually doing its job...

Alright, let me kick things off here: Dr. Petar Vukelić Internal Medicine Specialist - Gastroenterologist

tel. 212-555-0198 tel/fax: 212-555-0199 Hours: Mon.-Fri. 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM or by appointment
I'm with you on that one! 👍
And honestly—his nurse is an absolute pro at doing gastroscopies (if she wasn't there, I don't know how I would've survived, since he can be a little oblivious to how much patients actually suffer during those procedures 😉 )
As for the cost—well, it really depends on what you need done, but for me, the gastroscopy and ultrasound combo ended up being about 😉 bucks $267. (Totally worth it, though—no regrets!)

Hey Mango, thanks for getting back to me... Yeah, I'm in New York City, and as for the illness—honestly, who knows? We're still waiting on the doctors to figure that part out...
Does anyone happen to have a lead on a solid neurologist or an ophthalmologist? I’m looking for someone actually good—not just someone with a fancy office. Feel free to shoot me a DM if you have recommendations!
