Look, I’m all for saying it's stupid to play games and have unprotected sex—accidents happen, obviously—but let's be real, not every girl can just pop a pill every day, and some of those other protection methods are honestly pretty sketchy.
I’m not out here advocating for abortion at any cost, but I do believe every woman should have the right to make her own call if she finds herself in that situation, without being lectured or judged by everyone else. For me, an abortion would be the absolute last resort—the very last option—if there was truly no other way out.
But these hardcore critics? They act like women facing these choices are just going on some fun little weekend getaway or something. Give me a break. These women are going through hell; why on earth would anyone want to make their lives even harder than they already are?

Honestly, I just don't get it. If they were actually planning to take him out, why didn't she just take him to get his shots earlier? 🤣
Grace Gonzalez81 said:I’m scrolling through this thread and honestly... who am I even supposed to feel bad for? The girls who figured out how to hook up but completely ignored protection? Or the ones hitting up forums later to figure out where to get an abortion because $8.25 condoms were apparently too much effort... Good grief, what is happening to the world? And one more thing: Is abortion really the answer for a kid that’s gonna end up without a support system? You know how it goes... it’s messy and brutal... I'm not trying to lecture you, just asking: can you actually sleep at night after doing that?
Later!
Since you’re so eager to play moral police, maybe you should’ve bothered reading the part where she said she used protection.
Just take your judgment and go somewhere else. You clearly know how to lecture people but don't know how to read a post.🙂 😛
I’m sending nothing but good vibes and health to everyone out there!! 😍
For those of you who are feeling solid, stay that way—don't let anything mess with your streak. And for anyone currently going through it, I hope you pull through quickly, or at least that things stop being such a massive pain in the neck.

Look, I wanted to say the same thing without sounding like a know-it-all at the end, but I’m never quite sure if my doctor is just being overly cautious—and since I'm definitely not a medical professional, I can't exactly go around preaching😉
Karen Mendoza20 said:I heard the thyroid can actually trigger depression—is that true? I'm wondering what kind of red flags you should look out for to catch an irregular thyroid before things get seriously chronic. tnx
Hey, just a heads up—you’ve actually got two other threads going about thyroid issues (the newer ones, anyway), and honestly, the one about hypothyroidism is pretty solid if you want some info.
There are tons of different symptoms because the thyroid basically acts like the body's master controller for everything—but at the end of the day, you really need to get bloodwork done and maybe even an ultrasound if the doctor thinks it's necessary.
crimsonhound3 said:The title’s probably a bit blunt, but does anyone actually know what private psychiatry and psychotherapy clinics are charging these days? Every time I call one up, they dodge the question—no ballpark figures, nothing. I’m just trying to avoid getting fleeced just for stepping through the door for an "initial consultation," so if you’ve got some intel or personal experience, let me know. Any info helps.
From what I hear, prices start around $67, but I’ve read that some of those "big name" psychiatrists are pulling in up to $600 per session. Honestly, that feels totally unethical—I wouldn't go to them even if they were Hollywood celebrities.
I heard one clinic used to offer a free initial consult and a couple of follow-ups before they even suggested moving into actual therapy based on what you need. http://www.mayoclinic.org/
Also, I think Kaiser Permanente is supposed to be one of the more affordable options out there. http://www.kp.org/
seamless said:(seriously) has nobody mentioned Mirena, or did I just miss it?😢 😢 😢
I need some firsthand intel here, please.
I distinctly remember some thread—can't find it now, though—where one person was absolutely tearing Mirena apart while someone else was totally defending it.
Honestly, you'll probably have better luck looking in the birth control threads. I definitely remember people talking about her over there.
Jessica Rivera said:Hey Walter Smith8, what kind of prices are we talking about over there? Feel free to shoot me a DM.
I thought I saw some kind of price list on their site—honestly, I don't know the exact numbers off the top of my head since I had my own work done a while back. It wasn't exactly cheap, but for me, it was totally worth it. Now I can just chill for a few years—fingers crossed—and won't have to worry about my crowns for a long time.
Anyway, from what I've gathered browsing through these forums, they aren't actually much more expensive than most private practices out there, especially considering they use top-tier tech and high-end materials.👍
Look, I haven't actually tried ozone therapy for my teeth myself—but I did drop my dentist's info in the thread above. The original question was about finding a solid dentist in Chicago, right? Well, I just realized lately that even the local guys around here have started using ozone treatments too. But honestly, what am I supposed to do? My dentist did such an incredible job fixing everything up that I don't even have any cavities left to test it out on. Just my luck, right?
Justin Thomas11 said:I was actually over at Spirit yesterday—had to wait over a month just to get an appointment. Total nightmare, though honestly, I didn't spend *that* long waiting once I got there, since there was only one lady ahead of me.
So, where are you guys planning on getting your vision tests done? At the VA? Honestly, I’d rather pay a private clinic any day—sitting around waiting all day at the VA eye clinic is probably the single worst trauma I've ever dealt with.
You might be dealing with H. pylori—it’s one of those big-time culprits behind gastritis and stomach ulcers.
Doctors usually track it down through blood work, a breath test, or an endoscopy. From what I've heard, the breath test is currently considered the gold standard for reliability.
The fix involves a triple therapy combo—two different antibiotics plus something to protect your stomach lining—and it drags on for about eight weeks (at least in my case).
Once that's over, hopefully, there's peace. Fingers crossed 😉
Steven Martinez7 said:You could try using some Lidocaine gel—it helps numb things out if there's internal pain, plus it keeps things from getting too dry. My doctor actually suggested that to me along with the Factu because I’ve been dealing with an anal fissure—basically a tear in the lining—so everything stings, itches, and I've had quite a bit of bleeding. As for digestion, my main issue was being backed up, but lately—if you'll excuse the bluntness—I'm hitting the bathroom several times a day. It comes in waves, though. Personally, I think having softer stools is better since it hurts less, but if you're going *too* often, then the irritation kicks in again. I don't know, just thinking out loud here. maybe it's the meds, honestly. Antibiotics are notorious for absolutely wrecking your gut flora. How long are you stuck on that triple therapy combo?
Two antibiotics and some kind of "soothing" med for 7 days (got 3 😢 left), then another 6 weeks of just the "soother."
The whole time I'm just sitting here hoping this is all just a side effect of the treatment, even though these issues started before I even began the meds. Or maybe it's the bacteria itself... I just really need to believe this stuff is actually gonna clear up. 😢
